i have a few stretch marks on my inner thighs... and i dont understand it. im not overweight or anything. so why do i have these? and how do u get them? from losing weight, gaining weight, both? And finally, how can i get rid of or reduce the appearance of them?? thanks!! (link)
Stretch marks can be due to weight gain, medication, sudden growth or many other reasons including genetics..
http://www.embarrassingproblems.co.uk/stretch.htm
thats a really good website about them:)
I know they're annoying, i was in the same situation as you (mine have faded over time and due to the thing i will mention in a moment) You can't get rid of them but they will fade over time and there's lots of cream etc to fade them. The oil i used/use is bio oil which helps fade scars and stretchmarks. I found it take a few months to fade them but you start noticing the results after about a month which is good when you think stretchmarks take years to fade!
www.bio-oil.info/en/home

IF you have the money to, you can get laser to reduce them but i think if you only have a few it wouldn't be worth the money! Take a look at those websites though, i hope they help you:)

i have a few blemishes like acne that r directly in the center of my face. what should i do?? (link)
I don't know whether you're a boy or girl. If you're a girl buy a spot stick like witch hazel that covers the spot and also treats it so it goes less red and clears away. For boys and girls Proactive acne creams are amazing too, they cost quite a lot but the results are amazing. That said if you only have a few blemishes just exfoliate your face 1-2 times a week with a tea tree oil facial scrub, cleanse everyday then use a spot cream at night and they should dry up:) The place you're describing sounds like your t-zone (between eyebrows and above) which tends to carry excess oils..Read this for some advice:

For the St. Tropez, there are so many different products. Which spray do you recommend from the list? I'm gonna go with that one since you've actually used it, so its more reliable. (link)
I've personally used the bronzing mist spray and the whipped bronze mousse. They both give you a non orange tan but both myself and my mum found that the mousse gives you less colour and the spray is darker, so really it depends on what you are looking for the lighten or darker colour. I personally prefer the spray and so does my mum:) Advice though..WEAR GLOVES from experience it WILL leave your hands looking dark lol. The small tanning system looks quite good though i haven't used polisher or anything but the st tropez experts say you get the best effect by using them with the spray or mousse. You get 4oz body polisher, 4oz moisturizer and 4oz whipped bronze mousse OR 5oz bronzing mist spray with sponge(you need a sponge if you don't get this anyway) for $42.56 which doesn't seem a bad price!:)

Sorry tell me if you get this i can't seem to be able to reply directly to the question about where you can get it from lol:S

I don't know where you live but i'm guessing from most people on here you're in the USA (I'm in England) so i don't know where to get it from there, BUT on the st tropez website it tells you the shops in the usa you can get it from:)

well i weigh 140 pouns/13f.

im trying to lose weight this summer, but im going to do volleyball for my school wich starts aug26.

so if i like jogged, would it help, would it also help my arms, butt, and stomach.

thankss. (link)
Yeah, running is the best way to lose weight all over and combined with weights and toning will help too to tone your legs bum and tum. http://www.ivillage.co.uk/dietandfitness give you some get tips and diets to follow to tone up all over and lose some fat in the problem areas. Hope that helped:)

Are there any sunless tanners out there that actually work and do not turn you orange?! I have very fair skin and even when i go out in the sun, I do not tan. I either burn or just stay the same and when I burn it's red, but turns right back to white.

Please give me a link to ones that work. Price doesn't matter, but please have used them before or have a friend that's used them. Don't just go by commercials.

thanks :) (link)
I use st. tropez which is quite expensive but it's really good on fair skin or dark skin and doesn't give the orange effect. Also i admit i haven't used it but i've heard fake bake it used by celebs and is a lot like st.tropez in colour. About st.tropez though, go for the spray not the daily moisturizer as it works a lot better. (they use st.tropez at salons too)
http://www.sttropeztan.com/
http://www.fakebake.net/
Read about them a bit then decide, sorry that i picked expensive ones but the truth is, the price is worth it:)

I'm really into fashion.. but I cannot put a cute outfit together myself for well, me! I'm not into abercrombie and fitch pricey clothes or brand names across shirts. I have no idea what colors look good on me. I've been told red but I cannot wear red at school.. since I'm usually there.. I don't bother buying it. Help? I'm going to be a junior next year and I want a makeover. Makeup tips, fashion tips, hair cut [?] style?

I can do a makeover for someone else but not myself. I've changed my look so much by myself and it comes out bad. I just want opinions!

Here's me

http://i7.tinypic.com/4zx9fus.jpg
http://i16.tinypic.com/61oeib8.png

I'm kinda small. 5'0-5'1 85 pounds. I'm 16. I have dark brown eyes that I would love to brighten up. Makeup tips/brands? I dyed my hair black to cover up previous dyes, some dark brown [natural color] is peeking through eh. It's also naturally wavy. Any way to wear it pretty and have it out of my face?

I really like the style of Forever 21 and Wet Seal.. I just usually wore black for many years because I thought color looked bad on me. So I'm kinda lost with fashion. It's all cute things that I think won't look good on me. Help please :]
Pictures would be nice and lots of responses too. Any tip would be helpful. (link)
About the blonde thing below...I'd be extremely careful as i notice you have dark eyebrows like me and bright blonde hair can sometimes do you no favours to be honest.. I'd take a look at Vanessa Hudgens style as i'm guessing you have her colouring as for your hair etc. As for colour i wouldn't keep black, i'd dye it closer to your original colour or a bit lighter brown as you are dark eyed etc. Just because your hair is dark doesn't mean you can't be bright looking, you just use the wonders of makeup and clothers for that! If you want to lighten your hair, get some multi toned colour put into it like caramel and dark blonde. As for make-up i wouldn't go too brightly coloured as it can look too drastic, but you can go quite bright or go for more natural bronze sort of colours (as they are in at the moment). http://www.elle.com/ has all the in make-up at the moment and hair etc if you like following fashions. I think you'd suit most the stuff from wet seal so don't worry about colour not suiting you because it will! Topshop (www.topshop.com) have some really nice clothes at the minute that always keep up in style so take a look at them. I have to say though i am from England so the young fashion here may vary a bit to you lol but big prints are in here at them moment, like this (http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=74417&parent_category_rn=42325&productId=391662&langId=-1) which i think would suit you. They also have a petite section which you might find quite handy! (http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=42387&parent_category_rn=42385&langId=-1&top=Y)
Hair i'd keep wavy but keep it more controlled waves
http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/ht/sexywaves.htm
which can be put up into a really nice messy style which still looks like you've put the effort into making it look like that. To keep it out your face i'd tie the front bits back then it will stop the rest going in your face.

Hope that helps abit!!:)

Yeah, You just answered one of my questions, you suggested the LG touch tone mp3. Would you happen to know if it had like a calander/palm piolet abilities? I showed it to my mom and thats what she wanted to know.

Thanks again (link)
To be honest i don't know of any mp3 players to have palm pilot as they aren't connected to a network like phones are...so i don't think you'll find an mp3 with that. About the calender i'm not sure as it doesn't say it has or it hasn't on the website, but as it says it has a clock it may have a calender too :

http://uk.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?actType=search&page=1&modelCategoryId=0203&categoryId=0203&parentId=02&modelCodeDisplay=MFFM37&unit=NOTHING&model=Select+a+model#

I hope that helped a bit, i think touch screens are a new think to be honest and are only just being let out in the world of technology so it's hard to find them. The only mp3 i found was the LG and there are several phones like the iphone, prada phone etc which have the calender and internet..But you have to have the phone too..I hope you have some luck just browse the internet.:)

What would be the female version of the name 'Clive' I need it for this comedy thing I'm doing tomorrow...the closest I can think is 'Claudia' (link)
Those names below are good and claudia works well, i also thought of Clare and Cloe:) Good luck with your comedy thing!!:)

alright well im going into eigth grade and i want a new hairstlye to start school with: i have medium brown hair& its about down to my shoulders: when i straighten it it goes about one and a half maybe two inches past my shoulders: when i dont straighten it its curly/frizzy (and i hate itt!) i almost always straighten it for school: i want a hairstyle that would look good both ways: that way i dont have to take an hour straightening it every morning: any ideas? i would really appreciate some ideas: if you need anymore info on what my hair looks like or whatever IM me at dear kaleighh (AIM)
thanks in advance! (link)
Sorry i haven't got long to type this, but here goes: to start with there are ways you can make your hair less frizzy to give more defined curls etc. (http://www.2hairstyles.com/defrizzhair.shtml).
You could also do loose wavey curls which i think are really pretty(http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/ht/sexywaves.htm), this take a while but if you already have curly hair it's easy!
If you want less hassle straightening it, try using straightening balm for curly hair (http://about.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=1240/form_keyword=straightening+balm/rd=1/mode=about_beauty/skd=1).
As for natural hairstyles, you could have it chemically straightened if you really hate the frizz etc but it's not great for your hair.. Hairdressers can do loads to help you, the best thing to do is go to a good hair dressers and basically ASK lol...simple i know but they know the best hair styles for practical use etc so ask them and they'll give you lots of advise:)

Hope that helped a bit:)

what do you do when you realize you don't love your boyfriend?

this sounds horrible but im so lost
my boyfriend is so completely in love with me but i dnt feel anything for him... at all

i used to but it's been 6 months and he's lied to me so many times i just get disgusted by him now

and we've broken up 4 times and everytime lasted about a week then its back because he apologizes real well and promises to be better, it really destroys him when we break up and i never want to hurt him. breaking up never works, we always get back together! we were best friends for about a year before we ever started dating so i care for him but i don't love him, im sure of it.

i talk to him, he doesnt get it. the thing is we are so perfect for eachother but i don't feel it with him.
can i make myself love him? (link)
If he's lied to you loads and you feel nothing for him in a love sense there's nothing you can do, you'll never have that spark again was it's just to late. Surely if he was that madly in love with you he would have stopped lying to keep you? My advice is to talk to him and say you value his friendship too much to destroy it through a relationship that seems to break up every 5 seconds. Make sure he knows you'll still always be there for him when he needs you but you just feel you'd be a better and closer friend to him if you weren't his girlfriend. If you are 'perfect' together maybe that just indicates that you'd be great as best friends rather than boyfriend/girlfriend:)
I hope it works out for you:)

Alright, my Fathers birthday is comming up, and hes been saying that he wants an iPhone, well... he doesnt particuarly want the whole iPhone, what he wants is an iPod with a full size, touch screen, LIKE the iPhone. He doesnt want the internet connection or the phone, or any of that "new fangled stuff". Figures, thats my father speaking. well, what i want to know is if there is anything like that out on the market right now, I dont care if its not the brand name, what I do want to know is where you could get something like that, or if it even exists (yet).
Thank you all so much for any information you have. (link)
LG have brought out a touch screen MP3, i personally think it's really cool looking too!:

14/f 138 lbs. 5'9". about how many calories should i eat to lose about 5-10 lbs.? (link)
Your weight is fine for your height. Your body mass index is 20.4, the healthy range is between 18.6 and 25 so you are completely fine. If you were to lose 10lbs you would be 18.9 which is quite skinny but sill healthy:).

That's to find out your BMI

hi, im really upset and i've cried for ages over this im turning 14 in exactly 2 weeks, this is long right basically i havent started my period my boobs are growing and are a fair size, i've got lots of pubic hair on my vagina and armpits thats normal. I'm worried about the period thing will it ever start? I masturbated with proper dirty sticks and unclean pens will this affect my period and also i don't do much sports apart from athletics once a week in school as part of PE but i'm quite energetic and lively. I'm so scared i really don't know what to do, my sister who is now 17 started hers at the age of 13 and 3 months i don't know about my mum and i can't talk to them or any doctors what should i do? I want to say thank you for everyone who helps me out with advice and please even if i have 50 answers please still write in thanks a lot. (link)
Hey:)

Okay just calm down a bit, firstly you WILL start your period, maybe soon or maybe in a year or so, there's nothing wrong with you. A good thing is your boobs are growing which are a sign of oestrogen levels increasing (when i started my period i went up two bra sizes!). I was just like you at 13 because everyone had started so i was like ARGH i'm never going to start and i cried and cried. Then when i was 14 and 2 months i started and my first thoughts? 'Why did i ever wish for this to happen:|!?' 2 days of hot water bottles and painkillers followed by more stomach pain and boobs that killed when i did sport, how could i have wished this i thought lol. I do understand you though as i was so scared when it hadn't come and i was constantly worried and stressing out about it. The best thing i did? Calmed down and tried to forget about it, as my doctor told me if you put your body into stress your hormones will go up and down and your period won't come until you calm down a bit, but it will come. The unclean pens etc won't have any effect on your period so don't worry although i highly recommend you don't do it as you'll cause yourself thrush and discomfort:). Obviously it's good to keep a balanced diet and exercise to keep a good weight as being under weight and overweight can affect your periods and hormones. 13/14 is the main time for hormones to jump up and down and it's the worst time for irregular periods and no periods atall as there's too much going on in your body to function everything properly. Really however hard it seems and i know i'm being a hypocrite as i was just like you, just don't panic and try and forget about it til it happens. Just to clear your mind though if the time comes where the period is showing no signs of coming and you're really stressed out and upset, go see the doctor and they can give you the pill to stablize your hormones and start your periods so really there's ways of starting them if they don't come. But i'm pretty much certain yours will come and you'll regret wishing for them lol! You're only 13/14 you have loads of time, enjoy it:)
Hope that helped you a bit:)

how do you know how fast your metabolism is? (link)
Okay i'm not sure how so i look it up for you and i found this i hope it helps, just a note though these methods aren't that accurate as they're for the average person and may be different if you are over weight, under weight etc. The only accurate way you can measure it is by measuring machines etc.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5834219/

That website i found very useful as it tells you the way you can work it out by hand but also says the disadvantages of doing it that way and tells you the better ways you can find out. I hope it helps:)

OK, everytime I think someone else is prettier than I am, my bfflad, Bethanie, always says the ones I say have no boobs. What and the heck is so important about big boobs!!?!?!?!?!?!? I mean i dont mind having a bigger chest than them but wats the point if they do or not. I mean big boobs arent everything are they? (link)
Everyone wants the things they don't had it's human nature. People have their own opinions on the matter, some girls like having a big chest and some like it small, same with guys (girlfriend wise not on themselves!). Big boobs aren't everything but as we are girls we want to feel like be believe a woman should look like eg. good size boobs, smaller waist and nice hips etc like the hour glass figure so we feel womanly. Guys are just the same..But they get annoyed and worried about other parts obviously not their boobs! I personally think any girl can be pretty big boobs or not. There are people out there who just believe in big boobs or the other way round. But to answer your question no, boobs aren't everything..But they're just another thing we can moan about! If it wasn't our boobs, tums, thighs, bums etc it would be something else! As long as there's atleast one man saying big boobs are best, every woman will want them, it's just like weight.
I think we spend more time thinking about our bodies and comparing ourselves with others than doing anything else lol!

my boyfriend is going off into the coast guards in november and i want to get him something special to remember me by when he's in boot camp. what could i get him that could be special like that? price isnt really an issue. (link)
If you want something really personal you could get a piece of jewellery (men's obv.) with something like your finger print or lip print etc on it. This website i saw in a magazine lets you buy a kit and then you send it off and choose your jewellery and they send it back with the finger print engraved in it. They range it prices from about $89 upwards. If you like that idea the website is below, i hope it helps a bit:) :
http://www.meant4u.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/23_54

You can also have your picture, or words etc lasered onto a piece like a dog tag style etc

http://www.meant4u.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/152

You never know you may like them!
Hope you find something special:)

You know that under the bra fat? Like its a roll underneath your boobs? How do you get rid of it??? Do you know any exercises that will get rid of it? (link)
I don't think there's any reason for a 'roll' under your boobs, you just carry it more there than the rest of your stomach. All you can do it get a healthier diet: exchange unhealthy foods for fruit, seeds, veg, brown rice&bread and cut down on dairy products which make you store fat in the stomach area. Take up running which loses pounds all over the body(as you can't target an area) this will definitely help to flatten out your stomach and get rid of that 'roll', combine that with toning exercises and you'll soon be smiling again! The best ones i find are shown under this paragraph. The exercises help to flatten all the stomach. BUT you can't just do the exercises as they TONE the stomach not lose pounds. You have to do cardio to lose the fat before you can tone up.
I hope that helps:)

1) Crunch
-Lie down flat on your back on a bench/or floor
-Hold your stomach in and lift your legs (straight out) about 45 degrees in the air
-Then return them slowly to the resting position (without touching the ground)
-Repeat as much as you need to

2) Half crunch
-Lie down flat on your back on the floor
-Hold your stomach in
-Slowly lift your head to do a sit-up, BUT only go half way
-Hold for 10 seconds
-Lower yourself again and repeat as much as you need to

3) Body raise(i find this one great for the area you're describing)
-Lie down flat on your back on the floor with your arms, palms facing down beside you
-Hold your stomach in and lift your legs up until your lower back has risen too, then lower again, you can do this at any speed you feel..The quicker the better
-Repeat as much as you can

4) Plank(this will feel like its hurting but that's how it should feel)
- Facing the ground, rest yourself on your forearms keeping your back straight
-Now, contract your stomach(holding it in) and hold for twenty seconds then release
-Repeat this four to five times.

OK, I wanna know if sucking in my stomach is bad for you. Because if I do it to long it hurts my stomach. All I wanna do is look skinny. I'm scared to show my real stomach. (link)
If anything..It improves your posture and if it hurts it's probably because your strengthening your muscles in that area:) If you don't like the way your stomach looks, do some exercises and cardio to give you a flatter stomach instead of having to hold it in and give yourself pain. Combine running with stomach exercises to tone yourself and help flatten it. I told a few people these exercises so i hope they help you too:)

-Slowly lift your head to do a sit-up, BUT only go half way

-Lower yourself again and repeat as much as you need to

3) Body raise(i find this one great for the area you're describing)

-Repeat this four to five times.

Ok so you know how underneath your belly button theres like that fat? Its like a band of fat around the bottom of your stomach? How do you get rid of that? Do you know any exercises to get eliminate that? (link)
They say you can't target where you lose weight with cardio exercise but you can tone up specific areas for example your abdominal area, you can't exactly say 'i want to lose fat off my lower stomach' but if you do cardio to lose fat everywhere and combine it with the following exercises, you will start seeing results:) :

There's a few i find really useful for the lower stomach area:)
Also try not to eat too much starchy foods like white bread, white rice and potatoes as they cause bloating in that area. Try changing to brown or soya bread, borwn rice and sweet potatoes, green tea is good too. You don't have to go on a diet, just cut down on foods that bloat you:) Just remember when exercising, you need to do both cardio and toning to get a good stomach not just one or the other:)

Hope that helps!
