Consider this: You have sex while you have a yeast infection. Your partner then contracts a yeast infection, but neither of you know it. You treat your yeast infection. Then the two of you have sex again, and what do you know? You have a yeast infection again!
What i'm getting at here is that the two of you can continue passing the infection back and forth between the two of you, and it's left untreated. If you suspect you had a yeast infection while having sex, tell your partner so he can go get medicine for it also. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]

You don't want to pass your infection to him. Otherwise you might have the infection hopping between the two of you.
Take a break and just take the time to recover from it. If you really can't hold yourself back, you can engage in oral sex as long as he doesn't go near your genitals. [ Imperialistic's advice column | Ask Imperialistic A Question ]
MYLOVExx answered Tuesday December 5 2006, 12:11 am: It is possible (though not common) for a sex partner to develop a yeast infection. If you are treating a yeast infection — or think you have one, but haven't started treatment for it — and your partner has penile itching, redness, or discomfort, he should contact his physician.
