I've been getting a lot of pressure from my mother to do really well in school. I really do try my hardest, and getting a bad grade makes me upset. But she seems to think that I'm not smart enough. Which, by the way, is not true at all. All of my classes are honors. However, I'm just not that good at math and science. I never have been. She yells at me everytime i get a bad grade, when all I need is support. I've tried to tell her that she's not helping me at all, but she just gets madder.
I just started to cut myself, and I'm trying to stop. But her pressure was part of the things that made me do it. It's that bad.
What can I do?
hey, well cutting yourself is not good. you need to ocupy yourself with something so that you dont think about wanting to cut yourself. examples: friends, family, whatever. try not to be along and if you are try to keep all sharp objects away from you. as for the grades, in math and science stay after school and get extra help.

hey, continuesly hooking up with someone that you have feelings for is never a good idea. to guys that dont have feelings for you back: a hookup is a hookup and means absolutely nothing. hooking up with him IS NOT going to change how he feels about you at all. your just going to wound up hurt. i would just either a) stay strictly friends with him or b) just stop talking to him all together to avoid the pain of knowing that he isnt interested.

hey, well pretty much everyone has love handles. i only weigh 100 pounds and i have them also. there really not as bad as you think. just excercise and try to stay fit. hopefully they will shrink a little, but thats all your going to be able to go down too.

hey, tampons are really notas scary as they seem/sound, i promise you. if you get tampax petite sized tampons, there are directions in the box on how to insert a tampon. thats how i first learned. there may be directions in every box, but im not sure. you can leave it in for 4-8 hours. putting in a tampon for the first time may hurt, considering your not used to having things up there. as you get used to it, you dont even notice that its there anymore. you can swim with it in and there will be no leaks, as long as you change it and dont let it overflow. there are also other tampon facts on the directions in the box. there is a disease called [tts] toxcis shock syndrome that you should be aware of.

OK, so im newly single, and very glad that im divorced!! My ex is now going steady with another women, and we have childreen of the ages 5, 4, and 2. I was just wondering how to tell my kids that mammy and daddy dont love eachither any more, and daddy loves another women, that not mommy. I know i shouldn't no, i couldnt lie to them because i love them too much, but i dont want to see them hurt. They have started to ask questions, but ive tried to change the subject because i didnt know what to say. I love my kids dearly, but i want them to know the truth without being hurt.. oh, and if it helps my ex-husband and i have offically been divorced for 5 days, he moved out 2 days ago.. We got divorced because he was cheating on me, and it has taken 2 months to get all the papers sorted out.
hey, well my parents divorced when i was eight years old. it was very hard for me. my mother keep lying to me and avoiding the truth. the best thing for the kids is sitting them all down together and telling them. be there for them if they need to talk and answer all questions. dont lie about the questions either. get through this as a family.
a little weird, but whenever i shave down south i get like red bumps where like my underwear line would go.. and sometimes it gets itchy... is there anything i can use to help with this?

hey, well what i do is i use a venus razor. those are the best and get you a pretty close shave. you always must use shaving cream. skintimate "baby soft" is the best. you can get it at walgreens, cvs, or any of those types of places. its in a light blue bottle and makes your area very soft! the red bumps are probably razor burn, so take it easy. dont shave everyday because then you will get ingrown hairs. shave every other day or when your going out where there will be guys.

Background: I love her. I had to move last year for my work, but I made her the pledge that I would love her forever. As one of the things we did- I opened a joint back account with her- where part of my paycheck every 2 weeks would be deposited into that account. We "broke" up two months later. That account never closed. She started dating someone else. Now- she's using that account and now is spending like there's no tomorrow- 3300 dollars in 5 weeks.
But I still love her- and I can't close the account. What should I do? I don't know how to confront her if I should. I'm a fool.
hey, well i know that you love her, but if she loved you back, she wouldnt do that to you. what i mean by do that to you is by using 3300 dollars in 5 weeks. shes abusing the account, your trust, and you yourself. as much as it hurts to close the account, you need to. explain to her the reasoning for closing it politely. be the better person and dont flip out on her.

should you put gel on when your hair is wet or dry?
hey, im not trying to diss the persons advice below me, but putting gel in your hair when its dry is a big no no. it will make your hair extremely frizzy and it wont hold the look at all. towel dry your hair, just so its not dripping wet. then you can apply the gel.

hey, well sometimes things just never get the same. then again, sometimes they do. if your going to get things back to the way that they were, its going to have to be an effort on both of your parts. its never going to work if its only you working at it. you need to have a talk with him whether its on AIM, on the phone, or face to face. tell him that you miss the way that things were and are hoping to get back into communication. dont say that you want to get back together or anything that would scare him off. just make him think that your just talking about a friendship, then slowly if things are on good terms, start flirting. if everything keeps going good, things will return back to normal.
