Q: I have a guy friend that I've known my entire life (he's my neigbor) and I've always had this want to maybe be more than friends.
For a while I thought I had a crush on him...but I told him and he said we have known each other too long, so I figured that maybe I didn't really have a crush on him. Soon after he got a girlfriend.
That was one year ago...they're broken up now. He asked me just as a random question if I would date him and told him I probably would...but his response was "I'm flattered, and I would probably date you too if I had the chance, but it would probably be too awkward. We've known each other too long..."
Ugh, I don't know what to think anymore. My friends say they see sparks between us, and I have questioned it myself...but I don't know if he'll ever give it a chance.
Maybe we're not made for each other...but I wish he would give it a chance and see if there ARE sparks...Yet, at the same time I don't want to ruin what he have.
What should I do?

In my opinion, I think that he does want to go out with you, and give it a shot, it is just that he is probably too shy to ask you. I think that you shoudl tell him, I will go out with you if you ask me. Say if you guys break up that things wouldn't change. And that knowing each other for a long time will just make the relationship stronger. Also you can say that life has been passing you by because you were too afraid to take risks and play it safe..that really gets them because then they realize that they haven't really been living. Thats so cute! Yes girls love having secret admirers. But I think after you get her the present, tell her who it is from..mabye like later that day or that week. Q: I'm around 5'2" and I'm pretty comfortable with my height. However, I have 34 D boobs. Now, most girls might like this, but they are extremely unporportional to my body which the doc said won't grow any taller. I feel like whenever a tall guy talks to me he looks down my shirt. I've heard guys say things about it to, and sometimes I feel like all they are trying to do is get a peek at my chest. What do I do?!?

The doctor only told you that you won't grow any taller than 5'2 becuase that is the height at which you were estimated to grow at..you know..natural growth. You can totally exceed 5'2 if you drink alot of milk, eat your vitamins, and vegetables. So, if you are uncomfortable with guys looking down your shirt, you could always try to grow taller, or wear heels. Also, any guy that wouldn't be interested in you, and only about whats inside your shirt isn't worth your time and energy. That special guy will come for you. And on your wedding night..he will be like. WOAH! WHERE DID THOSE COME FROM! haha. hopei helped you cheer up!

Q: For school I need to read 25 personal books over the entire year. So, I chose to read series that I'll actually enjoy. I'm onto the third book of "The A-List Series", & I just started "The It Girl" I enjoy those really overly dramatic, girly, set-in-Beverly-Hills type books. Can anyone recomend another type of series like those two (besides Gossip Girl) that might catch my interest? I'll rate, thanks.

I had the exact same problem. My mom then told me to take a flinstone vitamin everyday because she said my body lacked certain vitamins. And she also said to drink more water. Now its great, i am not tired anymore!

Q: I have pimples here and there. I have tried like almost everything. Proactive doesn’t work for me so don’t say that! Here is a simple home solution:
-wash your face in the morning, afternoon, and at night with just water. do NOT scrub, just circular motions to get the dirt off.
-do not put your hands on your face, your hands attract alot of dirt and putting them on your face will clog your pores.
-drink alot of water. it will cleanse the face. i reccomend at least 3 bottles. if you can only drink two that is fine.
-try to stay off of sugar for about a week. all the sugar and junk food that goes into your body clogs the poors.
my mom told me to do this and it worked wonderful. my face cleared up in about 1-2 weeks.

I actually just made out with my bf for the first time yesterday at a movie. I was pretty scared about it too at first..but when he kissed me it got really natural. But just make sure you open your mouth wide enough so that you don't bite his tounge lol cause i think i bit him hehe. You first kiss normally then you open your mouth. You know when he wants to make out if he keeps looking at you and unconsciously licks his lips and stuff. You will know when it happens. Make sure to wear chapstick or lipgloss and to brush ur teeth. Q: For school, we had to read the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee and I really didn't like it. Not to sound shallow or immature or anything, but the whole racism theme was rather dull (not saying that racism is dull, but I mean that it's dull to read about when you could be reading other things. If you want to read about racism, go take a History class and learn about it from a text book), and the background setting of a dusty little town in Alabama and the boring, nosy, gossipy people without lives was not appealing. It's not exciting to read about. And Scout wasn't a realistic person. I mean, what 7-year-old uses words like "morphodite"? Take Les Miserables, it's about redemption and is very dramatic and exciting---a renounced thief on the run.I am the only person in the whole grade who didn't like TKAM. Whenever I talk to anyone about it they always go "OMFG I LOVED IT HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE TKAM?!" Now, we have to write an essay about whether we liked it, and saying that it was not appealing and Scout is not realistic is not tangeable. She'll say it's off-topic and has nothing to do with the meaning of the book. I understand the meaning of the book, but I still don't like it. I talked to my dad and he just said that I'm not mature enough for such advanced literature, which is not true. What am I supposed to do?!

IF you honestly did not like the book, choose the side of the essay: I did not like this book because..ect. Make sure your teacher knows that you are mature enough for such advanced literature, not just a kid who does not want to look at the deeper meaning of things. Back up your opinions with strong supporting details. Do not just bash the book. Cite your examples from the book and make it look like an essay that was written by a student with an upper level education. I also read that book so if you need any help feel free to ask! Q: I have a problem, and it's very bad. Sometimes I just want to cry and cry forver. I have a phobia of not being perfect. I need perfect grades, perfect friends, perfect face, prefect body, perfect breast, perfect family, perfect house, perfect life. I don't know what to do. I always feel so ugly, and that no one likes me. Yet I am very popular in school and have lots of friends. I go to parties every weekend... and try to live the classic Hollister & Ambercrombie California barbie. I'm pretty good at it too, except for my confidence. I'm 5'3" and weigh 103 pounds and am constantly worrying about my body. Everyday I will look in front of my mirror with nothing on and just look at my body and cry. I'm fat, no breast, no butt, my face is too big, my arms are to skinny, but nose is to big, my chinis ugly. I have a dissorder adn I don't know what to do. Sometimes I just think if i should throw up after meals... but the thing is i don't know why i should. Everybody thinks my life is great and perfect... but it's not. I'm so unhappy about everything, I hate my life sometimes i just want to die. What is your advice? Should I stick with my dream of being perfect and plan my plastic surgeries when I get older adn stick with my studies. Or shoudl O let go? Should I go to councilling, please help... I'm so confused!

Everybody is unsecure about themselves. When you look in the mirror, everybody looks at their faults, not at the beautiful aspects of themselves. Trust me, I had this problem for a long time. Don't worry about your body, you WILL fill out. I PROMISE! You are only 13! Your body is still growing. There is no need for plastic surgery. You do not need counciling either. Just look in the mirror and point out the positive aspects and tell yourself over and over that you are beautiful, because you are. And as for your phobia, it is called being a perfectionist. There is nothing wrong with that, just realize that nobody is perfect, and you can not set impossible standards for yourself.
