ok, i'll start with smoky eyes, because they're not just for the blue-eyed. for subtle smoky eyes:

1. firstly, apply a shade of shadow close to your skin tone over the whole of your lid with a brush.
2. next, apply a slightly darker shade up to the sockey line. using a brush you can slowly build up the colour, or using your fingers will give you more intense colour.
3. then apply the darkest shade to the socket line using small circular motions
4. now use a pale shade along the brow line to open up your eyes.
5. finally, apply eyeliner along the lashline, working from the outer to inner corner, slowly and in small sections to avoid huge mistakes. do not use a liquid eyeliner for smoky eyes, and never unless you're a pro. then finish with a mascara using zigzag motion for full coverage.

all these shades are good in brown, make sure they match to avoid stripy eyes. combine this with subtle lip and cheek makeup to emphasise your eyes, and balance out your whole face.

for rock n roll, overstated smoky eyes (you could use metallic shades for some added glam):

1. draw a line of kohl along the top of your eyelashes to highlight your eyes, stretching your eyelid out with one hand, and then apply a thick line to the bottom of your eyelids.
2. apply black or dark grey eyeshadow to your eyelids with an applicator brush, working outwards, and then add some powder underneath your eyes.

simple as that

as far as other styles are concerned, for dark eyes and brown hair, the colours to use are intense, taupe, plummy purples, chocolate browns, etc. also, golds and pale creamy shades work for most eye colours.

hope this helps,

Getting smokey eyes makes you look really glamorous and feminine. It enhances the colour of your eyes. Check out my snap in my profile. I've done up a smokey eyes look.

You'll need-
1. Black Kohl pencil.
2. Black Eye shadow.
3. Black eyeliner.
4. Black Mascara.
5. A foundation complementing you skin colour.

Firstly, apply the foundation on the eye lids, the region under the eye and under the brows. It keeps the make up in place and prevents the kohl from getting smudged too much.
Next, apply the eyeliner. It should not be too thin nor should it be too thick. About 1mm would do.
Then, apply the kohl. Put a heavy layer. Then using your clean fingers, rub it from left to right.
Next, take the black eye shadow, apply it on your eyelids and give a shaded effect on the outer corners. Apply a thin layer of black shadow right under the kohl line.
Lastly, apply 2 coats of mascara on your lashes.

You can make your eyes look dramatic by applying a dot of white eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes.

You'll look great Sweetie, xxxxx DaRkSiDe89 xxxxx
