my name is Rachel strickland and iam 17 years old and iam sorry if this in the wrong category but i didn't know weather to put this in school or parenting so i put under parenting but anyways lets get to the point of things.my mom works in the lunchroom at school so at the end of the day when the bell rang I figured like she always does she would wait for me in the cafetiria like i said she always does this and she wasn't there so i looked in the kitchen becouse sometimes she goes into the kitchen to clean up a little bit while she waits again she wasn't there so i looked in the media center sometimes she goes in there to get a magazine or a newspaper to read while she waits for me again she wasn't there so i begane to get scared even though iam 17 i don't like the idea of being by myself or my mom forgetting me anywhere becouse my dad died when i was 12 and ever since then i haver real bad anxiety attacks so anyway I waited outside for about an hour and half becouse if figured my mom had to do go pick up my 5 year old niece and 3 year old nephew from school first I understand that my niece and nephew have to come before i do becouse they are younger than me but what me mad was i got tired of waiting for 30 minutes outside so i went in and called my stepdad to com and get me he wouldn't come becouse he said he had to take somebody to work i thought he's 17 year old stepdaughter was more important than his social life so i began to get scared and upset so i told ok and hung up the phone and i started crying becouse this has never happened to me before ever so I went back outside to wait and i waited for about another hour so that was an hour and half waiting school gets out about 3:00pm and i waited about an hour and a half untill i got tired of waiting all day long like i was nothing so i started to walk home by myself when i don't like that anyways i got so nervous about walking about walking home my hands were cold and clamy and i started shaking my heart was beating really fast and i had a really bad headache and iwas still crying so by the time i got home my niece and nephew were on the floor playing like everything was ok i know they are only 5 and 3 so i wasn't mad with that what i was mad about to see my mom taking a nap on the couch I don't know why that made me so mad but it did so when my mom woke up i didn't wake her then becouse i needed to take a nap myself and get calmed down so i took a nap and when i woke up my mom was fixing dinner and then when she saw me she said i hi honey dinner's ready and then i said mom did you happen to forget something at school today like mabey your daughter and then she just said sorry like it was no big deal what should i do please help!!!!!!!!
I'm guessing your mom thinks you're more mature unlike your niece and nephew. Just tell your mom how you feel. You're close to becoming an adult and you need to realise your mom isn't always going to be there for you. What are you going to do when your mom dies. Its a sad thing to think about but its gonna happen to all of us. She wants you to stand up on your own feet.

I use to babysit my cousin who has autism but then his mom my other cousin fired me becouse I lost him well i thought i did anyway.I looked all over the house for him and when I couldn't find him I got scared so i called my cousin and we got the whole family on a search for him all over the neighborhood when he was in the bathroom the whole time.
How can I make it up to them?
Tell them you're sorry and that this willnever happen again. Tell them that you fell so guilty and emmbarresed about what happened and tell reasons why you want a second chance

Well, in hospitals they have a babysitting program were you recieve a certificate wen you r done. Wen I started I copied the certificate and gave it to people I kno. If you cant find a hospital that does those things then juss print out flyers and wen people call tell them ur grades and how you can handle babysitting.

well... i would get him something practical but something to tell him you love 'em. well, you could get him:
1)a frame that has his and your name carved in wit a pic of you kissing (at things remembered)
2)juss tell him you love him
3)get him and you matching outfits
4)get him a card that explains what he means to you
5)get him a funny tee like: i'm a workaholic everytime i think about work i need a beer, or (your name)'s boyfriend

since like 9 this morning (its about two now) i have had a sharp, vertical stomach pain about 3 inches long right under my belly button that worsens when i stand up straight. does anyone know what this could be?
You could have a cyst like i did.sharp pain right near your ovarys is what you'll feel. If this is true tell your doctor right away. I know that it cost a lot but you could have cancer if you dont take care of this. I beg of you to tell your mom right away. PLEASE listen to me... you might need surgery but its all to help you.
my nephew constontally hists his sister what should I do?
first put him in time out and if that doesn't work then give him a LONG, boring lecture about why that is bad and if he continues to show him scary movies about abuse and why he shouldn't do it...it'll scare him so much

I'm 13/f, and so is my friend. we've known each other since we were 5..
she's lived across the street from me since the day we met, which is almost 9 years.. and her parents won't even let her sleep over my house.
now --
we're going to 3 different clubs next week. what lie should she tell her parents to let her go? she can't say "oh i'm sleeping over someone's house tonight! pick me up in the morning" because they don't let her sleep over ANY ONE'S house.
we expect to arrive at the clubs at 8:30 and leave around 11 and get home at 11:30 ..
we're going with her 16 year old cousin, who always sneaks out but never gets caught. so should my friend say she's sleeping over her cousin's house that night? give me ANYTHING you have because her parents give her the stupidest reasons for her not to go out.
Tell your friend to tell her mom that she's sleeping over her cousins. She'll never expect that you guys are going to clubs.

Take you're old clothes and sew them together to make a blanket. Then make a border of old clothes and hang it on the wall. You have a funky but hip room!

Girl, my rooms the same thing. Get a big bed and have it in white sheets. Then Add differ colors of pink for pillows. Add a funky light and you got a personalized room
Hi, my room is light green and white. Like the walls are light green & the trim & doors are white. Most of my furniture is white with green decorations and like everything in my room is green and white. So my question is, can I have multi-colored pillows or would it look stupid? (My comforter is light green & white stripes) because I have like ALOT of pillows but none are light green and white. oh and my bed is a daybed, so i usually put the pillows like all around it, like 20 of them and it looks good (the way they are arranged) but i dont know if i should get like 2 pillows that would match because thats all i can afford right now or use one sleeping pillow and none for decorations or what? thnx.

Okay, well, this July, I'm babysitting a 10-11 year old girl named Maggie. She's a cute kid, but there is one problem. She's completely hyper all the time. She gets nervous alot and really easily.
I just wanted to know if ya'll had any ideas for fun, quiet, easy-clean up games that will keep her situated for a while.
This is a FULL day job, twice a week, $50 a day. I know that seems a lot, but trust me, she's worth it.
ANYTHING that would help me with this will help me because I really need the money.

Ok so here's how it works, I babysit 3 kids, one is 11 year old girl, a 8 year old boy and another 5 year old girl. I constantly have my hands full. I watch my employers kids, I clean her hous, I do her dishes, and stay there all night, most of the time, she usually stays out and comes home the next day. How much should I charge her?
