how do you know that you have black heads? cuz i have black dots on my nose and my aunt keep talking about buying me medicine but i looked really close in the mirror and it seems that it's hair because one time this girl leaned really close to look at my face and she asked if i shave my nose =(
These are black heads. Do not believe any companies that tell you about the black head strips. These just damage your skin and peel it off. Oucchh! Wash your face gently and use an alcohol-free toner on your twice to keep it clean. I would definitely tell you to go to a dermatologist for a facial once a month. She will remove your blackheads with an extractor. It hurts a bit, but the results are great.
So I've been doing curlups for a WHILEE now, but the closest I've gotten to 'abs' is the formation of some lines, not really muscle. I was really thinking of buying a 'heat belt'. I'm not sure of how many people have heard of this, but there's a commercial/infomercial about this. It's basically a wrap you can put around your stomach (or theighs, if you want) which makes you sweat, revealing your muscle under fat.
It's basically a sauna effect only on the area it's covering. =P
I was just wondering if anyone actually knew how well this worked. How long does it take to see results? And, does it help in actually losing weight, along with exercise?
Any help will be appreciated. =)
To show off your strong abs you need to actually let them show, by loosing some of the weight on your stomach. Maybe jogging a few times a week? Get moving and you'll see the abs you've been working on.
There's a talent show at my school coming up really soon and I'd like to play piano and sing. :-) Does anyone know any really nice piano songs that I could play piano and sing to? They could be easy to play or hard, it doesn't matter. Maybe some alternative/rock songs that are somewhat lesser know? Any suggestions would be great. Thanksss! :-)

Most of the songs have samples so you can hear what they sounds like. You should take a look through and see if you find anything. If you're stuck between a few just remember to pick the one YOU like best, you'll play it better, because you're playing for you.
ok. i asked the question before about my hands being sweaty. but i eman i looked online of what palmer hyperhydrosis i mean my hands to get sweaty. but only when i think about it. like when im thinking of holding hands with my boyfriend then they become sweaty. and like right now i was reading this question and since i was thiking of my hands being sweaty. they now are. so i have no idea if its just nervousness or if it really is palmer hyperhydrosis. and also is it true that baby powder can help this or?

Baby powder shouldn't work only you if you apply it when your hands are actually sweaty. It will dry it up.
You might have over productive sweat glands. There is a chemical that can be placed on your palms over night twice and week and than later once a month to dehydrate this area. One is called DrySol. Your hands should hardly sweat. I would ask your doctor.

I like snacking on vanilla yogurt covered raisins through out the day (instead of junk food). My question is, are they really anymore healthy than a chocolate bar or something along those lines?

It probably would depend on the brand you are buying. They are a bit healthier yes, but most are loaded with sugar to boost the flavor. So I wouldn't recommend you eat too many of 'em.
Check out the organic food or health food section of your grocery store, or specific organic and health food stores, for yogurt covered raisins that have less sugar.

Warm tea is good, wear loose fitting clothes to feel comfortable, take a pain medication.
Eat vegetables and healthy food, drink lots of water, avoid caffeine and stay active before and during your period to help reduce cramps in the future.

I have a ton of clothes, yet I have an extremely hard time putting together a good outfit! Please, some detailed advice!
Make sure you have a few things that go with everything:
-A plain black top (if black is not your colour try a lower v-neck so it's not next to your face)
-A plain white top
-Plain medium or dark wash jeans (not skinnies, make sure the pattern on the pockets is not to colorful)
-Simple/plain flats or runners in a neutral color (navy, gray, black, white, beige)
-A simple skirt in a neutral color
-Plain tops and tanks to layer (in neutral colours, too)
Remember when you are shopping for clothing to look for classic neutral pieces that you can easily pair with a lot of the fun and flashy things that you have. Ask yourself before buying something you love: "Can you wear it with most of the clothes in your closet?"

I used to be in to modeling and here is what I know.
You will need to go to a modeling school for modeling classes. You might have one in your area so phone around. They might teach you different things such as posing and walking.
You won't get many jobs at first, but the school is a great way to start: to make a portfolio and practice modeling. The school might also act as an agency as well, to get you started.
i'd have to say... i think im very unique and i kinda like that about me..so i've decided i want to make shirts of my own,or send in deisgns and people can make then for me. few problemsss...

There is a pill for this. No, this is not one of those things you see on TV or anything. Ask your doctor about a pill or capsule to take everyday. These stop the production of pimples. My mom and I both take these and about a month later I just felt so great. I had almost no acne.
In the mean time be gentle on your skin. Moisturize after washing with a gentle cleanser; don't over wash.
I ate like 20-30 jelly beans in 1 hour and now i keep on getting pink bubbles in my spit.. it like gurgles and comes out. its happened twice. ugh is this normal? is it cuz i ate too many at once? why?
It doesn't seem to me like an totally unhealthy amount of jellybeans. Get this checked out by a doctor.
hey girls,I'm canadian...13/f....5'2 and 135 pounds....i realy dont look fat even though im a little on the overweight side..i just basically look wide beacause my "love handles" are wide and i do not know how to get rid of them!! My tummy is basically flat...i just REALLY want to lose weight on my sides beacause whenever i wear tight shirts they make me look soo wide...a girdle helps sometimes but sometimes its unconfortable....any help on how i can look skinner or lose the weight? thanks sooo much
While working out is great, all it does is tone your muscles. If you want to lose weight, you need to really get moving. Take your dog for a walk everyday if you have one, or if you can, walk home from school. Take part in more sports because moving your whole body is the best thing you can do.
Of course, cut back on artificial sugar a little bit. If you ever find yourself reaching for a candy, stop yourself and bite into a fresh strawberry or cherry instead!
Hey, I'm quite a fashionable guy and all that but i hate my hair ? its in the lastest style..but instead of gelling it i would prefer not to. However if i don't it doesn't have any style.it just looks like a clump.

Go to your usual salon and ask about products to give it more volume and shine, a shampoo or conditioner. If you don't plan on gelling it often I would suggest you get it re-cut to fall NATURALLY into the right style and position.

Here are some ideas:
-You can use a curling iron through parts your hair to make funky curls if you have one.
-Part it on the side, maybe a zig-zag part, and clip one side back.
-Use a straightening iron for an edgy super strait look.
-Put it in a high or medium ponytail, with a natural colored elastic, and maybe use a cute clip.
-If you have bangs, put it in a ponytail and let your bangs stay down, or clip them up. If you keep your bangs down, maybe a headband.
-Keep it natural or how you usually would wear it, no worries. :)

Wear the colours that look good on you. This is the best trick.

It shows you what hairstyles look great on you, make up, make up colours, clothing styles and clothing colours. I bought this book from Chapters and ever since I started using it, people say I look great, and I feel so good too!
i see my cousins pictures & all the girls have this gorgeous hair. it's slightly wavy, but it doesn't look scrunched at all. if i just let my hair air dry w/o scrunching or straightning it (it's natuarlly wavy) it will look gross & ratty. how do all of these girls from los angeles get there hair with this slightly wavy, non scrunched look & pull it off with out looking ratty?
It's all in the cut. My hair is thick frizzy and wavy. I got this cut layered and thinned cut, and now my hair is light, and bouncy with soft curls: all natural too. For your next haircut tell your stylist what you want, maybe shorter layers or thinning. Make sure she knows you want to have naturally wavy hair.

Bright/neon pink is fun with leopard print, either your nail-polish, top or accessories.
Skinny jeans would look alright, but any jeans would look great as long as they are a darker blue or a black, with not too much fading.
A simple top would be cute. One solid bright color, with a nice detail like an empire waist, poofy sleeves or just a really long top, etc.
15/f. I have a major confidence problem and I'm SICK of it. Believe me, I wouldn't be asking this question if this wasn't getting in the way of things in my life. I feel like I need to be more brave; I'm getting nervous about sooo many things and I worry about EVERYTHING. I also have alot of fears, like I'm afraid of needles, public speaking, the dark, etc. I'm always so self-concious and feel like everyone is looking at me, when, in reality, they probably aren't staring at me half as much as I think they are... I mean I have all of these dreams to have a good job and do something to help people, like maybe a teacher or physcologist, but how can I something like that when I can barely present a project in class without getting extremely nervous?I have no reason to be so self-conscious and I wish I could just take life how it is without worrying so much. I wish I could just stop putting myself down and doubting myself and just feel like I can do anything, because I know if I think positive, good things will probably happen more often. So, does anyone have any tips on being braver and more self-confident? Any websites on how to teach myself to be braver? Lol. Thanks
