It seems like every year on the news I see how California has these terrible fires that consume everything in their paths, including homes and businesses at some points. I am always shocked and amazed at how the fires are so uncontrollable.

Now, I know that California gets hot and stuff but why do they have SO many wildfires? I mean, other states don't seem to have as many--or, at least, they aren't publicized like California's fires. Why is California a more at-risk state?

and i didn't find this out until today, he said it always happened to him since he was little. he said that when he sleeps, once and a while he blacks out kinda like a comma and has low blood pressure, then his heart starts slowing down. he said he went to the doctor to get it checked up, they say that only happens when he had too much alcohol.. and they said it wasn't alcohol, so they didn't know what it was. i was thinking it was over stress, because his whole family is depending on him and he had money problems.. but i'm not that sure. can anyone help me on this?! i'm really worried, and i just want to take care of him.

Alcohol, can put you in a very deep sleep, to where you're unresponsive to surroundings. Something neurologically is going on, and maybe he needs to see a Neurologist about this.

The whole blood pressure, and cardiac activity could mean something around sleep apnea. Does he have breathing problems at all? Is he overweight?

Get your doctor to refer him to a specialist, so they can get brain scans on him to check on activity, and possibly sleeping tests run on him. This could help a lot.

Cheapest I found. Boxingdepot.com has many more than that, and it's categorized in price ranges; depending on your budget.

If you're looking for an internet and brick & mortar store, Target sells them. Checking, I saw some children's punching bags around 20 dollars. For regular, it goes up to almost 200 dollars; but many under that price.

i was looking into a school out of state and then i realized it was a community college. if i dont live in the state, does that mean i cant attend a community school?

You can go there when you live in a different state. To add to this question, you would have an out of state fee (increased tuition). Check tuition rates of that school.

I'll tell you everything you need to know! As requested, I will give you more info on them =]

Since the hamster is now pregnant, she is likely gonna be very defensive. Limit holding her or anything, because she can bite. Make sure she is filled with water and food daily. They eat like pigs, no lie. Have her as comfortable as possible. Make sure she and the cage is clean daily, so the pups can have a nice environment. I'm sure you'd hate to be born next to feces and urine =]. That can carry diseases.

Make a nest for the mother. I tore up pieces of kleenex tissue (it's safe), and she tore it up to smaller shreds herself and made a nest. It's amazing. Just hand it to her and she'll do the rest. Gestational period can go from 9 days to 2 weeks. Sometimes later; sometimes earlier.

Pups can very from a few to almost 15. When my hamster gave birth, she gave birth to about 12 pups. They're small, bald, and they are very squeaky. Noisy little things... The mother will nurse them up to at max two weeks. While they're in the nursing stage, never ever touch the pups or the mother. Touching the pups can change their scent, and the mother will assume it's not hers and will eat it.

Nasty part is, mothers do eat some of their young (It's natural). Sometimes all of their young. They do it because to get rid of the runts (the weak and helpless ones) or because she has too much to handle, and can't take care of all her pups. It's pretty darn gross. I hate to be blunt, but you'll sometimes see leftover limbs around the cage. They also do it to get some protein in her diet so she can get stronger, and have protein for her young. So almost always the mothers eat some of their young. Be prepared.

Without trying to touch them, clean the cage daily. They are messy. Pups will sometimes wander away from the mother during the nursing stage. This is normal, and don't pick it up, and bring it to the mother. She'll find the pup and drag it herself back to the nest (it's cute).

During nursing stage, the mother will be lethargic and pretty hungry. She needs her nutrients and water while nursing. Make sure she's filled with food and water at all times. She is still one defensive protective mother during nursing, so be careful. Reaching your hand near her, she can bite.

After the nursing is done, weaning may begin. You'll notice the gender of the pups and it's important you separate them afterwards so you don't breed more (unless you want to). You can keep them or take them to the pet store to be sold (or sell them yourself). I chose to keep them.

It's really not all scary, only has suspense throughout the movie. You do have a lot of disasters that is kind of freaky.

Steph is right. Comes from cellulose, which we all have.

There are lotions out there to help it, and you can take a skin multivitamin to try to decrease appareance of them.

And beside the point, if a guy gets turned off on that in the future, he's likely not going to get a woman because we all have them.

My friend was talking about how Smokey Bear (you know, "Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires" or "Only You Can Prevent Wild Fires" or whatever) was officially 65 today. I am curious though is Smokey the Bear was or is a real bear in actuality? I know that the bear on TV is so fake but did Smokey Bear really exist at some point? Like, was the character guy based on a real bear or anything?

So i have another question about hamsters.

Small blood spots would mean yeah she is in heat. And yeah she can mate.

If you're seeing a lot of blood, you need to take her to the Vet.

hey i'm 15 and i shaved my whole vagina because all my other friends do. now my vagina is burning and red. i want to feel clean about shaving it, but i don't want to have this uncomfortable feeling. how do i stop this? and is it normal to shave your whole vagina while being sexually active?

For one, you shouldn't do something that everyone else is doing. Only do it if you're okay with it. Shaving your down there is personal matter only. That is only something you should know about.

Secondly, you can shave while alleviating the bumps. Shave the same direction the hair is going, and shave very lightly. Use sensitive skin shaving gel (like skintimate with aloe).

Give it a few more days so the redness can go down, then try again.

Keep shaving lightly, and gradually shave it off for a few days. So when you have no hair, you can keep shaving it easily without irritation. You can use some baby powder to reduce chaffing and itching, and/or some gold bond or aveeno lotion. That always helps me.

For right now, get some lotion, and rub it until you feel better.

For the last portion, it is normal to shave without being sexually active.

Only way you can really tell is when she discharges blood. It would be very small spotting. Usually major lethargy comes with it too.

I used to care for hamsters for years, of many species (and both genders)from the second of birth til their death. So I would know.

so i'm wanting to switch birth controls because ive been on depo for about the time that the recomend being on it and i was wondering what birth control people recomend? It would be nice if it was something that caused fewer periods like depo but it doesnt really matter.. I would also like something that might increase the size of my breasts. I know i should be asking my gyno not you people but i want to have some idea of what i want before i go in there.

Going for an oral contraceptive worked well for me. I had a similar question to this, so I probably just copy & paste the answer..

I was on several birth controls. The one that made my boobs grow the biggest was Femcon Fe. Yet I was also on Ortho Tricylcen Lo, Yaz, and another one but can't think of it at this time. Femcon Fe was the one I was on the longest though, about a year, and grew about a cup size.

I would recommend Ortho actually at first b/c it's a low dose hormone birth control, and in my experience I had the least side effects. I went on to stronger birth controls though because of my PMS and cramps problems. Then, your Doctor may prescribe you something stronger or something; but they may put you on a low dose at first though. Does depend how much was in Depo.

I've been looking at different websites to see if it's good for you. And all of them say it's healthy and good for you. But my question is for girls. I see absolutely nothing wrong with masturbation. It is healthy for you. We've all done it, and it does benefit a lot of things physically, sexually, and mentally.

My school year starts August thirtyfirst and I'm going to be a sophmore.

I'm into skinny jeans, and those shirts that are kinda like short dresses?
I'm not sure what they're called, so sorry about that.

Fashion Bug is a pretty huge franchise that is also affiliated with Catherine's. Both are plus-sized and regular-sized cothing stores. They have actual stores, or you can buy online.

Prices, they sometimes can be pricey, but they always have sales going on! No lie.. it's amazing. They have very nice clothes on sale all the time.

You do also have Lane Bryant.. which is also affiliated with them. It's just like Fashion Bug too.

All of these stores are online, and brick & morters. The material is strong too.. I don't think I can recall a time my clothes got ripped from those stores. I still have some shirts I bought 3 years ago that still look good on me.

First few pages are actual skirts/dresses.. if you keep going you'll see what you're looking for. I did check.

ive asked questions about this but i still need some help. i found this guy ive known, but havent talked to in a year, on myspace. i added him and said hi..he messaged back and we talked for an hour and a half..i asked for his number..he gave it to me. the next day i said i was bored on my status..he messaged asking for my yahoo screen name..i gave it to him, and he gave me his name without me having to ask. we talked on aim for 30 minutes before he randomly logged off. i sent him a message (replying to what he said) and said "you left:(" and he said that he came back..i told him he could IM me if he wants because i was mobile and i couldnt see who was on so it'd be easier if he IMed me..all he said was "that sucks" so i got the hint he didnt feel like talking haha..anyway. a day later i was talking to the guy on yahoo. we talked for an hour about many different things..he barely said much until towards the end of our conversation..i ended up leaving because i had to go, i said bye..waited for 2 minutes before leaving, he didnt say anything, so i logged off. few hours later i went on his myspace profile because it said he updated it. so i go on, and hechanged his interests to only liking "spanish girls". now, he used to like me for many years (nto sure anymore) but, the thing is, im not even spanish! im white haha. but, anyway..he hasnt talked to me since we last talked on yahoo! Honestly, I do think he may like you still, even when he changed his interests. Guys do that sometimes and I don't even know why. A few crushes I had, kept giving me the message they liked me, but it seemed like they were playing hard to get when they were telling me about they're talking to other girls more. So I ended up getting the idea that he didn't like me, so I ignored him for a few days. Well after those few days, I find out he did like me.


Maybe you can test him on this: try IMing him in spanish like, hola, como estas or something. See how he reacts. Maybe the spanish girl thing could be a joke, too. You could also try temporarily updating your myspace profile to something that may catch his eye, and tell him to check your new page out and see what he thinks.


And I don't know your level of courage, but maybe try asking him if he still likes you? I always dread asking that to guys, you know? But I usually get the honest answer and I am filled with relief (whether he doesn't or does). You could say, "This may be awkward and I apologize, but do you still like me [as more than a friend?"] Or say, "I read your interests, and I am asking.. do you still like me?"


And if you want, tell him you like him as well. Not sure if you like him back, but you may say it to see what he says.


Or you can ask why he likes spanish girls over white girls? See if he's joking or just trying to find new people.


I couldn't see why he wouldn't like you anymore, because if he is talking to you that often, it sounds like he still has interest in you. Does he say anything in the messages/IMs that give you a sign he might still like you? That could help too.


Then I have another sided opinion thinking that since he hasn't spoken to you so long, he was trying to get over you, but you came around again, and he is still in the process of building those feelings back up. You could maybe ask if he has a new girl in his life, how things are going, did he miss you, etc.. nothing too obvious enough to tell him you want to know how he feels about you.


Now the day thing, he could be busy, though. I wouldn't take it personally if he hasn't been on in a day or two. You can try texting him, and see what's up with him.


The signs that I got he might still like you would be the long conversations, and asking for your screen name. He also accepted to give you his number. I don't know many uninterested guys who still do that.


So try asking him some questions without intimidating him, and if you have the guts, ask him straight out if he still likes you. He may think spanish girls are attractive, but he may find you attractive still as well. So try texting him later on, and see what's going on with him.


Guys are confusing beings. I won't lie.. so all you can do is try talking to him, and seeing how he feels about you. If you don't hear from him after a couple weeks, either something has happened, or he is trying to get over you. So far I don't see that happening according to the information you have given me.
