The guy that I'm seeing is a real pig. He has a beer guy because he'll go out drinking all the time with his friends and down 12 beers. He farts all the time and has bad breath and body odor. He has red veigns on his nose from all his drinking. Also he dresses like he's thin, he'll wear tight jeans and t shirts but it looks ridicuous because he's about 30 pounds overweight.
It's really hard for me to get turned on by him. It's not just the way he looks sometimes he can be a real jerk. The last straw was when I phoned him on his cell on he told me to only phone him if it was after 6.
I want to dump him but I don't know how to go about it. Should I tell him that his appearance turns me off or would that be too mean? (link)

Well, if you really REALLY don't like him, it doesn't matter how you dump him. Tell him that you think he is a pig and you don't think you could go out w/ someone w/ that kind of behavior.

ok, so the the 5th day of sckool my friend said that on friday eric (the kid i like) said he liked me a little, and was going to ask me out! & then my other friend said eric said he wanted to meet me after sckool where no one was because he had to ask me something, but then he said never mind, & then he told me he liked my friend britt, but wed. he told me he doesnt like her anymore and likes someone new.. then also wed. in music, my friend derick goes if eric asked you would you say yes, and i said no because eric was right behind him && he doesnt know i like him, and then derick goes eric she said no, but i dont know if he was just jokin or not.. then today and yesturday eric kept tryin to start a convo with me but randomely they were all either about sckool or sayin how desperate britt was..then today my friend alexis said eric wants to ask shayna out.. but then at lunch i was sitten across from him and alexis goes do you still want to go out with shayna, and i was listening and he acted confused like what are you talking about? im so confused..advice needed urgently.. thank you 13/f (link)

Im asking for Dance Dance Revolution for PS2 for christmas. There are a few different versions such as extreme and Max and Kareoke. I know I dont want Kareoke, but Idk about extreme and max. What is the difference between them? Which is better?

I've played Extreme at an arcade, and I think that the different names are just to tell you that they are different from the last. But if you get extreme, I recommend the song "Senorita" on light mode! ;-)

I’m really into fashion and my parents know that. My mom and I have talked about me going to an art school before and she wouldn't mind if I did. I have a very good chance of getting into UCLA but there is one problem--my dad. He refuses to let me go to an art school. He wants me to go to UT (Texas) which is where he went. I'm in the top 10% of my class so I'm in automatically there. He told me that in the end it was my decision but if I decided to go to UCLA then he wouldn't pay for it. UCLA is an expensive school and it'll be even more since I'll be coming in out of state and I won't be able to pay for it on my own. I need my dad. I tried to get my mom to talk to him about it but it didn't help. So now I don't know what to do-- go to UCLA and pay for it on my own (which I most likely be able to do) or go to UT and have my dad pay for it. What do you think? (link)

UCLA. Definitely. It's not his dream, it's yours. You do what is in your heart. It's a shame to see money go when your dad could have paid for it, but you should go to UCLA. Also, talk to your dad. Tell him that this is your dream that you want to go after, and not his. Tell him that you want to succed your way.

okay. i really need my braces off. like i got them in 6th grade. and im now a freshman! i dont wear my elastics, and if i wear them they'll come off. and to those that have already had elastics and braces, approx. how long will it take for my teeth to not have an over bite anymore? i really need my braces off!!!! I also have them, and I just got them in March, and my orthodontist said that I'm getting them off early, aka probably this summer. And if you have your elastics already, pretty soon if you just keep wearing the elastics. I'm pretty darn sure that after 3 years they will be off.

Wow... I feel totally terrible for you. I think that you should talk to him, and tell ask him why he is w/ your BFF if he likes you? Maybe he just means that he likes you as a person. If you're sure that he likes you, then I think it would be safer to wait for them to break up. After the fact, tell your BFF that you like her ex and that he wants to hang out w/ you, and you are telling her this b/c you want to make sure that she is okay w/ the prospect that you guys might go out sometime. I know this might not help you, but please consider this answer.

Actually I have two problems...1) I still like my ex-boyfriend and Im not sure if he likes me. Some of my freinds say he does, and I dont want to ask him because I might get hurt and then he might not want to hang out anymore. But I dont want to loose my chance. What should i do?
2) Whever Im around the guy I like, my friend feels left out. And I dont like them to feel that way. But he really doesnt like him that much, so I cant get them to hang out. What should i do?

(1) From what you're saying, it looks like you already hang out w/ him. In that case, while you're talking to each other, bring up some memories of when you were together, and then ask him if he misses those times at all. If he says no, then just say something like "Yeah, we're pretty much cool right now." If he says yes, agree and then tell him that you have feelings for him.
(2) I think that you and your friend should hang out a lot, and then hang out w/ the guy you like separately. When you're out w/ each of them, bring up something about nice about the other one. Keep doing this, about once each time, and maybe they'll seem to like the prospect of hanging out w/ each other.

Hey guys..well i have a question..obviously. Im obsessed with the band Good Charlotte, and have been for about 4 or 5 years..but people always tell me stuff. Im tired of them thinking my music sucks more then theirs because its not "poser" music. I feel like i got more balls then THEY DO cause its harder to admit you like music that will get people to tell you crap the it is to be the crap talker. What should i do? (link)

Try to think: do they really care about what music I listen to? I've been on this site that thinks that if "their" music (MCR, the used, panic! at the disco...) goes mainstream, or "poser", then they should stop listening to it. Which is way weirder than anything I've ever heard, but anyways... if they start saying "Oh, I hate Good Charlotte. They suck.", then say "I don't think so. What makes you think that?" Debate it. It's not so bad to argue over music. I get people who tell me that Jesse McCartney sucks butt and is ugly, but I don't care. I just say "NO WAY!" or I smile and say "Yay! Now he's all mine!" as a joke. It usually works out, and when people get obsessive, they don't really mean to hate you if your opinions differ from each other. They just start yelling. So, don't be scared. Tell them what you like. :)
