Question Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 5:01 pm

so i liked this girl pretty much throughout highschool, but it never went anywhere. a couple of dates to dances but that is about it. she always has sad things in her profile, and i want to help her but she never tells me anything about it. and whenever i talk to her it makes me sad, but i keep talking to her. what should i do about it? try to forget about her and move on? or keep trying? i dont know. i'm so confused.

I think that you should forget about a relationship with her. If she's sad and emo about things in her life then she's most likely not ready for a relationship. It sounds like right now she needs more love than she can give. If it makes you sad just talking to her then i can't imagine how you can imagine yourself happy with her. Forget a relationship, but consider being there for her as a friend.
