I'm going to be doing some waitressing soon. I've worked with the company before so I know that we have to dress all black.

It's a catering company so does all different jobs, but I know that the one we're doing is going to be quite glamourous, with a lot of people.

I'm not sure what to wear. How do I do my hair and makeup?
What about jewellery and shoes? I'm one of the youngest waitresses and very short as it is, so heels would make me look taller, but I can also be quite clumsy and I don't want to drop things.

What do you think?

I've done some assistant, temp waitressing before, and the number one thing concerning shoes is to get flats, no heels unless you are completely and totally able to walk in them stably. Look for flats with NONSKID soles. I cannot even being to express how important this is. On my first day of the job, I tripped and spilled chips and salsa ALL over me. It was horrible. The cause of my fall were the shoes. Consider getting hot pads [for your hands], and start practicing on carrying multiple plates. You will be using your wrists most definitely to carry the extra plates that don't fit into your hands.

I liked the other columnists ideas; girls always and still are crazy about jewelry. Just a side note: Helzberg Diamonds is having a huge Valentines sale. I saw a necklace for $20 in their catalog that looked like a $300 necklace. There were many options, including one engraved with: 'To the world You may be one person, but to me you are the world'. If she is religious, you can get her a pendant with a cross on it.

You have many options, but you should definitely pay Helzberg Diamonds a visit and talk to their associates about your budget.

For my birthday I got an iPod Classic ( :D :D )
I was wondering, how can I copy dvd's to my computer, and then to iTunes? I know that you can put videos onto the iPod (duh)

Physical? When one does a sport, the school asks one to get a physical from a doctor. What do they ask you?

Just ask your mom/dad/whoever to schedule a doctor's appointment for you, and once you get there, ask the doctor if you can have a physical. Your parents and the doc should fill it out. It just lets the school know if you have anything that can keep you from playing the sport [and that it is verified for your doctor].

I logged off of AIM on my phone. ive been logged off for about 3 weeks. however, when i log into aim on my computer, it has a group that says "Mobile Device" in my buddylist window.

I think that all the ims i do on the computer are charging to my cell because i'm not completely logged off on my cell. ive tried logging back onto my cell and then logging off. ive tried logging onto another screenname on my cell. and ive tried uninstalling aim on my comp and reinstalling it. nothing seems to be working.
Any suggestions?

Hi im 14/f and i want dead straight hair but without using straightners or heat does anyone know how to get straight hair any hairdrying techniques or special things to use thanks a lot!!!

I have naturally relaxed/straight hair, and I found a very useful technique that is very simple and doesn't require a straightener.

Just blow dry your hair like regular, take your brush, and put it underneath your hair, brush it INWARD, so that it looks kind of flipped in [just a little]. Many girls ask me if I straighten my hair, and I'm proud to say 'no'. :)
