Ok, well, every Thursday I'm not aloud to wear anything jean. I was wondering where some places were that have not very expensive pants, sweats, skirts, really anything. (Price range-$20.00- $50.00) Thanks!

Well it really depends on where you live...because I know some places dont have the same stores that I have here in New York..
but here's a list that you might know.

-American Eagle...they have really good quality jeans that CAN be expensive, but i got a great pair for 40$.

-Forever 21/XXI(if you have this store)...is pretty much cheap all around. Their jeans tend to be 20-35$ range. they also have great cheap skirts and sweats that are really comfortable.

-Victoria's Secret...they have the best sweatpants...and they're the most comfortable.

-Wet Seal/Contempo Casual...they also tend to have sales on skirts, and decent jeans.

-H&M...is one of my favorite stores, they arent as expensive as you'd expect.

-5.7.9(if you have this store)...i dont usually buy jeans here, but they do tend to be cheap.

-Pacific Sunwear(Pac-Sun)...they almost always have deals specifically on jeans. 3 pairs for 75$, 2 pairs for 50$. They're great deals. Everything else in the store tends to be expensive though...

I really want to get my cartiledge peirced. I've asked my mom about it and she said I could get it done, but it hurts like a mother for a long time. (Then again she did it herself when she was 17.) Which one do you think is better to use a shot gun (you can just get done with it), or a needle (this way you won't have all the pain at once, but it will take longer)? I know either way it will hurt but how much? My mom also told me a piece of your cartiledge comes out, is that true? If I do do it then I will go to a real place, not somewhere like Claire's.

It's illegal to get your cartilage done at somewhere like Claire's. I got mine done at a tattoo parlor, it's the only place that's legal now. Most of the time you have to get a form signed by your mother and a Notary (found at most banks). Plus, the piercing does NOT hurt for a long time. I didnt even feel it when it went through for me. It's definitely not bad at all...dont worry about it. The tattoo parlors use needles, it's the only way to pierce your cartilage. And yes, a bit of your cartilage will come out...but not a lot. When you're looking for a tattoo parlor make sure it's somewhere well known and clean. Ask people around where they got piercings/tattoos and what the best place is to go.

I was wondering what the chances of pregnancy are in the following scenario:

the male uses a condom and the female has been on birth control for at least 3 years. About halfway through intercourse (well before ejaculation), the first condom breaks. After a few seconds, the male pulls out and uses a new condom. The other condom stays intact. The male also pulled out when ejaculation occured later while using the second condom. The only real worry involves the condom that broke for a few seconds in the middle of intercourse (well before ejaculation). It seems like a very small chance (especially due to the female being on birth control), but was wondering about it to help ease worrying a little, since this has never happened before.

There's no reason to worry about it, expecially because the female was on birth control. My best friend doesnt use condoms at all, and she's on birth control. You'll be fine, expecially because it was in the middle of intercourse, rather than the end.

I have a problem with pimple on my arms. Well actually their like ingrown zits. I have no idea how to get rid of them. I already drink practically 4 bottles of water a day. But can you help me.

A lot of teenagers have this problem, it's nothing to worry about. I use Dove bar soap in the shower, and it tends to keep stuff like that at bay. If you need something more extreme, then have your parents take you to the dermitologist, it definitely worked for me.

school is starting for me tomorrow and i need some advice on how to take on people who make fun of me.the school i go to is 7-12 graders combined in one school.and theres one perticular guy i can't stand.his name is nick and i used to have a crush on him.but then i found out he was a real jerk.now he makes fun of me saying i wouldn't date you in a million years.and when he would pass me he would make a barfing noise.and he makes fun of me and my bf cause we're such an odd couple.people say he's a freak and everything.he makes very rude remarks about us.and i can't just ignore it cause i've done that before and he doesn't stop.and i want to tell him off but i don't know how.my sister has stuck up for me for years but now i can barely see her so i have to face him alone.what do i do?

Alright, in High School you're always going to come in contact with some jerk-offs now and again. Personally, when someone makes fun of me...I laugh along with them and walk on by as if I was making the joke myself. Also, the whole two wrongs dont make a right thing is such bullshit. Make fun of him back as much as you want. If he wont stop, then you'll start. Otherwise, I say just ignore the fact that he exists. I'd say it's actually flattering that he puts that much effort into making you miserable...he must think about you alot in order to come up with that shit.

hi, well im not a politics type of guy, so i dont know why george bush and tony blair are hated so much. what have they done thats so bad?

I hate politics as well, but I know that I dont like most of Bush's policies. Expecially his foreign one. Bush is simply not smart. He cant read, and he shouldnt have been elected for a second term. He got us into this war, and I'm not going to say wether or not the war is needed because there are pleanty of reasons why and why not. Bush is also selling weapons to Israel to aid them in the war they're going through just so we can import more stuff...which I find to be complete bullshit. The world is going to end up killing ourselves. You could also say that Bush is hated because there are tons of little kiddies out there that decide that they want to call themselves Anarchists and it's by their anarchist rules that they have to hate the president, when in turn they arent anarchists and they just call themselves that.

Ok, so I always talk on AIM, but girls always ask me to call them. Problem is, I'm bad at talking on the phone, without having an "awkward silence." Especially with the girl I'm crushing on. What are some good phone topics or good conversation starters on the phone so that it doesn't feel awkward, and so I can call them more frequently? O I'm 15/m btw.

Awkward silences are pretty much unavoidable..but you can try talking about things that you guys might have in common. For example, complain about school to each other...you're bound to have an hour long conversation about that alone. Ask her how HER life is going, anything new or anything planned. If she decides not to attempt to make conversation that feel free to talk about yourself, maybe it'll get her to start talking as well. Maybe ask her if she saw a new movie that came out, and have a conversation about how STUPID it was or something.

Alot of my friends and I really want to know what people think would be too young for oral sex not all the way just oral but yea it's still pretty bad i guess it's just there are so many girls at my highschool even lots of freshmen that have been involved with this kind of activity at almost every party we've been too i hate to say there sluts cause that would mean almost our whole school are sluts. Just guesstimating we would say that at least 75% freshmen girls are sexually involved

High School kids are always going to be sexually active, it's nothing to freak out about...and it's going to happen to the majority of your school sooner or later. It doesnt make them sluts unless they decide to sleep with the whole football team or something. Personally, I think when you start High School you have the maturity level to take on any sexual expirence, though I do know a few friends that have had sex or something in Middle School...stupidly. It's nothing out of the ordinary...believe me.

hI,I have a question. The thing is I really want to become a Goth. Only I have failed all my GCSEs in school. i only got a few G grades (apart from getting a C in English)
The thing I need to ask is: don't you have to be quite clever to be a Goth. They write poetry and draw/paint but I don't have a clue about any of these things so couldn't do them. Can I still become a Goth? If so how would I go about it?Or do you DEFINATELY have to write poetry/paint to be a Goth? Am i too thick? Will my lack of eduaction pose problems if I'm going to become a Goth?
Also I AM PANICKING SEVERELY OVER MY FUTURE/OPTIONS/EDUCATION but for a time I was thinking about working with horses. ONLY THINKING!!! i wanted to explore all my options.

was thinking of going to college to do Equine(horse) studies so that I could eventually get a Job with horses. Could I still be a Goth if I did this? If so then how? I haven't seen many Goths around stable yards.should I just be a Goth In my spare time?
Also I might not work with horses I might choose to do something else. What types of Jobs do/can Goths get? And would employers be put off employing them because they're Goths?
Can you provide me with any answers. PLEASE HELP!!!! I'm sorry if this is a really strange question by the way!!!!

Darling, you have a lot to learn.
Be YOURSELF. You can be as gothic as you want, dress however the hell you want, and be as good or bad at poetry or art as you want. Labels are labels, and they'll always be confusing. You dont have to conform to how any other goth is just to call yourself one. Do whatever feels comfortable...you shouldnt have to change yourself to look or act like anyone else...wether that means dressing in all black or whatever. It doesnt matter what you enjoy doing or what you're bad at, be yourself, and dont feel obligated to be anything other than that. This might sound really cheesy, but believe me...if you arent yourself it'll continuously bother you. You shouldnt have to wear masks...be normal when you're around horses and then gothic when you feel it's best. Dont worry about what other people think...do what YOU want, and what you think will make you happy.

Also, no poetry is bad poetry unless you desire to be something like William Shakespeare. It's how you express YOURSELF...so you shouldnt have to be comparing your poetry to others. ANYONE can write anything.

Finally, if you want to work with horses, then feel free to do that! Calling yourself 'gothic' has nothing to do with what activities you like. The ONLY problem with pursuing this career and becoming 'gothic' is piercings and tattoos...if you're planning on getting either then you might want to think that over. Professions like that might be more formal and piercings and tattoos dont quite fit.

You know what they all say "When you give a guy all he wants, he gets bored quickly." What are some examples of that phrase? like what are you not supposed to give all he wants? I've been dying to know what they exactly mean by that.

It means that you should tease a guy, so that he wants you more. Some guys AND girls get bored of their boyfriend/girlfriend easily...so you have to try avoiding that. If you give a guy what he wants off the bat, then he'll think you're a slut most of the time. Have some shame, that is. It'll make you more attractive in the long run.

Well I started dating this guy and we've only been dating 4 like 2 weeks but we talk less now than we did b4 we started going out and I hardly ever see him..and then theres this other guy I like and talk 2 like everyday and I see him more than my bf so I'm thinking about dumping the first guy 4 the 2nd one...but how do I let him down easy?? or should I just stay with him and see what happens??? Personally, I would wait a bit and try to make things work out...I mean...it could turn into something really nice and unexpected. Talk to him about it, and make an effort to see eachother more often. Maybe if you see eachother, you'll get to know eachother more and want to stay in a relationship.
