song title/band

Question Posted Sunday July 8 2007, 8:49 pm

Okay, I heard part of this but I'm not sure if it's a song lyric or part of a poem but I'd like to know where it came from. The words sound so familiar.

I only know one line for sure but it's like this:

We wear our pain like a heavy coat...

and that's all I can remember. If you can help me out I would be infinitely grateful.

Thank you.
