There's a good chance your school already has most web based proxies blocked. If that's the case, there isn't another way, to my knowledge.
EDIT: I'd also like to add that if you're school is one of the few that haven't caught on to proxies, DO NOT TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THEM. That's what happened in my school and within a couple months all the proxies got blocked because teachers/admin found out about them.

Hey there. I'm 21/f and I have a year left of college. After this, I really want to move from my house, even if I decide to go for my masters. It is just a very overwhelming feeling to feel like you can't do anything without someone getting involved. This is the most basic example. It is really bothering me. My mom has MADE me get hair extentions... yes, MADE me. If you lived in my house or knew her, you would know that she makes people do things. The reason why is because I had some damage in my hair and she wanted me to wear them so that the damage wouldn't show as much. For 2 months, I have not TOUCHED my hair. I haven't colored it, cut it, or ANYTHING! So, it has healed a lot. I feel that the extentions are in my way. I can never blow dry my hair myself. I have to go to this beauty school and pay $15. Right now, I can't wory because of my class schedule. It sucks. Next semester, I can work, because I can go back to the later classes. But, there is no job that will work with my schedule because it's all over the place. I can never let my hair air dry because of the extentions. I really would just like to not have them. I look at people's hairs after they've had extentions for years and I'm scared. I have had them on for 2 years, took them off, and my mom made me put them back on. Since I haven't colored my hair in 2 months, there's all sorts of different colors. It's not just my roots and the rest of the hair. The rest of the hair is faded out, so it's like I see washed out hair and then my roots. I just wanna even it out. I don't wanna use permanent color, but maybe like a toner or something. She would yell and scream at me if I touched my hair. It's just frstrating because it's MY hair. Even when I have had a job and paid for everything myself, this is the way she is. It's not about the money. My mom doesn't even have a job. She gets her income from a rentered property. I have had to work really hard when I had any money. I even got a scholarship from school, and she made me give her $1,200. Just like that, without even saying she would pay me back. I have had a lot happen to me with the past couple of years. I found out I was adopted and lost someone very close to me due to cancer. It's just something I want to do for myself and for my self esteem. Even out my hair and take out the extentions. ^Henna stains the hair, doesn't dye it. That particular henna also helps fix your hair by deep conditioning it. No chemicals are used and it makes your hair look incredibly shiny. Ask a friend for help and do it at their place so your mother can't interfere.
TAKE your hair extensions out first, you're not a child. The reason this has gone on so long is because you aren't putting your foot down. You need to STOP listening and conforming to what your mother wants. Just stop. Let her cry, scream, and act like a child all she wants.
Maybe you could even see if a friend will let you stay at their place for the next year (With rent of course). You maybe be living under your mothers roof, but you are 21 years old and in college. She no longer can control you.

Never send anybody a nude picture of yourself, no matter how much you think you can trust them. Something bad can happen in the relationship and they could show/send the picture to everyone you/they know just to humiliate you.
Or submit it to isanyoneup . com, thus making it practically impossible to ever get a job again.
If stripping off your clothes is the only way you can think of to get him back, than he isn't worth it.

You can either be very lucky, or you might not be able to have kids/have a hard time conceiving. That or your boyfriend could be sterile. To found out if kids are possible for either of you, you should go to the doctor and get checked for that kind of thing. In the mean time, don't press your luck, rubbers are your friend.

This program called "Windows 7 Avista" keeps giving me warnings on my computer, saying it is about to get hijacked and is full of viruses such as Trojan, worms, and other security threats. It wants me to register and purchase a virus cleanup that costs 79 bucks. Every time I try to turn up my volume on my computer, it always pops up. I've never downloaded Windows 7 Avista, and when I open up my antivirus system to scan my computer, no threats come up. I am so confused and this is annoying. Can anyone tell me what to do or how to fix this? (link)

DO NOT open a virus scan with that program, it's a virus itself. I had the same thing happen to me a couple times on my laptop with a different "Virus scan" popping up.
You probably have a bad virus in your computer that your virus scans aren't strong enough to find. You should bring your computer to a local computer/virus person (Or have someone come over) Those people always have the best virus scans and they can download them on to your computer for you to use in the future. They cost money, but if this virus is the same thing I had, you want to get rid of it asap. In a few days you won't even be able to use that computer without having 5 pop-ups come up every second. And I'm not exaggerating.

Right now I have a friend's dog that she is giving up because she doesn't really have the time/space to take care of him. He's a mix - Australian cattle dog and I think he has some German Shepherd in him. He's a year old, updated on all his shots and he's been neutered.
Anyways, he's been abused and is really skiddish, but not at all aggressive. My parents agreed that we can take him in for a couple days and see how he acts around us, our house, and any kids in our family.
He's happy when he's outside it seems but his tail is barely up. My friend says he's not much of a tail-wagger but to give him time. When he's outside and I'm running around with him he seems to be in his element, but when we are inside he's scared of everyone in the household but me, and even me he's not completely used to yet.
He seems very depressed a lot of the time and like he'd much rather stay away from people than interact with them. Well, my parents don't like that. My fear is that he won't open up to me or them and my parents won't want to keep him, when I think this could be a great home for him. He obviously has a lot of trust issues and has been hurt/moved around a lot and if I tell my friend that we aren't going to end up keeping him, then she will really have no choice but to bring him back to the shelter.. and I'm dreading that.
My question is.. is there any way to make a dog happy/more comfortable? I'm trying but it's like people around him aren't approaching him much except for me due to the fact that he's so 'anti-social'. I'm willing to give him a fair chance and see how it goes but my parents seem already set in the fact that they don't want to keep him.
I really don't want to have to give him up and risk him not having a good home and a lot of attention.
This also may sound silly but do vets give any sort of medicine to make dogs less anxious or afraid? To make them more comfortable and social??

Also, his name is "Ranger" (my friend named him that) but before that I guess his abusive owner named him "Bob"... so she changed his name and have been calling him Ranger now ever since she's had him. I've been saying his name a lot to make sure he knows it and even when I pat my legs and motion to him to come over to me he doesn't always come. He will look at me sometimes but it's like he's not all that responsive.. but I know he's just scared and hesitant. That's another thing my parents don't like. He will come to me sometimes when I tell him "Come here, boy" or "Come here, Ranger"... but not always. Mostly, he will just lay on his bed or tag-along with me when I walk around the house. Also, I will take him for walks and after the walk I will bring him inside and leave the front door open with the screen door closed still and he will just sit by it and stare outside for awhile like he wants to go back out.
So I take him back out sometimes but it's like he wants to stay there and I can't always take him out and I don't want to just tie him up outside right now because then he won't get any social interaction from us and he won't get used to the inside of our house. (link)

When I was about six or seven, my parents rescued a dog from a shelter that was abused really badly by her owner before us. I don't remember that much of the first coule years since I was very young, but I do slightly remember her being very skiddish at first. Many years later, she passed away this year loving every human she came in contact with.
Your parents are not being very fair. Things like trust take time. This dog won't come around with just a couple weeks of kindness. It could take months. If worst comes to worst, this dog may never trust another human for as long as he lives.
Continue showing him kindness. Make sure you and everybody else that lives in your house takes at least ten minutes out of their day to pet him, talk with him in a kind/sweet voice, and play with him. Don't ever raise your voices, ever. I cannot stress that enough. This dog as been beated and screamed at, come at him slowly, make sure he sees your hands coming at him slowly if you're going to pet him. Sneak attacks from behind might scare him. And once again, DO NOT raise your voice, whether he's done something wrong or you're in a fight with another family member. Just don't do it. Make sure everybody in the house understands this.
He is obviously coming around to you, as you seem to be the only one making a real effort to comfort him. That needs to change, your parents and any siblings need to do that as well.
What seemed to make my dog come around were treats. My dad constantly fed my dog treats when we got her (His sneaky way of making sure she loved him most, ha!). You and everybody else in the house should hand feed him a doggy treat at least once a day. You can obviously cut down the treat feeding in a few months if he starts trusting more to just one treat a day, but every day it's a new family member feeding him.
Get him toys. A tennis ball is practically a dogs best friend and sqeaky toys make dogs go crazy with excitment. As I said before, everybody should be taking a little time out of their day to play with him.
Everybody should take the time to walk him as well. If you have younger siblings that couldn't handle a dog with a leash by themselves, have somebody older go with them.
The re-acurring theme here is: Everybody needs to participate in making this dog feel comfortable.

I just got the Kindle 4 for Christmas, and OMG, I love it. The Kindle Fire is colored and touch screen, both cool yet unnecessary features. Go for the Kindle Fire if you plan on reading a bunch of magazines, comics, or graphic novels. Otherwise, there's really no other reason to have it. Plus, the touch screen feature would make the battory life die quickly.
If you just plan on mainly reading normal black and white text only books/novels, the Kindle 4 is your best friend. It's super easy to use and the battory life lasts for 3 ot 4 WEEKS. Once you charge it and turn it on, it explains how to register your Kindle with Amazon to get you started.
The Kindle Fire seems flashy and pointless to me. But like I said, if comics and graphic novels are what you read, go for the Kindle Fire. If you mainly read normal books/novels, you want the Kindle 4.

I have excessive hair in my armpits. I don't know what to do about this. My friends say I have a problem and I need to shave, but I do shave and it comes back so fast. Well no, I don't think superfast hair growth is normal, but it's totally fine. It can be easily controlled. You might have to keep up with shaving more often than other people, but at least you won't hairy armpits, right?
I suggest waxing. Waxing rips the hair out by the root, thus making it take much longer for it to grow back. You can go to a waxing place or you could buy a drugstore waxing kit and do it yourself. From what I've heard, that hurts a lot worse. So I would go to a waxing place. Don't be embarrassed. These people are paid to do this and they've seen a million armpits (And other areas, haha.

Ask your mom to check that website out. It's 100% NATURAL with no chemicals and will make your hair more healthy and shiny. It won't ruin it at all. When you click on the color dye you want, it shows you exactly what was used to make it. I suggest using Caca Rouge for getting really red hair. Also, tell her to read the reviews so she can see what other people have to say about the hair dye.

Be calm and mature about this. You won't get your way by being bratty to your mom and throwing tantrums. If she says no now, try waiting for a few weeks and ask again in the beginning of January. Constantly nagging her about it will only make her angry, and she'll keep saying no.
She still might stay no. If that happens, you'll just have to wait a couple years and try again when you're older.

Hey everyone ok so im gonna try to make this short. So in my 8th grade english class we just finished reaildimg the outsiders and are goimg to watch it tomorrow. Well ive already seen to two times and love it. My friemd and i onsess over it like we think dallys cute. So of course i look stuff up about the movie. Well i looked up this website that said it was approved by S.E. Hinton the author but itnis a fan website. Well when i got on there i clicked on the some of the links like the first one was like actors imfo. It gave like addresses for fanmail. Then below it it gave inteuctions and thats when it started to get weird. It said stuff like you should be lucky if they even read this. You should always type it so they domt have to try tovread your handwriting, only use 12 point font. You should even be lucky if they took time to read it. Only say certain stuff because honestly they dont really care about you. And there was more!!!! I was like what the crap! And then i went back and started lookin at more stuff and there was a picture i wanted to see by some writing so i clicked on it and it brought me to an interview by the characters andnthis is were it got worse! Like the people whole played the characters cussed like a lott and were always using the f word over and over ( i know people cuss but keep reading) also they all ralked about how there goal was to get laid get drunk alll the time have drug deallers and how they would get laid with random fans. Have contest like things to see who could be the first to have sex with cherry. And how they talked the maid at the plaza hotel to give them keys to every room and apparemtly they trashed the rooms like put surrand wrap on toilets vasaline on all doornobs paper on all the beds. How they were tryimg to sneak into clubs like the underage ones and a lot more bad stuff and how one day they heard matt dillon in the trailer beside them bangimg some random girl and how whem she came out they all gave her a round of applause. Plus there was more bad stuff. Anyway after i got done reading it i was nearly in tears! It made me so upset because how would u feel if uou really liked this movie thoight they were cute blah blah and found at that. So i told my friend and she got upset too. Ahh The Outsiders. I remember reading that in 8th grade. Amazing book, amazing movie. I'm glad you enjoy it as well. Anyway;
Everything they said could have been real. Or it may have been a joke.
Back in those times, you could do really stupid things and not get in the amount of trouble you would get in today. I don't know if you'd ever seen Stand By Me, but Corey Feldman said in an interview while the kids were filming the movie, they al snuck off and went to a strip club, smoked their first joins, got drunk for the first time, etc.
Everybody has ideas and dreams about how they want their favorite actors to be, but they're not always going to be true.
This is all news to me, I never knew any of this. I agree that I'm a little shocked Ralph Macchio would take part in these things, but he could have. They were all really young when this movie was made, so obviously they were going to act out and do stupid things. Don't let that change your opinion about them. They're all very respectable actors now.

You need to tell her parents, or yours so they can take action. She might get mad at you at first, but that shouldn't matter to you enough to stop you from taking any serious action. A true friend would tell a trusted adult no matter the risk.

Not necessarily. Mono is extemely contagious. You or your boyfriend could have gotten it just by being next to somebody who has it. Your boyfriend could have shared a drink with somebody who has it. You both could even have gotten it from a drinking fountain. Also, if somebody is a spitter when they talk, that could have caused you to catch it.

I just had sex with my boyfriend last nigh and it felt kinda weird after.. I dint got to the bath room because i waz tired.. When i got up this morning it felt like i had to go so i went.. I peed and i saw a lil blood but i thought i started my cycle... Then like 3mins later it felt like i had to go really bad again so i went to the bath room and i peed a lil and it was more blood.. Again like 3 to 4 mins later i went agin but i looked down as i peed and i seen just blood cum out... Also it kinds of hurt when i peed... This sounds like UTI.
UTI = Urinary Tract Infection.
You need to go to the doctors ASAP, this cannot be treated at home.
If not treated, a UTI can turn into something serious like Chronic kidney infections. (Infections that recur or last a long time can cause permanent damage, including kidney scars, poor kidney function, high blood pressure, and other problems.) or some acute kidney infections. (Infections that develop suddenly can be life threatening, especially if the bacteria enter the bloodstream.)
If you cannot get to the doctors until next week, that's okay. You can soothe the pain by drinking LOTS of water every day. (Around 6 cups) and at least 2 cups of cranberry juice. Basically, you want to get as much fluids in your system as possible.
Also, go to the bathroom every two hours. It doesn't matter if you don't feel like you have to, go.
You need antibiotics that only a doctor can prescribe to you to treat this. It's not found in stores. You will be asked to pee in a cup, the doctor will test your urine to see what's in it (Blood, bacteria, etc), and you will be given a prescription to take to your local RiteAid/Walgreens/Whatever. The urine test takes about ten minutes to be completed.
No not let this go for more than ten days. The pain will increase every day until you get antibiotics. I've had a UTI twice, they aren't fun. I can't stress enough that you need to go to the doctors ASAP.

EDIT: Also, use the bathroom the minute you are finished having sex EVERY SINGLE TIME. It doesnt matter if you're tired, you need to suck it up. Having sex and then not going to the bathroom is one of the biggest ways to get a UTI.
SECOND EDIT: I can't reply to you via feedback, so I hope you see this. No, the doctors won't know you got it from sex. There are multiple other causes such as poor hygiene, waiting too long too pee(holding it in), having diabetes, etc.
If you worried about a parent/guardian finding out that you are sexually active, don't be. You are over 13 and therefore you now have doctor/patient confidentiality. If your doctor asks if you are sexually active, be honest. They won't tell your parents. They need to know so they can help/treat you the best they can.

First off, I'm getting a small apartment with my best friend next year when we are college sophomores. I'm looking for a low maintenance dog, with minimal shedding and easy to house train. Affectionate but okay while we're in class and such... I was thinking a beagle but it apparently is hard to train, so any suggestions are appreciated (link)

The only two dogs I've ever had were Lab/Greyhound mixes. They liked to sleep. They also did enjoy playing every day. There's really no point in getting yourself a dog if you're not going to play with it, you know? As far as house training goes, I'm not sure how quickly they can be trained. And really depends on the trainer. We got them when they were already house broken, I suggest just doing that.
Lab/Greyhound mixes are very friendly, but also protective. They will happily greet anybody who walks through your front door. But once they feel like their 'master' is threatend, they will not hesitant to warn people to back off. Over-all, they're great dogs. You won't be disappointed with them.

Out of the dogs listed, I would suggest a Dachshund.

PS, Beagles are very sweet dogs. As far a training, if you're a good trainer, it should be very easy to train any dog. My cousins used to have one before he died, and he was very sweet. If I remember correctly, he only ever have a handful of accidents during the 12+ years they had him. I would suggest trying to find a dog that's already house trained, anyway. Might cost a little more money, but that's less stress and worry on you when you're both away at classes.

It probably wasn't. You're going to have to keep up with that. If you don't, the hair will grow back in darker, coarser, and thicker. There's nothing you can do about it now, though. I suggest just wax them from now on, you won't have to shave them everyday.

For covering up, I use liquid foundation that matches my skin tone from Victorias Secret. And then on top of that I use Love & Matteness oil-free pressed power. I get that from Kohls.
That routine works for me, it might not for you. Everybody is different. Doesn't hurt to try though.
