"when the going gets tough the tough gets going" means that when something bad happens, you stick through it, and you become 'tough' enough to handle it. i think "when the going gets tough. the tough gets rough" practically means the same thing, just different wording (:

i have three best friends and when we are together we make thousands of jokes and laugh so much our stomach hurts. sometimes we will make fun of eachother we make fun of my one friend jess all the time and she cracks up. when they make a joke ab me or my other friend tina we all start laughing cause we know we are all joking around. but when we make a joke about my friend mary she gets all pissed off and turns away and wont look or talk to us. and she does this all the time and of course we are joking! she makes jokes about me and i dont care but if i make a joke about her she gets sooo pissed. she can't keep doing this cause it isn't fair! what can i do so she will stop cause she always ruins it? tell her how you dont think its fair that she can make jokes about everyone else, but when you make them about her she gets mad at you. because it isnt.
if she knows its messing around when she makes the jokes, she knows its messing around when you do.
and if she doesn't want to talk to you guys, she doesn't have to.

Okay, so I've been talking to my ex boyfriend's friend(who is a freshman and so am I), and we both have been getting to know each other alot. Plus two days ago, he told me he liked me, and I told him I liked him...Bad part is that he lives like an hour away and I don't know how we would see each other. Even thought he goes to the same school with my ex, and they are friends, but i'm not on good terms with my ex. But we really want to hang out, we just don't know how, and if our parents would even let us.
Then he told me that he just wanted to be friends and he said that a relationship wouldn't work out, so by that I got very sad...I mean wouldn't you be sad if a guy led you on like that, then dropped you?
But then he told me he didn't mean it like that, yeah right, and then he still wanted to try to have something with me because apparently he likes me "alot".
I don't know though, because after he told me it probably wouldn't work, I agreed with him, and now I don't know how I feel.
Plus there are two other guys that like me too. One of them goes to the same school I do(I don't really like him), and the other guy goes to a different school but he still lives close by, which I kind of have feelings for...Even though i'm a freshman and he's a jr. (in highschool)
So if anyone has any advice on what I should dooo...Please help.

From experience ive noticed that long distance only works if both people are mature enough to handle. my ex-bf wasn't. so the relationship didn't work. it takes alot of trust. If you and him are ready for that, go for it.
but my advice is to focus on the guy that lives close by. you would see him more, even though he doesn't go to your school. its alot better than an hour away. right? and age shouldnt matter, even if he's a jr. my brothers gf is alsmot 3 years younger than him.

i dont think theres very much difference.
except if you're younger, than you cant really date, so you just say youre 'boyfriend and girlfriend'.
but when you're dating, you are boyfriend and girlfriend.
dating is just more mature, for more mature people.

im 13/f. i just got back from the doc. i am 5'2 and weigh 90 pounds. i grew 5 inches and gained 14 pounds in a year. is that normal? cause i feel biiiiggg.

defenitely normal.
i grew a foot in two years. so about the same as you. but for two years straight. its completely normal, because we're at the age where we hit growth spirt often.
also, if your doctor didn't say there was anything wrong with you, there isnt (;

Theres this guy in which i have a long past with and a long story that i dont want to get into and his best friend told me thats his case.
That he wants me to think he hates me, just because of rumors spread about us.
He tells everyone that he doesnt like me at all, but he told his bestfriend he does like me and to ignore his act he puts on.
So should I really believe his friend?

i don't think i am singing right! I keep getting really soar right in the middle of a song like i'm pushing too hard, but if i don't then you can barely hear me. I know breathe out of your diaphram and stuff and i'm working on that. but my voice is giving out. what am i doing wrong?

i used to be in a singing program.
and one of the things my teacher taught me was that if you ever feel like you might be straining, put your chin down.
usually, when you sing impropperly you tilt your head back.
if you tilt it forward, it becomes sort-of impossible to do.
also make sure that you have good singing posture (shoulders back, standing up straight...)
so, if that doesnt work, i saw that someone else said water.
i suggest room temperature.
because anything cold on your vocal chords, is not a good idea (;

This weekend at a church event, I accepted Christ. It was quite amazing, my leaders and friends helped so much, but now the weekends over and I'm not sure what to next. I talked to a few people who recommened baptism, but I don't feel like that is what I really should do, not yet anyways. I attend a church on occasion with my mom, but my family isn't religious, which makes me wanting to be a stronger Christian difficult. I havent told my parents about being saved yet, I'm unsure of their reactions.
So, what should I do now? How do I start to help my relationship with God grow? How do I explain to my parents whats going on? Is there anything I should know? (link)

To start to help your relationship with God grow.
go to church everytime theres a service.
have quiet time with God everyday.
you can have this by listening to your favorite worship music.
or singing it, is what i do.
and reading you bible.
or maybe just praying.
have regular conversations with God.
it can be as short/long as you want it to be.
to tell your parents.
just come right out and say it.
say, "mom, dad. when i went to (the event) with church this weekend, I got saved. and im a christian now"
they should be understanding concidering you have a right to believe in whatever you want.
If they get mad, don't give them an attitude.
no matter how hard it is.
One of Gods comandments is to honor and obey your parents.
