Back to school

Question Posted Tuesday August 4 2009, 12:59 am

My school year starts August thirtyfirst and I'm going to be a sophmore.
Today, I talked with my mother about back to school clothes shopping.
I'm into skinny jeans, and those shirts that are kinda like short dresses?
I'm not sure what they're called, so sorry about that.
But, I'm not exactly tiny. I'm a size 16 or 14 in jeans, depending on the brand
And I'm and extra large in shirts or large depending on the brand.

So, what kind of stores sell stuff like that, and with thoses sizes?
My mall is not one of those fancy malls with all those different shops. We don't have like forever 21 and stuff like that.
But my om IS willing to shop online

And someone please send my links to shirts and skinny jeans that would fit my sized?
Meaning like links to stores that carry them.
Also, Do not recomment Debs. I've only gotten three types of skinny jeans there that have not riped due to thin jean frabric.

So please make sure any jean stores you list use story matrial.

Thanks!

Not sure if you like this store but it has all sizes, and many different types of clothing.

Hope I helped! :)

Christina brought some good ideas. So I know a few more to help you out.

Fashion Bug is a pretty huge franchise that is also affiliated with Catherine's. Both are plus-sized and regular-sized cothing stores. They have actual stores, or you can buy online.

**With FB, they also list other chains they are affiliated with, so you can check them out. Catherine's is included in there.

Prices, they sometimes can be pricey, but they always have sales going on! No lie.. it's amazing. They have very nice clothes on sale all the time.

You do also have Lane Bryant.. which is also affiliated with them. It's just like Fashion Bug too.

All of these stores are online, and brick & morters. The material is strong too.. I don't think I can recall a time my clothes got ripped from those stores. I still have some shirts I bought 3 years ago that still look good on me.

First few pages are actual skirts/dresses.. if you keep going you'll see what you're looking for. I did check.

I hope I helped and good luck =]

Leah

Who says you can't shop at mall stores online? I will recommend that you shop on Wet Seal's website. They have really cute clothes, and their skinny jeans are amazing. I seriously have like 4 pairs from there, but have had at least 7 from them in previous years. They last really long too, so no worries about them ripping. :)

You should try shopping at Forever 21's plus size branch Faith 21. They have the online store here:

There you go. :) I hope you find something really nice. :) Don't forget about the clearance or sales section! Some of the stuff can get a little pricey so I'd look at the sale sections of the site as well.
