Don't hang out with both of them at the same time, which is pretty obvious.
If you CAN'T avoid both of them (like if you go to the same school) and they get jealous when you hang out with the other one, just tell them that you are sick of being stuck in the middle. Raise a fuss if they don't listen the first time.

that happened 2 me in primary school. My best m8 had another best mate and i hated her so much but i was friends wif ma best mate and i wasn't going to fall out wif ma best m8 over some little slut so i tried not 2 let it bother me and i made it through 2 years without fighting or shouting at the other friend but during the summer they fell out and they haven't made back up so just try not to let it bother u and just try to have fun no matter what they say and do to each other.Just don't let it get u down

Oh My Goodness , now I know that I am not the only one with this friggin issue ! I personnally think two things need to happen . 1) Talk to them ( separately ) and let them know NOT to put you in the middle or try to make you choose friends and also not to bad mouth the other around you . 2 ) Do not try to force them to be friendds , but if possible try to make them act civil around you. Even though they do not like each other do not let their opinions of each other effect yours.

Sit them down together. Have them politly tell each other, and you, why they don't like each other. If it is petty, you can fix it right then and there. If it is bigger, they can each work on whatever it is. If this doesn't work, then just hang out with them at different times. Good luck!
