I play the double bass (it's like the cello, but bigger and better.) We have a strings concert coming up on the 24th, but I'm having trouble on some of the really fast songs. It's not that difficult, but I have to move around alot between 1st and 3rd positions, and sometimes my fingers tense up if I play for too long. What can I do to make myself concentrate while playing my music, but also not make my fingers tense up?

Hey im a guitarist.. and here is what i do it may help.. get a rubber band and kind of put it around ur fingers and weave it between all for of your fingres on ur playing hand.. you can do as many rubber bands as you want.. it will make them stronger and faster.. soo practice like that and when u take them off you will have more energy endourance power and speed.. keep it up.. and relax when u play have a comfortable feel for it.. it cannot be like a big thing to you play it like its a part of you!!!!

well i have a problem, i think that it is better if i admitt i have a problem. I cut, and i think i know why i cut, i cut to know i am alive and i think its so stupid..but i cant do anything about it. I cut and bleed my problems away. I always wear sweatshirts so people dont really know. But i think it is hurting my friends that know, because one time i cut so deep it was bleeding for like ever. im kind of scared.

Everytime I shave down there or my bikini line I get these red dots a few hours afterwards...I've tried
- Shaving cream
- Shaving the way the hair grows
- Putting lotion on

Is there anything else I can do??

Ok...I have alot of body hair. It is dark too and it drives me crazy. My face is ok, I'm pretty good at keeping my eyebrows under control and making sure that I don't have any above my lip. But my underarms, stomach, chest, legs, back, bikini area.... theres dark hair everywhere and I'm really self conscious. It really bothers me and I have to shave every day. And then I get razor rash everywhere. And I don't know what to do. I feel really gross and ugly. Am I overreacting?

Um.. Get shaving cream that is Soy Based.. or something else that keeps it from growing as fast!!!!!!!!

Ok guys, here's ,y question! I'm turning 18 soon so I can legally pierce anything I want. When I was 16 I got my belly button pierced on the top. For some reason something went wrong and i got very infected and I had to go to the docotrs n take it out. Now I have a scar there. When I squeeze the scar tissue it hurts. And my doctor said yesterday that it would be difficult to repierce through it. Anyways I guess my question is do u think it would look dumb or hurt if i got it pierced from the bottom??? I heard people say it hurts more but maybe thats just a rumor? Thank You guys so much for your help!!!

there is not really any difference its basically the same area.. but i think it may hurt less because u are experienced with the top and now ur TUFF!! hehe

A week after fathers day my dad punched my brother and my brother socked him back. Eventually the whole family tried to get my fathers fat ass off my brother. I slapped my dad and he hit my bro again, then when his arm came back, it hit me in my head and knocked me out. When i woke up my friend was right there and screaming at me to get up. My bro had run away. I ran outside just in time to see where he was going then i was knocked out again. I felt my moms arms around me and she lifted me up. I wiped my bloody face and ran to my house sreaming :get that son of a bitch the fuck out of my house!" When i saw my dad, his tooth was knocked out and his face was bloody. I told him to get the fuck out of my house and he said he'll leave when he wants too. I started crying again and fell to the floor. My dad didn't give a shit about me. He just fucking stood there.
I found out where my bro went and grabbed car keys. I fired up the engine and my stepdad came out and opened the door. My friend hopped in the back seat and i went in the front. We went and got my brother. He picked me up and started hugging me. We had never hugged before, because we weren't as close as we are now.
I have to get dental stuff and now my dad wants to pay for everything. I know im gonna have to see him cause he has to sign papers. I don't know what to do. Plz help!!!!

How can my cousin and I get this boy at a campsite to notice us? We're around the ages of 14*1/2 - 15...we are NOT SLUTTY...we are interested in just being ourselves...and we can be outgoing sometimes...but we aren't type of girls to just come out and talk to a guy. It's hard for us...last time at the campsite we sat around and watched this boy skateboard...

U seem confused about your feelings.. i think u should just kind of be silent and listen more.. get the whole picture.. and when u finally get enough and just live life.. no need to be embarrassed.. talk with ur family tell them that nothing they buy will change how u feel for em.. and they need to be more conciderate of your feelings.. another thing.. just keep positive and stay strong.. and u wont grow up like them..

I have a little problem.
I Like my bestest guy friend ever. His Name is mike, i don't mind if you kno his name, but anyway. I asked him out and now he is like avoiding me or sumthing. It is weird.... I think its weird.. that happened to me in a way and personally I got freaked out by it.. im sure he felt the same way.. when u are close with someone in a FRIEND kind of way to me it would be like dating someone kind of like my sister.. and for me thats weird.. but. im not really sure what his preference is!
