Iv been here for a few months and I belive that helping others is a way give others hope in there lives my advice is straight forward .I have my own problems like anyone eles out there but I keep looking for the answers .sometimes life isn't easy or not fair but you live and learn every day .I hope that anyone looking for the advice they need truly helps and if you need my advice I'm here for you .I might not have all the answers but I will do my best with this said good luck to all

a few days ago i hit a ladies car and got 2 tickets. i just want to know if i could get my license suspended. heres what happened. i am 17 and live in virginia beach. i went to change lanes and there was a lady in my blinspot whos car i scratched, she called the police and i got a ticket for unsafe lane change, and for having 3 other people in the car. i was very cooperative with the officer and even told him that the people in the back with me had been drinking since he said he smelled alcohol. i was sober, but do you think i will get my license taken or suspended? thankss! It depends on a few factors was the other people minors that where drinking .and do you have insurance ? If you have insurance and you pay the ticket or fine than you should be alright .I sugest yo take defencive driving .it will show the judge you are a responsable person .and he should be leneant on you provideing that you don't have any other violations on your record hope this helps

When I drink cold things like take a big gulp or drink of cold water my head feels really weird. Like I just took a big drink of cold lemonade and I got a weird feeling in my head. It's kind of like when I drink a milkshake too fast too. Why does my head hurt when I do that? Should I see a doctor about it? It's only with cold drinks. (link)

Its called a brain freez .when you drink somethin cold way too fast them some of it gets to your brain causing you to have a headache .I sugest to slow down when you drink .but its normal everybody gets them from time to time .I get them when I drink slurpies .

You might get ink poisning but that's the least of your concerns as to why you stabed youself in the first place did it hurt when you did it or when you pulled it out and depends 0n where you stabed yourself you could cause nerve damage. And could also lose a limb from gain green if you don't get medical tratment so do yourself a favor go get some help please

I need help talking with a good friend of mine who has been in an emotionally abusive relationship for 10 months or so. The relationship has recently fallen apart and I want to help her understand that it was abusive.
While she was in it, whenever I tried to talk to her about it, she saw it as an attack and our friendship suffered. It never got to the point where I brought up abuse because I didn't want to lose her entirely. I kept stressing that the relationship wasn't healthy and she bought into that. She had excuses for his behavior and was okay with it because he did good things for her to make up for the bad. She has been in very abusive relationships in the past so her perspective may be a bit skewed. Compared to the others, this one wasn't nearly as terrible.
The relationship has consumed her for a few months and I haven't seen or really talked to her in a long time. The few times we did talk or see each other, it was because she needed something. She used me and after awhile I stopped letting her. We aren't as close as we were and she wants to rekindle the friendship. She feels bad for what happened and is trying to only have positive friends in her life. She lost almost everything she had because she gave everything to him. She means a lot to me and I do not want anything like this ever happening to her again. Right now, she is blaming herself. She thinks that she was obsessive. I am not sure if abuse has crossed her mind, but my guess is that if it has, she has dismissed it.
I haven't dealt with a situation like this before and I want advice on how to approach it. How can I turn her thoughts around and show her that she wasn't obsessive, he was controlling and abusive?
Should I wait a few weeks for things to settle down or bring it up right away?
My idea was print out the warning signs and show them to her. Go through each one and explain how that was exactly what happened to her. Is this a good idea?
What are some things you can say to someone that has been emotionally abused? I've looked at websites, but I'd like some advice from people too.
I do want to give her another chance at friendship. How can I keep her from using me, but at the same time not hurt her? She is in a very fragile state right now.

First of all women that fall in an abusive relationship and keep comeing back to people that are abusive is because of one thing .she has very low self asteam she thinks she can't. Do better or get someone that will treat her right .she is in denial of it all .and after years of abuse makes it only worse .but if you are a true friend and it seems like you are give her time .and on the other hand don't let her emotions get get the best of what you have for her .be firm and understanding .the signs that you have of abuse that you have printed out is a good idea to show her and I think you are on the right track .she needs to know especaly in black and white .but explain that you are on her side and want too help .tell her that you care about her and don't want her to get to where she was before becase there is more to life then what she had and she can do better for herself and that you are there for her .she will come around eventualy but be patiant wit her it does take time to heal

It wasn't much blood, just a little bit of it, it didn't hurt at all, I had barely noticed it until I looked for a while. I'm just a little worried. I had just woken up a few minutes before. Now I want to drink like 50 glasses of water to clear everything out. They said it's not serious. But I'm scared to pee. It was bloody semen, I have not urinated yet. Its normal to have a little blood in your semen sometimes .you see sometimes when you masterbate too rough you can cause a small blood vesesl to tear causing you to havve a little blood when you jaculate .it will heal on its own in a few days .in the meantime take it easy .

I was in a slightly abusive relationship for about seven months. He was my first boyfriend, he was two years older than me (I was fourteen, fifteen now). He pressured me and physically forced me to be fingered/give a hand job/and blowjob. I was really screwed up at the time. Looking back, I regret everthing and I know the person I was then is NOT who I am now. I let him hurt me and use me and make me feel like shit. I have gotten so much stronger since the break up. It's hard to say he flat out abused me... Because at the time I felt like that was just how he showed he loved me. He would say horrible things though, and he never really hit me but he held me down and forced me to do things and he did smack me a few times. He always used his size as an advantage. He's pretty tall and strong for a guy and I'm pretty much just small... If he wanted something he'd have this way of towering over me or pressing me against something or squeezing my wrists. He was very controlling. It's been about six months since we broke up. And even though it was a really hard thing to get over, I am better. My friends were amazing for me and even though my family didn't know the whole story they supported me through the rough months after we broke up. It was hard to not go back to him... I am somewhat involved with this new guy but I have a hard time trusting him. Being alone together makes me nervous and he can tell... I told him I've had a difficult past but I'm not ready to tell him everything. It's hard to tell people what happened. It's really hard to admit that you were os weak and controlled... I'm just not ready to tell him. He's sweet and caring and respectful and I'm tired of not being able to get close to him. I know it's gonna take time but I know I'm huritng him when I jerk away from him trying to hold my hand or refuse to let his arms get around me. He says he understands that I've had a rough past even though he doesn't know what's happened. I know he undertands but I feel so guilty. I know it hurts him... What do I do?? First of all what he did to you was not out of love he knew he could presure you into manipulation because he was bigger and stronger .to me he is a cowerd .and I'm sorry for what you have gone through .its not your fault and you have to remind yourself every day .sometimes people go back to the abusive relationship cause they think they can't do any better that its all they can get but its not you deserve way better and this new guy you are seeing needs to know if you want to be with him if he's understanding he will be ok with it. You don't have to go in full detail of wht happend just explain to him that you where abused emotionaly and physicaly by this guy .and that you are not quite over this and eventualy you will be but it takes time .you have been through a lot but don't let this ruin your life the abuse is over with and now you need to focus on you but don't be afraid to open up to people that's the part about healing be open to people and they will be open to you its time to start moving on with your life right here right now and good luck

I don't know what to do with him! I found out from my bff that my bf made a facebook group thing about our relationshp. I went and red a few things on it and it is personal and nothing anybody should know but us so I told him I knew he had a secret he was keeping from me but not what it was so he would tell me or something but he didn't. i kinda thought that he posted stuff and didn't think it was bad and I wanted to give him chances to say so but he just said he didnt have no secrets so i went back to read the rest and he had made it private only so now it is hidden from me.
I guess what I am asking is if he didn't think this was wrong why did he hide it when i found out? He still denies everything and now i got no proof because i cant see it anymore!!! i have been crying about this and i feel betrayed like he has a secret life on facebook or something! should i stay with him if he isn't going to be honest and still hides things?

First of all trust is a big issue and I'm sorry you are going through this .it sounds like to me he doesn't. Resect you to be putting things about your relationship on facebook .to me facebook is designed to let the whole world know about you persanal life and what goes on behinde closed doors .its something I don't use becase its nothing but trouble kinda like the jerry springer show. But let's get back to your problem .I would deffanatly confront him you have a right to know what he put on facebook and if he refuses it or denyes it then leave him .if he dosent respect you then he surly doesn't love you and I would ask other people that you trust if they have seen anything about you on facebook .I know its driving you crazzy but what he did was wrong .you see a relationship is built on trust .if you don't trust him you don't have a relationship not a healthy one anyways .and if he's hideing things from you then he can't be trusted .my sugestion is let him go you don't need that kinda drama you deserve better

I mean, I think I'm almost there, the getting over part. We broke up less than a month ago and he's already moved on to another girl, and it doesn't bother me that much cause nothing in high school lasts anyway. But I know I'm not completely over him. My boyfriend is 23 and in college. He lives on his own, rents two apartments, one in the city (kind of in the hood) and the other at college. He's not rich or anything, but he has enough money to get by on his own with no help from anyone. He used to be a drug dealer, but he's not anymore he tells me, and I believe him. The thing is, when I ask him what he does for a living, he says he's just a college student. I've asked him numerous times if he does something illegal, and he says no.
There's a few suspicious things about him, like he has to go to the city every weekend (although he did invite me to come along once). He is constantly selling his car and buying a new one, and always tints the windows. He has two separate phone numbers, one for "business" as he calls it, and one for friends. He was adamant about not filling out the US Census. He's very private and doesn't like sharing details of his life (although we have a lot of very intimate talks, that's just when it comes to other people).
I know he's a good guy (he goes to class, he's come to my rescue every time I've needed him, he takes care of his mom, etc) and it breaks my heart that he could be doing something that's immoral to get money (oh and I forgot to mention, he takes out loans for school, and he's on food stamps, maybe that enough money for him to get by on?). Right now, its a touchy subject with him, and I make sure I am never dependent on him, especially financially. I also avoid going to the city with him because I know that if he does something that's illegal, he does it in the city, and I don't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I've known him for nine months now. I love him, and because there's no proof that he's doing something illegal, that's why I'm still with him. This is the only weird thing about him, in regards to everything else, he's just like any other regular guy.

I asked a question yesterday but I am still worried. Could there be a small rip or tear in a condom if all of the ejaculate was collected and in one area on the tip part of the condom. When looking at it, it was literally all in that area where air is left and it is pinched. It was all collected there. I had asked the question with the condom wrapper being opened a little. We had used one and then a week later I went to use another one and the wrapper had been ripped from ripping off the previous one and had a little opening on one side of the wrapper. Many sites and forums have said that the worry with this is that the condom gets dry and can break or rip easier. The condom we used was a spermicidal lubricant and it seemed wet to me (and not wet from my own doing). I am going away today and will stop to get Plan B one step in case but it is a pain because it costs a lot of money that I really don't have because I am a young college student and I am supposed to get my period in a week so I am torn between just waiting or taking the pill but the pill can ruin your period right? For one thing condoms arnt full proof .sometimes they can tare especaly the real thin ones .but itgs a good practice to use I sugest you use a womens condom also its a ring u insert into the vagina that will kill the sperm ifg the condom has a tare in it .its like a second deffence on not getting prego but in the mean time I would just wsit and see what happens .I think you are fine .just next time take more percaution .it never hurts to be too careful

Try using olive oil it helps sooth and clear up the infection put it in a droper and squirt a few drops in the ear canal let it stay in the canal by tilting you head for about 2 or 3 minutes and then let it drain out its a home remady that works I'm no doctor just giving advice

You neeed and I mean both of you to sit down a hav a talk with both famalies together about your future if you plan on getting maried .its the only way to resolve the differances between two families .tell them what you wnt what you plan on doing and ask them for support .its something that needs to be done before hand .ther is a lot of differances between two families but if you can come two terms than it will work out for the best for instance I spend one year with my wifes family for the holidays and the next with mine .you have to compromise sometimes just to make peace with everything .it will work out trust me have a lot of faith it will get you far in life and thanks for asking my help and I wish you the best

I know what you are going through .I strugle every day to rid myself of boredem .I work 2 jobs and its always the same thing every day it seems like nothing changes work go home sleep work go home sleep .and it gets tiering depressing but what you need to do is find something different to do .I know that its hard to do sometimes and don't know where to even begin especaly when the things you used to do doesn't satisfy anymore .what you need to do is find a support group that is fufiling hang out with different people that has the same problem they are out there look on the internet and get out ther and have fun otherwise it will only get worse trust me iv been there and it is not a way to live .you live in the here and now don't waste time years go by way too fast make a change now while you can and enjoy life its what we all live for
