Hi!!
I'm 16 but still in year 11 and I desperately want to move out. I have a job with a regular income (not huge but it's enough) and quite a bit of money saved up. Me and two of my friends want to move out and rent a house somewhere, but we don't know if anyone will rent to us!! Even though we're over 16, we're still in school and you can't get a full-time 'proper' job until you've finished year 11, so does anyone know if you can rent houses - and if you can, if anyone is willing to rent them to you! - before you finish year 11? Or will we have to wait until July, when the school year ends, despite our age?

you can't legally move out [ or sign on somewhere else to live ] until you're eighteen unless your legally emancipated, which is not easy to do, because you generally need a valid [ to the courts ] reason & have to be able to prove that you can support yourself. SO you're going to have to wait until you're eighteen unless you can get emancipated.

whenever i get my monthlies *i'm a girl* when i sleep i can't sleep with my back on the mattress because i'll get stains on places where the pad doesn't cover. so, my question is wut can i do to ensure that i won't get stains when i wake up like how i can position the pad or w/e stuff like that please help this is getting really annoying thanks

get the pads that are meant for nighttime & make sure to put it more in back, since you sleep on your back & i'm assuming that's where it's leaking. if you don't sleep for more than 8-9 hours, you can wear a tampon [ maybe WITH a pad ], and that should help a lot too.

i have to admit it: i am addicted. addicted to something i could not live without since the day my sister gave it to me. i'm only 13 and i'm already addicted to something. i've seen what it does to people to be totally obsessed with something, but with me, it was so easy to get obsessed with... SOUR STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if there's something sour around, I ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE IT!!! call me crazy (everyone else does!), but i am obsessed! while all my friends make weird faces when they take a lick of those warheads extreme stuff, i add lemon juice to make it more sour. i'm never satisfied! i even drink entire galssfuls of PURE lemon juice (nothing else added). i'm known for being really hyper as it is (i also have a laughing problem) and with all that sugar in sour candy... some kids are starting to joke around saying that i'm getting high. it's kind of funny but i honestly think that this could turn into a real problem. PLEASE HELP? don't say there's nothing wrong with this, because you have never seen me with sour candy within 50 feet away! and DONT tell me to give it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm not really sure what you're asking? you said you don't want to give it up, so i can't really give you much advice except for maybe you should try to cut down on the lemon juice especially [ i don't know if that's the same as giving it up to you or not ], because all the acid = pretty not good for you if you drink tons of it.

Okay, 5 seconds ago I just dropped the camera that I got this Christmas! I know it cost like..130 dollars, and it was the gift from my parents, unlike the other ones from 'santa' hha. Anyway, i dropped it, and now its all scratchy inside, and I got it to turn on..and it wont now. It sounds like pieces in the inside are juggling around. I unscrewed the top to see if anything was in there, but the bottom doesn't unscrew, so you can't take it off, so I don't know. Wtf do I do? I LOVE that DIGITAL camera, and my parents are gonna be soo pissed. Should I blame my cat? Be like, "I think the cat hit this off the table' or something. Omg, please help, my mom's gonna be home soon. PLUS, I'm supposed to bring it to school tomorrow. Oh man :(

It's probably still under warranty, so call the company & see what they'll do about it. [ tell them it just .. broke ] They'll probably have you send it in & they can fix it. Just tell your mom it had a litte accident, and i'm sure you won't get in trouble for it.

My sterio CD thing wont open. I have a Cd stuck in there and it won't open. i'm worried. Anyone know how i can get it to open? answer QUICKLY!

MFS is right, & that's a MUCH better idea than shoving things into the actual tray part & ruining things, so just do that.

About 5 days ago, i bought myself a lava lamp. On the package, it stated that i should let it go for 4-6 hours the first time i use it. I've done that and all, but now everytime i use it, it still takes 40-55 minutes to actually get going with the lava.


My question is, to all of you lava lamp experts, is will the "starting up" time get faster? Is there something i can do to make it go a little faster?

if you turn it on more often & don't leave it off for as long, it should start to get melty faster, but there's not anything you can do to make it get going in say, five minutes, it'll still take quite a while.

I have a friend who I want to take on vacation with me thi summer. Only I don't want my other friends to be hurt and mad. I have some friends who are very tepermental and stuff. Don't tell me not to tell them, because I know the secret will get out. What should i do???

Just tell them you could only pick one person, and it worked out that you picked her [ if you really want to, just tell them you drew names or something ]. If you don't like, sit there and talk about it constantly around them, they probably won't get mad, so just try not to bring it up all the time & things should be fine.

most non religious weddings, to my knowledge, are just at a courthouse, but i'm sure you can have some kind of ceremony just at the beach or at someone's house without a priest or anything where you make up your own things to say to each other & exchange rings and that .. but i still don't know how "non-religious" it is, because, well yeah, weddings are generally a religious thing. sorry i couldn't help more.

Hi guys,
Me and my husband have just moved into a new house...well, I say new, but it's actually ANCIENT. So ancient that we have no heating whatsoever!! The place was so expensive though that we can't afford to install heating for at least another year. The windows and doorways are all draughty too. So, my question is, as it is so cold at the moment, any tips of keeping warm other than the obvious 'put on another jumper'?

get space heaters & lots of fleece & down blankets, and get those little draft-blocker things. i really can't think of anything else .. sorry!!

ok heres my problemo. im really skinny -5'4 91- and i like it but for the most part i DON'T. its just fast matabolism and im pretty active and healthy but i look anorexic and everyone thinks that. i try to eat more to gain weight but ofcourse, i don't! what can i do?

talk to your doctor .. there could be some other cause [ thyroid problems, etc .. a friend of mine had one ], & even if there's not [ & i hope there isn't!! ], they can recommend a HEALTHY way for you to gain weight.

Hey Guys... I'm 17 Years old... and I've had unprotected sex with my boyfriend who ive been with for 5 months... I had my period the first of this month and it lasted about 5 days... and thats pretty normal... But my boobs are starting to hurt.. and I feel like I'm getting fatter... OK. I'm allergic to fake earings and it really sucks. I can't get those earings with fake silver that only cost a dollar anymore. Is there any way I can were fake earrings(not clip-ons) with getting a rash on my ear?

nope, not really. But claire's & kohl's & some other stores i'm sure sell sterling silver & something else .. i don't know what it is, but anyways, anything that says "sensitive solutions" or "for sensitive ears" should be fine, and a lot of it really isn't that expensive.
