I use Neutrogena Build-a-Tan. It gives you a darker shade the move you apply it. You can control how you go so you don't end up orange. It does really well for me and doesn't harm your skin.

well there`s this stuff that my friend jessica uses,
[ she has really bad skin pigment so she looks albino but she really isn`t... ]
it`s called Touch Of Sun by Olay i think,
you can buy it at like CVS or Walgreen`s ect.
she`s been using it for like 3 weeks now, and she actually is tanner than me. :]
and it works gradualy, so it doesn`t look orange or fake.
Hope I Helped. =) ]
Jergens Natural Glow is the best that Ive tried. :]

And no, self tanners wont hurt your skin. Theyre actually better to use than to tan naturally which can give you skin cancer & damage your skins appearance. ]
get a decent taning oil, it works best
dont go to salons XP ]
