Tootsie answered Tuesday July 10 2007, 5:23 pm: that's easy. learn how to wash your face and you wont have this to worry about. in the meantime, just cover them up. Use a thick foundation that you can put on with your fingers and just use a butter knife. It goes on really smooth and it looks like your real skin, kind of. then spray hairspray over your face to get it to stay on. your face will feel tight, but u wont have to worry abot your zitty face. First of all, start a skin-care routine. I never did until about two weeks ago and I'm amazed at the different it makes. My skin looks and feels better, glowing and healthy.
A skin-care routine consists of:
Cleanser- Wet your face, rub cleanser all over your face, rinse off.
Toner- use a cotton pad and wipe all over your face.
Moisturizer- (use oil-free) rub a small amount into your face
Once a week, exfoliate or do a mask before your routine. Do this routine in the morning and at night.
After your routine, time for treatment. I recommend this product, it's amazing and fairly affordable: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Available at drugstores, Walmart, and Target.
Use a small amount and start off using it just once a day to get your skin used to it.
Right now the only thing you can do until the routine kicks in is cover it up. Use a good concealer with acne medication in it. I recommend these:
Make sure to use the right shade. Use a tiny amount (you can always add more) and blend carefully. Brush powder over it (I use covergirl, the kind that comes in the green compact) and you're set.
A quick-fix solution is to put some Visine (the normal kind that helps red eyes) on the ends of q-tips and put it in the freezer. The coldness helps bring the swelling down and the visine helps get rid of the redness.
I can't tell from your question if you're a girl or guy. If you're a guy, let me know in your feedback and I'll adjust my answer to fit you better.
chloekc answered Tuesday July 10 2007, 4:28 pm: I don't know whether you're a boy or girl. If you're a girl buy a spot stick like witch hazel that covers the spot and also treats it so it goes less red and clears away. For boys and girls Proactive acne creams are amazing too, they cost quite a lot but the results are amazing. That said if you only have a few blemishes just exfoliate your face 1-2 times a week with a tea tree oil facial scrub, cleanse everyday then use a spot cream at night and they should dry up:) The place you're describing sounds like your t-zone (between eyebrows and above) which tends to carry excess oils..Read this for some advice: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [ chloekc's advice column | Ask chloekc A Question ]
