hmmm . . . you should make a twisty ending, because twists are good. You could have the ghost be related to the girl and maybe the girls grandfather or uncle or such would have been the killer. It depends on what time period the ghost is grom.

Or you could have the girl annoy the ghost by trying to get rid of her with, say, the help of a psychic friend, and have the ghost attempt to posess the girl's family to kill her, but the psychic friend or whoever comes in again and saves her. Or, you know, the girl could develop her own psychic powers. ^^

Ooh...Okay, so what I'm getting is that the girl who was murdered comes to the girl in modern times as a ghost and tells her she was murdered. Kind of. Am I close?
If you want a BIG twist, it could be that The girl who discovered the murder actually did it in another life, and that's why the ghost came to her.
Either that, or the ghost could've made a setup and kills the girl...but that's kind of a morbid ending.
Either those, or the girl figures everything out and catches the murderer, with the help of the police or something. That's a classic "yay, everything went well and is fixed!" ending.
If you want a more "whoa, that was unexpected..." ending, go with one of the other two...lol.

I think whatever ending you make will be a good one. Just don't make it end like The Others. Maybe have the girls meet or something like that. Good luck and I hope I helped. Please, if you don't mind, send me a copy of your story! I would love to read it!

Whle she was living there? Did someone living there murder her, or was this before the girl moved in? You could have one of her parents be the killer. Or at least make it seem that way until the end. How old is the girl? Does she still live with her parents?

you can make it so that the girl is trying to find out how the girl died in the first place so that her ghost can rest peacefully. have her go through allthese scary things and everything and in the end have her solve the case of how the girl died and let her ghost rest now.
