What's up? Well, I'm sure like each and every other advice columnist is that, we all enjoy giving advice . I like to keep things real and you'll find out how real when you ask me a question . my friend Breanna is pregnant. But she smokes and drinks every month. What do I do to stop her from killing the baby?
Tell Breanna that if she wants to deliver a healthy child, that she has to stop smoking ,and drinking . Tell her that her baby could develop brain damage and many more handicapps that come along with drinking . I really care and I am worried . I think it would matter if she knew you cared about her and her child's sake .

I think you should focus on the girl that uou are witb right now . She would like it if she knew you are fully devoted to this relationship . If your relationship with the girl that you are currently with doesn't go as you planned , then date this other girl that you like , but right now be faithful . The other girl and the girl you are with can respect that .
Greetings, it's me, the advicenator_admin. Lately I've been receiving more requests to have people monitor the site for unsuitable content. Some people would rather give bad advice. I haven't cared much before, I mean, annoying questions are a problem because everyone reads those, but not everyone reads every advice column so who cares how bad it is? I look at advice columns like your own websites... unless it's really hateful, I see no need to try to ban people. Plus, so far when a columnist joins and decides it's funny to slam everyone and be mean, they've gotten sick of it after ten questions or so. No need to pick a fight when they're dropping out anyway.
What do you all think? Should we ban people with really awful columns? Not display columnists with really low ratings? Ignore everything, and just let the site run free? I want to know what everybody thinks.
I have given bad advice only once but, I think we should'nt give bad advice intentionally because, I really want to help people . I don't think people should be banned because, we all make mistakes in our life and we learn from them . What we learn from in this situation is well I don't know . But I do know that the advice columnist who gave bad advice will have a bad reputation .So in a way, that is a lesson they will learn .
hi ive had 8 one night stands most potected and i have decided to change my life around i thought i would get some test done for aids or sexual dieses im only 16 and very scared i just want to no what happens its it taken by blood tests or wot help!!!!!
It's great that you want to change . If you want to get blood tests done , I advise you to go to a clenic of some kind that's located in your community . If you want it to be confidential,then tell the doctor this . They will take blood test and they will probably get a sample of your urine . Don't worry .
My sister, who is almost 20 years old, is with a guy who is totally wrong for her. He never takes her out on dates, or buys her anything, (not meaning that material things are that important but come on...), and the second she gets her paycheck he turns around with his hand out, telling her that he deserves some money for some reason or another. She is in college right now, and I can tell that this guy is ruining her life. She has dropped a lot of classes just because she doesn't have time for them because she has to go help him with his kid (from a previous relationship)or some other chore that she really has nothing to do with. He wont let her hang out with her old friends, because they might make her "disloyal" to him, in his opinion. I keep telling her that she needs to back off and find a better guy who has her interests at heart, but her response is "you haven't been in a relationship like tihs, when you're in love you have to make certain sacrifices" I don't know, maybe it's just my opinion, but when you're in love, you normally don't break up at least twice a week. (4 times so far since the beginning of April...today is the seventh...) Am I overacting or am I right in trying to convince her to ditch the guy? And how do I go about convincing her?

Concerned sister, you need to tell your sister how you feel but break it down easy to her . Tell her she doesn't have to be devoted to this guy like this because, he's not fully devoted to her.
Tell her that she needs to stop seeing this guy because, he has kids . Those kids are his responsibility not hers . He's the one who had them . Tell her not to give up her college classes because, this guy is not worth it . He doesn't even care . She is very dedicated to him but she has to let him go . Break this down easy to her . Can you buy birth control pills over the counter or do I need a doctor's prescription before I can get it?
I have never done this sort of thing before , but I do know that if you go to a store you can buy condoms and birth control pills not over the counter . You don't have to have a perscription from your doctor . Now you could go to a clenic and ask for birth prevention things and stuff like that when you need that stuff . If you have questions though , you need to ask your parents or your doctor about this . I asked my parents about this that is why I know so much when it come to protection .
My daughter is currently 13 years old. She's fairly mature and doesn't dress slutty. Now, she has liked this guy for about half a year. Today, he asked her out. They want to go see a movie with another couple their age on monday. I don't know if I should let her go. What is your stance on this? Is 13 too young to be dating?
It really depends on what type of person you think your daughter is . I would let my daughter go out with this guy because, she's not going to be young forever . She's not going to be daddy's little girl any longer . So let them go , but have a time where she should be home or a time and a specific place where she should be when picking your daughter up . Lay down some rules but not strict rules . AND DON'T FOLLOW THEM . There's a group of girls at my school who have been cutting themselves. I talked to my counseler and he said that it was the right thing to tell him, and he would have me remain anonomys. One of the girls and she found out from my counseler. She got mad at me, and she said that I should mind my own buisness. Was she right, or was that the right thing to do?!? Please help!!!!!!!!!

Right now, the girls will tell you that you should of "minded your own buisness" , but later they will realize that you were trying to help . Later they might come up to you and say thankyou . What you did was the right thing to do,and you should be proud of yourself . Even if the girls don't come and tell you they will think about what you've done and how much you helped them because, first - cutting, and second is suicide attempts . Third if the person is really serious, they do commit suicide . You did the right thing so dipping in her buisness was the right thing to do . You should be proud .

You have to understand that he's your boyfriend and in matters like this, he's going to be worried about his girl . If you really want him to chill, tell him that when you feel like opening up- you will . Tell him to give you some space when discussing the whole suicide topic . Tell him how it makes you feel . Maybe that will help you some .

Your girlfriend tried to commit suicide like so many others before her and after her . What you got to understand is that she doesn't need you pressuring her . She needs you to understand her .She needs someone who she can talk to on her on terms which means when translated when she is ready to open up to you . I know you are worried , but pressuring her like this could make matters worse . Think about how you would feel if you were in this situation . Give her time .

I know how you feel because, when I'm alone I feel that same way . Maybe we want someone to be there with us . Someone gentle and nice, and someone to talk too. But I tell you that this is normal because, everyone once in their life has felt like they have been watched before .

If you are the forgiving type bring it to his attention, but if your not that type break it off before he does . You'll have pride and dignity left over . Some advice : If you know he is cheating , and he lies to you about it , break the relationship off . No honey you are not crazy . I was wrong to say that you were I was just stunned and my mind was racing and I didn't know exactly what to say . It's normal for everyone to feel like they hate their self because, at times I feel this way . You have to learn how to deal with pressure though. It seems like you are the type who keeps everything bottled up inside . At times you just have to let it go . It'll drive you crazy . Trust me I know . Your situation was so close to my situation(although I've never tried to kill myself) , and thats why I responded the way I did . I use to think I was crazy . Please forgive me for my rudeness . I'm 15 and weigh 110 pounds. I think that's OK for me, because I'm about 5'3". But, some of my family thinks that I'm anorexic, just because I don't eat a lot of meat & stuff at family gatherings. Like, my grandma will be like "Oh I'm so glad you're actually eating!" When I'm like the biggest pig! I hate people thinking that I have an eating disorder, what should I do?

i've been really unhappy all my life anmd i put it to my dad dieing and school. i now getting homeschoolded but still so unhappy i think im still greaving my dad i am not allowed to talk about him any more and have not friends around to keep his memory alive. Honey, I know what it feels like to loose someone who is really special to you, but you got to let it go . You have to let him go . He has to move on, and your keeping him where he is . It's not going to be easy, but your really toturing yourself . Your really killing yourself slowly .
It's been 10 years sense his passing . You should live your life . Finish school, go to college , graduate and make your daddy proud . Ok, so I am a girl, and I used to hang out with this guy I know. He was really nice, and we are interested in exactly the same things- computers and fantasy. He's a lot older than I am, and not many people his age like those things- they're mostly into makeup, boys, etc. Since he's so much older than I am, it never occured to me that we could be an item- but then one day, he made the love sign to me behind his back! I tried to ask him about it, but it was a total disaster and I probably embarassed him a lot. He denied it, but I think he does like me. What should I do?
I think you should tell him how you feel straight from your heart .Tell him how he gets you and tell him how you and him have so much in common . But be careful and don't expect him to say "I love you" . It takes men some time to open uo and
maybe a little time is what he need . Don't pressure him because, you'll run him away and if you really care about him you wouldn't do that .
Tell him what you feel and if he doesn't respond then, give him some time .
