my boyfriend is going off into the coast guards in november and i want to get him something special to remember me by when he's in boot camp. what could i get him that could be special like that? price isnt really an issue.

If you want something really personal you could get a piece of jewellery (men's obv.) with something like your finger print or lip print etc on it. This website i saw in a magazine lets you buy a kit and then you send it off and choose your jewellery and they send it back with the finger print engraved in it. They range it prices from about $89 upwards. If you like that idea the website is below, i hope it helps a bit:) :
