Im in college studying Fashion. Its been almost 4 years since I've been on advicenators.I have to admit this site has changed my world. There were days when I felt that I have the worst life on this planet and no one could be more unhappy than me. But I guess things have changed since I saw the kind of problems people face everyday. Involving myself in solving other people's problems makes me feel great. I feel like I've grown up. I am a 20 year old girl who has experienced a lot in life. Well first I apply 2 table spoons of almond oil on the scalp while it's dry... It makes it easier to apply the egg mixture and makes the hair grow long faster... I do it twice a weak... Usually on weekends... And I recently found out that you can use herbal shampoos instead of pantene which reduces the chaces of getting split ends.

why does everyone think that sanjaya malakar (one of the finalists in american idol season six) is gay? is it because of his long hair? like some people thought he looekd like a girl.. he doesnt, and never did. i mean nobody really looks at a girl with short hair and thinks its a man. there are other ways you can tell, other than their hair. also, is it that he sounds gay? um he can sing and i dont know too why people think he cant. i dont think he would be in the top 24 if he couldnt sing, since the judges and producers put him in the show in the first place. he just has less experience and such, but he can sing. i mean his performances arent always perfect, usually starting a little shaky and then getting better near the end. still. im getting sick of all these sanjaya haters that make up all these lies. he just doesnt.. seem gay, either. he dresses like a guy too, and in a song he did he danced with paula (the most recent one.. i forget the name of it though but he was wearing a white tux), and in another (you really got me now) at a part he sung to paula too. and in the "bathwater" song he changed some of the lyrics, like the part that was like in the original song that no doubt (well.. gwen stefani) sang, it was "your my kind of man!" sanjaya changed it to "your my kind of girl!". so.. like i dont think hes gay and im confused over this whole big controversy. i dont think hes the worst singer on the show either, but im glad that votefortheworst, even if its not morally good.. gets people to vote for this guy. ughhhhh. what are your thoughts on this? i personally think sanjaya is cute, too. Hey im with you...Sanjaya is def not gay !! He may be a bit on the feminine side but that is his uniqueness... And ppl just talk shit ab0ut him because their fav contestants must not have made it to the finals or maybe because it is when you are at the epitome of success do you make the most enemies... Hey...the best advice I can give you is forget this shit and just concentrate on loving him like you do... I have gone through the same thing and I used to think about it so much it used to drive me crazy !! But then I just thought over and realised that it's of no use... All I can do his divert all his attention from 'the other girl' and love and care for him so much that he forgets her or atleast considers her unimportant. Do stuff for him to let him know that he matters... Like make cards or write poems,letters...You dont really need an occasion to show what you feel for him... And plus you have a long way to go...His wounds are fresh from his previous experience...You have to heal them with your love and time...

Everytime I look really "nice/good/pretty/stylish/glamorous" my friends always spot something on me. Like a little bit of smudged eye liner, or peanut-butter breath, messy hair, lipgloss not on the lips, or make-up prob. Its just so annoying. I hate it. I wish they would just compliment me. but they always find something. So I try to look good but then they always are so mean. I always feel bad after they told me that and embarassed. Your friends are obviously having an inferiority complex with you. So if you know you're looking great, why dont you give them an answer for every thing they say?
For example:
1. When they say you have smudged eye liner, tell them that you did that purposely.
2. When they say you have peanut-butter breath just say it cant be possible because you've just had mints(And do pop in a few before leavin' home just to be careful.)
3. When they say that you have messy hair say that it's the latest look and they have no clue about it because they all follow the same old way of hair styling.
4. When they say that your lip gloss is not on your lips tell them that it's not lip gloss that you've put it's the latest and most expensive lipstick which they can just dream of buying. Tell them it's meant to be the way you've put it to make your lips look fuller.
5. When they say anything about make up tell them it's the latest trend.
These were just examples to let you know how to answer jealous girlfriends. If you keep answering them like this they will shut up after sometime. All you need is self confidence and the right attitude.

I have VERY long hair. And my hair's like really thick and healthy. Lately, I've been washing it too much. And now I worry that it will like all fall out. I've been noticing that it's getting thinner and thinner. But sometimes, however, it's normal. I wash my hair like every 2-3 days...and sometimes, when I put gunk in my hair, or come out of the pool, I was it every day. I don't know what to do. My hair gets greasy VERY quickly. And I mean like every 2-1 days. And it's gross just walking around like that (since my hair is always down). This causes me to wash it so often. Now I'm worried that all of my beautiful hair will either wear out, or fall out...or something bad will happen. ;_; advice please? :'( (link)

To keep the oil away and make it dazzling shiny I put a mixture of 2 eggs, equal amount of curd and 2 drops of lime. Sounds gross but my long hair look like that of a celebrity. Just beat the mixture for 5 minutes and aply it from the root of your hair to the tip and leave it on for 20 minutes. Then, first wash it off with water and then apply a shampoo (I use pantene).It doesn't stink and makes your hair more manageable and full. Just like a celeb...

Yes it's normal. Period is just the shedding of the uterus walls. The blood comes because of the rupturing of the blood vessels and the clots are the actual lining of the walls. So it's normal.

Instead of complicating matters... Just ask him out to a quiet place...I did hat to one of my bfs because we were in the same situation... Firstly, tell him that you both have been fighting alot these days and you dont like it because you end up feeling guilty. Apologize. That will melt him.

Getting smokey eyes makes you look really glamorous and feminine. It enhances the colour of your eyes. Check out my snap in my profile. I've done up a smokey eyes look.
You'll need-
1. Black Kohl pencil.
2. Black Eye shadow.
3. Black eyeliner.
4. Black Mascara.
5. A foundation complementing you skin colour.
Firstly, apply the foundation on the eye lids, the region under the eye and under the brows. It keeps the make up in place and prevents the kohl from getting smudged too much.
Next, apply the eyeliner. It should not be too thin nor should it be too thick. About 1mm would do.
Then, apply the kohl. Put a heavy layer. Then using your clean fingers, rub it from left to right.
Next, take the black eye shadow, apply it on your eyelids and give a shaded effect on the outer corners. Apply a thin layer of black shadow right under the kohl line.
Lastly, apply 2 coats of mascara on your lashes.
You can make your eyes look dramatic by applying a dot of white eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes.

hey darkside. i was just wondering, what is your opinion on death? how some people die young, and they are nice people, and grumpy, mean people who dont take care of themselves live longer? why does one deserve to live and the other deserve to die? in the Haulocaust, why is it that the survivors have lived, when their sisters where killed? how come the mean people somtimes seem happier then the nice people? why do they get the attention and the luck? God really does make life fair in the end right? and the people with hardships get reward in heaven/the next life. but, is that really fair to the people who just werent faced with hardships? if sombody is nice, and has an eaasy life, why shouldent they get the same oppurtinity to get eternal happiness as everybody else? what is your opinion to any of these questions?

Hey...I think that death is something which is inevitable...you just cant escape it... I dont know if it's just a coincidence ,but just before logging into Advicenators, one of my friends called up to give me the horrible news of the death of one of my class-mates... He was just 17... He wasn't my friends and I just remember talking to him once in 1st grade... He was a very quiet boy and was amazing in studies... He never had many friends but I remeber him as being the most honest and humble person in class... My class is full op people having grudges, back-stabbers and people who fight alot... But I dont recall any one having a grudge against him... I guess God take back people who are too nice to be on earth...These are the people who God loves the most... The world is not a good place it's full of people who are sinners...Who commit crimes for their benefits... In my opinion, hell is a better place than earth... And so, The people who are mean remain happy in a place like earth... But at the end of it all, the amount of sufferance one gives to someone is equal to what he will suffer when he requires happiness the most... That's God's way of punishing people who are bad... People who are already good, shouldn't stop doing the good they are doing... They shouldn't get influenced by the bad people... Trust me... God has a plan for everyone... And everyone will get what they deserve...

I've had too many friends that have stabbed me in the back. I have done nothing but be there for them. Yes they've been there for me, but I realized I can't do it anymore. My last friend I ended up losing her because I finally told her how I felt about her. At least I was honest to her face. But now she thinks because she's pregnant she's better than everyone. It makes me feel bad because I told her how I felt, but it also makes me feel good because I was finally able to stand up to her and make her realize that I ain't gonna take it anymore. You know what, you remind me of what I went through with three of my best friends who back-stabbed me too... I know it hurts...It hurts alot...But I learnt to live with it... At that point of time I had many friends who supported me and sypathised with me...But I always longed for that close friend who would truly understand me... And I finally found that one true friend... The point is not about having many friends who tell you what you want to hear and expect you to do the same... And it was stupid of me because i did it just to gain my bf attention who left me after some days because he thought I was crazy...so I told myself that cutting myself would not get me any sympathies...It will just drive people away from me...My friends did sympathise with me...But that's about it. So I stopped myself because trust me..it's no good...All you're left with is pain and heartache.
