Well, I'm graduating from high school on June 10th. We will be wearing caps and gowns, but I'm not sure what to wear underneath and for shoes. I don't know how long the gowns are supposed to be (all the teachers are less than helpful) but I'm guessing pants or jeans won't be appropriate.
Also, do the caps fall off? Should I bring some bobby pins to pin it to my head?
Also, I don't even know what color the gowns are, (again, everyone is less than helpful), so what would be some good shoe color choices? And types of shoes.

i loved my graduation :) well lets see some schools have school colors as their color of gown but most dont in NEVADA that is. so try asking you class around maybe they can help teachers just arent that great. what i wore underneath was a black short dress with black shoes. but our gown was white so we got lucky :)
-your gown should be the height you are.
-caps depend on your hairstyle your doing (just in case id bring some)
-your outfit make sure its not to long of a dress nor a skirt (a dress up to your knees well do) you can find them at any store in any color
-shoes id go with black or white (goes with everything) (heel) shoes not to big of heel or too little
-you shouldnt worry to much on your outfit bc the people watching you graduate will see you in your cap and gown but us girls have to look good hehe so hope i helped hun good luck and HAPPY GRADUATION CLASS OF 2008!!!

Where can I buy cheap (preferably under $20) skinny jeans for a 5'1" and thin girl? I have an issue with jeans being too long since I'm so short.

oh this is my kind of question :) im skinny and short same damn problem but if you guys have a ROSS store try that first, the jeans their are absolutly beautiful on you and cheap (usually in a range of 12-20). the other store is mervyns usually around 20 and higher sometimes. Thats where i get my jeans from especially the cheap ones. good luck hun!!!

ah hun dont try to get her over him...ive seen people do that and they say their over that person and its a lie. she has to get over him when shes ready to. if she just says yeah im over him or you help her get over him then she could go back to him or for that matter cheat on you. so hun be patient and diffently be their for her when she needs your help. good luck

I've been haveing a problem with my school life recently.
About a month ago, I changed schools (I won't go into why I left the last one, long story) and I just don't seem to fit in. I eat with my peers, and I try to make conversation but they don't reply or ignore me. I've been told I'm the 'reject' for some reason.
How do I reach out to these people? I had lots of friends at my last school.

oh sweetie thats a tough one well lets see how about you try out the things you did at your old school and apply them at this one if that still doesnt work...well back in the day i had a lot of friends (in 5th grade) i changed schools and in (6th grade) well i only had 2 friends and they werent best friends. Your not doing anything wrong, trust me. But please dont start acting like them just to make them happy. Sometimes friends are hard to find and sometimes they'll come to you instead of you going to them. Try to just help everyone out as much as possible, smile at everyone that you see that is in your grade (a smile gets you far). If nothing at all at least you have your old friends and try maybe texting them at lunch to keep yourself busy and not to think to much of the new kids and school. Also hun dont avoid the "losers, dorks, geeks" whatever you want to label them (i hate labels) because you'll realize that maybe their the ones who will be your friends in the end. Well couple of weeks ago my boyfriend had girls over at his house & he lied about it. Well now i just cant trust him & its so hard not to be with him all the time to make sure , he lives in a neighborhood FULL of freaking whores & his friends are the greatest influence on him either. He says he's getting tired of it because i always have some smart stuff to say about it , Im just SOO scared its going to happen again even though he says its not but im scared because of my scaredness & not trusting him that its eventually going to break us up because he says he's already tired of it , idk what to do & tomorrow he's getting his license so it makes things worst on my part . idk what to do , helpppp ! Well actually I started working at QUIZNOS SUB at age 15 but you have to get a work permit and you start getting free food after a year lol and the food is great better then subway or port a sub (i think so at least) and i worked their for 3 years...:) so try to get a work permit and try out the food places they usually hire...good luck hun hope you get employed and enjoy it you will be spending a lot of your summer their so enjoy it!!!

FORGET the guy, call your friends (GIRLS) no guy conversations, hang out with your family, dont worry about your weight you'll probably gain more weight hun and do something for yourself...in a couple of years you'll look back and say that guy is who i was going crazy over omfg look at what i have now (weather its a guy or just how well your lifes going. TRust me I've gone through it and now I look back and I can't beleive a guy like that is who I was dying over!!! Good luck sweetie.

not at all just because you date 3 guys in a year your not a whore. He or the other guys you dated could of started saying that bc they were jealous you dated other guys. people are dumb and they beleive what they hear which is really dumb. well what i did was have a close party at my house for just my friends we did what we usually do except their was a cake involved. but then we went to our hotel room that we rented for the night and had everyone come. that gets expensive so try to just have a party at the park or ur home or even just a bbq by the pool. and happy sweet 16 early birthday!!!!

so not to sure but maybe if you eat more and that fat doesnt go anywhere else it could go to your boobs lol but that might be bad advice bc if the fat goes anywhere else you'll be asking for advice on boobs and how to loose weight. sorry hun but growth in that area should come natually...

A lot of ideas so instead of going to your typically movie and a dinner which gets boring and expensive lol try going to the park and having a pinic its almost summer why not right or go swimming, watch a romantic (or whatever type) of movie you like just at home on the couch and cuddle, go to the mall or a hike. It shouldnt matter what you guys do as long as you guys are spending time with each other that should be enough fun...hope I could help hun!!!

Wasn't sure where to put this so sorry ahead of time. I am 18.5 yrs old and my whole teen age life i've always has severe acne. It bothers me so bad that i feel ugly and emberassing. Is there any home remedies or great products that work? I do clean my face at night and in the shower (rarely sleep with makeup on) and i do put acne cream stuff on my acne before bed
please help one hopeless girl

omg so you have the same problem as my older sister...she started getting bad acne when she was 19 and it didnt stop till now and shes 21. She tired everything from going to the dermatalogists to pro-active but NOTHING worked. She had breakouts because of her schedule. So I dont know if this will help but try the juice of oranges and cucumber and it may help. I've never tried it but they say it works. If it doesnt then if you want try other things but my sisters acne just stopped when she turned 21 by itself. So I hope I could help hun and I hate acne just as much as the next person!!! :) Good luck!!!
