My boyfriend and I were making out the other night and he decided to finger me. Before that though, I thought I saw him adjust himself. You are most likely safe, so dont worry too much. This has happened to me a lot when i was younger and I remember freaking out about it as well. The chance of u getting pregnent is VERY low since the semen didnt get inside ur vagina walls right away completely, as in the way a penis does during sex. Also, semen likes moisture so since it was a while until he put his fingers in you, this decreases the likeliness of getting pregnet as well. Honestly I wouldn't worry about it :)

My fiance just received his orders and he will be heading for Iraq in early 2007.
I know it's probably nothing compared to what he's feeling, but I'm terrified. I've remained composed over the phone with him (he is currently stationed overseas) and tried to make him think that I'm okay and cheer him on. Make him feel like he'll be okay and he'll come back home to me just fine.
I absolutely cannot tell him how I'm really feeling inside. I can't cry to him because I don't want to worry him any more than he is already.
I've tried to talk to friends but no one understands. They all tell me "Well you knew it would happen!" Knowing it will happen doesn't make it any easier to take when it does.
I'm a nervous wreck. I cry all the time. And I don't know what to do. I don't know how to cope and he isn't even there yet!
I'd just really like a friend who understands. Does anyone know of an online support group for this kind of thing? Or has anyone here gone through it who could offer some encouraging words?

a) I stil have a ways to go and I wouldn't consider myself to young to look for college but i do know that i would like to do something in the medical field and if possible that has to do with kids. Like a pediatrician for example. If you any idea's of colleges like you could help me find a good college in the upper midwest that'd be helpful, also any careers you can think of that has to do with kids, and in a medical field.

I know Northwestern in Evanston, IL and University of IL in Chicago are GREAT to major in pre-med and they offer medical schools that you can apply to right after graduation. Northwestern is pricy but University of IL is VERY reasonable with a great reputation!
The difference between a college and a university is that a college just offers a collection of degrees in one specific area, while a university is a collection of colleges. When you go to a university you are going to be graduating from one of their colleges, such as the business college.

I know exactly how it feels, but no one can tell you exactly when a guy will come around. The most important thing is to not wait for that guy to come around..have you heard of the saying that if you're looking for someone, youll never find them? well thats kind of the thing with guys..a guy will come around when you least expect it, trust me on that one. In the meantime, hang out with your girlfriends, do something that you absolutely love to do and dont think about how much you want to find a boyfriend.

This feeling is completely normal because you dont know what to expect. In cosmotology school you will be having "fake heads" to practice on so you can perfect your craft. The more practice you get the less scared you will be when you graduate. Fear is totally normal bc hair is such an important aspect, especially for girls but if you have the passion, dedication, and the will to practice over and over again, im sure you'll do wonderfully!

I dont have lots of time with school work and other things for working out, but i do have a tredmill so if i ran on it eveyday for 30mins+ will that help me loose weight? Im not trying to loose a ton just a few pounds

As long as you are eating healthy and doing any type of cardio exercise for at least 25 mins you will lose weight (they wont shed in a day though). Also, if you can try to not just run on the treadmill at the same pace..increase the resistance by running/walking uphill or run really fast for a minute and then run slowly for two. This allows the body to experience new things instead of just the same thing everyday.

Obviously the person who did that wants you to go out and get really upset about it and make it a huge deal, so do just the opposite. As much as it might bother you, pretend like you dont even know that it exists. Once that person will see that you dont care and shes not getting to you at all then she will stop. Any colleges that have pre-med as the major would be good bc there arent majors that you can take that are specific to cardiology. I am pre-med right now, majoring in biology so look for the big medicine schools such as university of il in chicago or northwestern at evanston, il.

My name is Alex and im a 16year old female. i weigh 130 pounds and stll have my baby fat on my stomach.
Every since grade school i have been called fat by my peers and even my parents have called me fat and told me i needed to lose weight. Even though i know eating disorders are bad they haunt my mind. I think about not eating everyday .. i try and throw up my found after i eat but never do instead i break down and cry. You dont have an eating disorder..yet but this is how it starts..this is how it started with me..DONT LET IT GET AHEAD OF YOU!! You need to lose weight the healthy way. Diet and Exercise is the ONLY way to do it..youde seriously be amazed at how much working out helps. If you want to lose weight around your stomach, try cardio such as running and doing ab workouts (there are many great videos out there aimed directly at the ab muscles) As for dieting, you dont have to starve yourself to lose weight. Eat 6 small meals a day and workout and I promise youll see results. Dont put negative thoughts about starving yourself/throwing up bc i promise you (i speak from experience) it's a horrible life to live and in the end, you will not keep off the weight you lose.

In the last few months my perfect eyesight has disappeared.
I am 48 and my eye doctor has been warning me that I would just wake up one morning and be unable to read. So while it was a bit of a shock when it happened, it wasn't unexpected.
Now, I have to wear reading glasses to do almost everything. Not a problem with most things but when I tried to put on makeup the other day....oh what a problem!
So, what I want to know is do any of you girls, and guys to if you know! Have any tips for me?
Do I just try to put it on with the glasses on? I don't want to look like one of those old ladies with 2 tons of makeup drawn all over their faces!

If you buy one of those magnifying mirrors, they are really helpful! I have really bad eye sight and I use it and it really does the trick! Bc ur completely right, you dont want to "blindly" put makeup on.

You can take the pregnency test one week prior to the first day of your period, but dont only rely on the test bc my sister has had them tell two different things when she took both of them right after the other. Go to planned parenthood and they will help you out. It's usually free (depending on your economic status).

many guys ALWAYS act different around their guy friends bc they dont want to seem too "mushy-mushy" or not masculine enough in front of his buddies bc of fear that they might think he's "whipped." This isnt fair to you though, you shouldnt be treated nicely only when hes around you! If he plays these games, then he's not in it to win your heart. My advice is to confront him about his feelings alone and find out if he likes your or not. If he says yes then bring up the fact that it doesnt seem lke it when hes around his friends. Unfortunatly, guys still act different around his friends even in college and beyond, it sucks, but thats why you have to find someone that is willing to show off how much he cares about in public as well as in private.
