hello, i am a 23 year old female. i have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for six and a half years. we have had our share of problems, but nothing really bad. i think that our biggest problem is communication. whenever we are involved in a heated discussion, i start crying and he gets mad. i'm a very emotional person and i can't help it. i tell him this all the time. however, sometimes he yells at me and says mean things to me. i have told him that he can't talk to me any kind of way. he never says disrespectful things, but i still feel disrespected by the way he says things. i think that this is something that we can work out if we could communicate better with each other. if i start to cry he gets angry and doesn't want to talk anymore. we recently had an argument, i got really upset and told him that i didn't want to be with him anymore. i didn't mean it and i would like to talk to him about it, but i'm afraid that if i call him, he might make me feel like he doesn't care or doesn't want to talk about it. he has been a major part of my life. he has been there for me through so much. i love him and i know that he love me. what should i do? a part of me feels like if i give it too much time he might not want to be with me. another part of me feels that he needs time to see what he is missing. i'm so confused about what to do. That's a long time to be together and still not communicate. You need to sit down with him and explain that you guys don't communicate well. To avoid a heated conversation, ask him to please hear you out. Have him let you say all you have to say and then he can give his opinion. Make sure you are using shaving cream, go in the direction that your hair grows, don't shave fast or else you will cause irritation, and don't shave that often. If you don't use lotion or gel when shaving and you shave quickly you will always get red dots of irritation. Good luck! And if this doesn't work, ask a skin doctor!

You need to sit down with her when she is sober and explain how it is hurting you. If she doesn't believe she does get drunk and out of control, maybe have friends and family tell her as well. If she still doesn't believe you guys, get it on tape! Play it back and then when it is done, have a long talk. Help your mother in anyway she can because she can end up hurting herself. Well I am a little lost by what you are saying, but I am assuming you are talking about classes next year. Well since you like kids, see if your school has a child development class, or something similar. My school has a class like that, and the second year of it involves watching and teaching the kids who come for day-care. See if your school has a class like that. Sit them down together. Have them politly tell each other, and you, why they don't like each other. If it is petty, you can fix it right then and there. If it is bigger, they can each work on whatever it is. If this doesn't work, then just hang out with them at different times. Good luck!

Okay, my room has been essentially the same way since 6th grade, and I'm gonna be a senior in the fall. I can't paint or wallpaper my room because my mom's allergic to all the paints and all the wallpaper glues. I also have a bit of a budget problem. My dad's unemployed and my mom can't work because of her allergies. I just can't seem to get a job because there's nothing around here that's hiring.
Anyone have any ideas as to what I could do to this place? My bed has to be against an outer wall...if it isn't, my dad's snoring, like, shakes the bed.

Okay, keyword here..Walmart!! They have tons of cheap but good things you could put in your room. Like the other advisors told you, get a hobby and get creative from there. But go to like Walmart or another store where stuff is good and cheap price wise. Good luck!

Well there are two answers to this question. 1) If you really want to hang out with this kid before he leaves, invite him on a group outing. Then if you hit it off, ask him out for some one on one time, and if not, then your girl is there beside you to hang out with if he isn't the guy you thought he was. If you guys become friends, you can always use AIM or AOL to keep in touch. 2) If you just have a little crush on him but don't actually want to hang out, get his sn or email from someone and just keep in touch that way. Mention that you knew him because he went to your school and that you always wanted to hang out but never got the chance. It is very normal. If it wasn't normal that no one in this world would be normal. My cousin got married and has kids. Him and his wife are deeply in love, but if she takes me out shopping or something, and a hott guy walks by, I will comment. I always say how he is hott and if she agrees she will let me know! Although she thought the guy was hot, she never had any intention of hooking up with him because she is happily married! So you are okay!

I don't think you should change his mind. Just wait a couple of years and you will find a cuter younger guy. There was a girl in my school who dated a guy in his twenties(she is 16) and she liked him a lot. They used to talk online and go out on dates. He lives in Ohio and, well, we don't(though we aren't far). So one day, she goes out with him but doesn't come back. She is missing for a couple days and is now on the local news. He ended up taking her back with him to Ohio and just one day drove to the school and dropped her off. She walked to class and acted like nothing happened, but everyone knew. You don't need an older guy. Keep it legal!

The key to becoming popular isn't by being nice. Our parents think that is what it is, but girls are mean these days and guys can be too. The key thing to being popular is having one or two popular kids think you are cool. Then the rest of the group will think you are too. I always thought it would be awesome to have a baby in the house, but I didn't want it to be mine. I agree that you are too young. Maybe in your spare time you could work at a nursury or daycare center. Try getting babysitting jobs with people that have babies. Find people that have babies and might need help around the house with them when they are trying to get things done around the house. They are many ways to "have a baby around" without it being yours. Good luck!

My little sister was like this. Now we don't share a room, but she always made me look stupid and always got me in trouble. To fix this problem(my sister), I simply told my parents all that she was doing. For a little bit they talked to her and she changed, but that was temporarily. Then they started believing her and not me. So, when she was having a moment, I wipped out a video camera. I played back all her actions and she got caught. Now hopefully just explaining maturly what is going on will work great, but if not, use a camera of some sort. Also, if it's possible, try to get your own room. If you can't, talk to your parents! I think it is nice that you still like him, but I can't imagine why you would want to stay with him after he betrayed you. It's always the worste when it's with family or a best friend. I can understand that you still like him, because we all like out ex's for a little bit unless they hurt you real bad. But I don'd think this guy deserves you. If you disagree, then talk to him.
