Call them, email them, communicate with them somehow. Another good idea is to ask them if they'd like to be your pen pal via snail mail. I believe that people today fail to notice how much more personal good ol' fashined pen on paper is compared to cramped up fingers on typewriter. Otherwise it might be wise to just make new friends so you don't miss your friend at home so much.

I think that you should forget about a relationship with her. If she's sad and emo about things in her life then she's most likely not ready for a relationship. It sounds like right now she needs more love than she can give. If it makes you sad just talking to her then i can't imagine how you can imagine yourself happy with her. Forget a relationship, but consider being there for her as a friend.


Ok so i'm 14 im 5'2 about 104 pounds. Ok well my problem is that i want my stomach to be flat and look good i mean its pretty much flat now but i have that band under my belly button. How do i fix this problem? (link)
Run a few miles a day or consider joining a highschool sport. If you've never played any sports before, consider waterpolo because it's very open and most players don't start until highschool anyways. It's hard to make just your abs in shape. If you want to look good you have to tone your whole body.

I'm gunna be a freshman next year, and I need some ideas about what to wear on the first day of school. I guess I wear"preppy" clothes like American Eagle and Abercrombie. But it really doesnt matter to me. But, I'm open for any kind of clothes, and any kind of suggestions. You dont have to give me brands or anything. General would work too. For example"long sleeve shirt and a skirt" or whatever. Thanks sooo much. xoxo

I have pretty dark brown hair, almost black. And when I shave my underarms i shave all the hair off, but there is still little black dots or tiny stubble. Even with a new razor. Is there a way to shave so my underarms wont have that? Also, about how many shaves, does a good 3 blade disposable razor have in it, before it gets dull and needs to be thrown away? Thanks for your help!

Use lotion while shaving instead of normal shaving cream and it works better (for me at least). I use Venus razors and they can be used about 30 times or so. Just be sure to clean your razor after use every time otherwise the blades will get rusty and unsanitary... pretty nasty stuff.


so.. i bought like 14 apples the other day. (the other day being two days ago). well, i ate one yesterday, and i made apple pie today. how many oranges should i get if i want to match the exact weight of the 7 apples i don't have anymore? and does it matter what brand of socks one buys when shopping for shoe cleaner? If you want to do it the hard way, I'd advise you to buy about.. hmmm 16 oranges because sixteen is my lucky number. Use any brand of sock except for Nike because Nike socks are too awesome to ever be used to clean shoes. However, the obvious answer to this question is easy; simply GIVE ALL YOUR MONEY that you would have spent on oranges, socks and shoe cleaner TO ME!


Ive always had low self-esteem but for the past few weeks it has really hit a high point. About two weeks ago I ate too much after being on a great diet and losing almost 15 pounds and I weighed myself for the first time then since I had lost weight and i already gained 2 pounds back. I know it wasnt much but it made me so upset that I decided that I would just throw it up and just not eat for the rest of the night. Since then its become a habit. Ill eat a regular sized meal and then throw it up, eat later in the day, keep it and just not eat again. Some days I dont eat at all because I know that I will just want to throw it up later. I really scared myself and Ive been okay for the past few days, but I dont want to feel like I need to throw up again. I know the health issues with it and I know it is very damaging both physically and mentally. I dont want my mom to worry about me any more than she already has to, shes dealing with a lot of stress right now and so I was just wondering if there are any ways that would help me to deal with this or if there is anywhere I could get help. I used to be bulimic... and truthfully I didn't stop until I realized what other effects it started having on my body other than just helping me "lose weight". Your back teeth will start to deteriorate and your stomach will have a harder time digesting certain things. Also, another bad side-effect that I got was having a horrible barfing reflex so I'd end up puking even when I didn't want to. Force yourself to stop before you start to notice all the bad stuff that follows emptying your tummy.

If you don't think that she wants to start anything before college then you probably shouldn't try starting anything. It'd be best if you just hid your feelings until you found out more about the way she feels about you. Hang out with her a lot and make sure that she knows that you're a wonderful friend, because most girls like knowing guys pretty well before considering them any more than just buddies.

However, if you're willing to take the risk, then feel free to tell her how you feel. Just be prepared for her reaction whether it be good or bad.

First of all, it might be a good idea to get a haircut or at least a trim to get rid of all your split ends. Use shampoo and conditioner daily; however don't overuse. Don't shower more than once a day because it's bad for your hair. You should use a conditioner that fits your hair type. I use thermasilk and it works really well for me.

Even though eating would make your thighs larger, it'd probably make the rest of your body larger, too. Other than running, you could try sports and working out. Even though physical discipline is a pain, hard work pays off and athletic bods are hot.

Hahaha! Actually... I'm not a "professional" gambler, but I do make money off of it. The strategy is to always know your odds of winning and losing. Although a lot of gambling is based on pure luck, knowing your odds of winning and losing will make the difference in the long run. If you play in casinos, your best bet at making any money is to hit the tables and play something that you're good at. It's always good to know how to play craps because craps is the game at casinos with the highest payoff for the players and the odds of you winning there are much higher than well... let's say video poker. If you play Holdem, I'd advise you to only play with your friends because in casinos, holdem can be pretty brutal. Pretty much, all I can say is that gambling is mostely based on how well you know your math, how good your memory is, and whether or not you're capable of "counting cards". If you don't know what you're doing, and you end up making money anyways, then it was just out of luck. I hope that I've helped, and if you'd like to learn any strategies to gambling, you should search for them online. There are too many existing strategies to write in this short advice letter. I turned vegetarian a couple of weeks ago. Just today I woke up with a really high fever, and I feel like i'm going to throw up.
Is my body going into shock or something?

If you have a fever you're probably just coming down with the cold/flu because that's been going around a lot lately since it's spring time. If you continue to have this problem, I'd see a doctor and ask for professional advice.

Compliment the person whose yearbook you're signing! Whenever anyone signs my yearbook, my favorite ones to read are the personal ones that sound like they weren't the same 'ol default message that says something along the lines of "Gave a great summer! It was great being in your english class!" etc etc. Try saying something that you love about that person to make them feel good.

She's probably just making up excuses because of the breakup. I'd say, yes, it is just a way to get out of a relationship. Just ignore it and move on.

RICE!!! Relax, Ice, Comfort, and Elevate. Icing and elevating might not seem like they do much, but they really make the difference. Ice for 10 minute intervals about 4 times a day for the first few days until the swelling goes down a bit and your bruising changes to a less painful looking color. Wrap your ankle with sports tape, use crutches if you can't bend your ank and if it's swollen, don't try forcing your foot into closed toed shoes. Approximately 2-3 days after RICE, you can start heating your ankle, too. If you have a heat pad, try heating for approx ten minutes after you ice. When wrapping, start from behind the ballz of your feet and move upwards so help bruising disappear. Once you can start walking normally with no limp, exercise at least twice a day to minimize the damage and to strengthen your ankle muscles. If you can't figure out how to exercise it, or if you think it's healing the wrong way, consider physical therapy.
