Heat Belts?

Question Posted Friday January 5 2007, 5:03 pm

So I've been doing curlups for a WHILEE now, but the closest I've gotten to 'abs' is the formation of some lines, not really muscle. I was really thinking of buying a 'heat belt'. I'm not sure of how many people have heard of this, but there's a commercial/infomercial about this. It's basically a wrap you can put around your stomach (or theighs, if you want) which makes you sweat, revealing your muscle under fat.
It's basically a sauna effect only on the area it's covering. =P
I was just wondering if anyone actually knew how well this worked. How long does it take to see results? And, does it help in actually losing weight, along with exercise?

Any help will be appreciated. =)

To show off your strong abs you need to actually let them show, by loosing some of the weight on your stomach. Maybe jogging a few times a week? Get moving and you'll see the abs you've been working on.

listen I work-out, six days a week...and on 3 days cardio...3 days weights, I found out (and Ive been doin it for 10yrs) 1st I dont anything in morning before I lift, because i want my body to "BURN" the pre-existing fat off, thus if you eat your body will burn that 1st..ok...start walking on a tread mill, for 1/2hr, a day, gradually picking your pace up, and time up, plus doing sit-ups with weights, you'll have your 6pk, maybe an 8, depends how hard you work at it, but to use anything, artificle, well I dont agree with it, FEEL THE BURN, right.....

I can help you and look no further than this answer right here:

It doesn't work- don't waste your money and don't even waste your time.

Bullshit products are huge in the fitness world and I find ads like these unfair to the uneducated on the topic and insulting to those who are fitness savvy.

Don't listen to anyone who says it actually works because they're either lying or just stupid lol.

Don't look for shortcuts because there aren't any- I'll say it again in caps:

THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS

hard work is the key and the only way to yield results. Sorry if I shattered your image on how to do it but it's just the truth.
