A LOT of people at my school talk about how they always steal from hollister & abercrombie, all the time. they say they never get caught, i really don't think that it's a good idea, but i'm just wondering what are the chances of getting caught stealing at abercrombie or hollister, if you bring the clothes into the dressing room and rip off the tags and stuff them in your purse or whatever. thank you.
Don't do it. I used to steal (very minor things, really.. haha, in fact something really stupid.) and now I feel like such a moron as I look back. I honestly could've just asked my parents for it and they would've gotten me them eventually. I really regret it.
People work really hard for their money to spend on clothes and so should you. No shortcuts. Plus, more people BUY items than shoplift. So.. Not everyone is shoplifting, obviously.
Also, in my opinion, you like things better when you earn them. Not when you do something illegal.
Remember, when you shoplift - it's ILLEGAL. If you don't care, then I'm sure you don't care about other illegal things either.. Right? There are laws for a reason.. and that is because it affects all humans in some way, negatively. Well, except you. So if you think the world should revolve around you.. Then go ahead and be selfish :]
But really, I'm not dissing you. I'm just saying it is very bad, so don't try it! Unless you're really poor or something that you absolutely need to. But even then, you'd settle for wal-mart or something.

I actually think they look sort of.. well, dorky. And something that people who go to country clubs or whatever would wear. Like, rich people. But the really annoying kind. Okay. I have a guy friend...And I love him soooo much...he's definitely my best friend. But in the beginning of our relationship, I told him that I have a step father. It was accidental...and now I regret it. Thing is - I DON'T have a step father...but somehow it spilled out. Now he is questioning our relationship and he doesn't think he knows the "real" me. I come from a fairly poor family (we are barely holding onto our house, and I pay for my own food, clothing, school supplies, etc.) I turned 16 in November but was unable to have any kind of party (we can't even afford chips and soda for an at-home party). It upset me at the time but I thought I'd gotten over it. Recently, for whatever reason, I've been really upset that I didn't get to have a sweet sixteen. A lot of people forgot my birthday too! I had tried to feel better before by reminding myself that I could have a big 18th or 21th birthday party...but I'll turn 17 as a senior and so all my friends will be in college when I turn 18. I don't know, I just feel like I've missed out on a rite of passage and that makes me really sad. Any ideas to make me feel a little better?
Honestly, after you're 12, birthday parties aren't a big deal anymore. To anyone. The only parties that are cool after age 12 are the kind where people drink & do stuff..yeahhh you know what I mean. Don't worry too much about it.
Edit: Ohh.. haha I didn't know you lived in those kinds of towns.. I thought since you were poor, everyone in your town was like that too.. my bad ;-; But, you could have a party any day :D!

I just settled in a new city and my son thinks it's time I began to date again. I think you should try the supermarket. No, not the cashiers. Haha, just walk around, maybe make conversation such as, "Have you ever tried this recipie before? I'm wondering if it tastes good," or just try to make casual conversation with them.
If you see a guy at a supermarket, it's probably because he has no one to cook for him, so he's probably single, unless he's married and his wife sent him out. But otherwise, he's probably just cooking for himself, which is a plus, because he knows how to cook!

Well, personally, I think it's a waste of money. I saw a purse that looked like that for about 8 dollars at Joyce Leslie. I wouldn't even know the difference if I saw someone with either of them. because not everyone is that into purses.
Although, if you really want it, go for it. There are MUCH better things you can buy with that money than one purse though.

for almost everything my mom makes, she adds onions. i tell her all the time that i hate onions, and she says, "oh there won't be onions". sure enough, there are onions. she says "well they add flavor". and then i refuse to eat it because onions are gross. i used to pick them out but that gets too tedious.
what should i do?
Throw away the onions when she buys them. Or like, tell her to add the onions into a bowl and cook the food (not with the bowl of onions) and then tell her to add the onions to HER plate and not yours.
