just find something you have in common. DONT pretend to like what he likes if you dont. its good to be honest about what you like. you can have little minnie debates about your differences which can be interesting. for example, my boyfriend loves nascar..but i think its boring. so we are always arguing about it..but i always end up letting him watch a little bit of it. so basically..find stuff in commom..but embrace differences as well. =).

dear friends, well, will some intelligent grammar expert tell me, why in american english there is somtimes the omission of letter 'u' eg- color, neighbor etc, why are the pronounciations different, eg- schedule is pronounced as skedule instead of shedule ( are you getting me). please explain. its just a different dialect. its like that with every language..especially when the countries that speak it aren't so close. it also happens in different regions of countries with accents. notice that americans and english have different accents?

i think everyone probably covered most of it..i didn't read all the answers though.
THIS IS IMPORTANT!
when you first get them you will be really good at taking care of them and cleaning them (at least i was) KEEP IT UP! i got lazy and didnt clean them all the time..like i just would put them away in the solution and then put them back in..but stuff builds up! then when you put them back in your eyes it makes all the guck build up on the back of your eyelid...which cant be reversed. so make sure you clean them well! i have developed this yucky thing..you cant really tell that i have it..but if i continue..it could become a problem. also ask about like this hydrogen peroxide-ish stuff. its like super duper cleaner. you put your contacts in this little contraption and you fill it with the hydrogen peroxide stuff and it bubbles! its so fun to watch. hehe. but then you don't have to rub them or clean them at all..it does it all for you. so ask about a "no rub solution". its great. but DONT PUT IT IN YOUR EYES..it stings like heck. the case turns it into regular saline over night that wont hurt your eyes.

don't listen to that other answer, please. there is a possiblity that he likes you. or else i think he SHOULD like you since you know each other so well and he can be his crazy crazy self around you. lol. the only way to find out it to ask him. i know sounds scary..but, wait do you like him? if you dont then don't worry about it unless he tells you he likes you, then thats a different story. if you like him, asking is the way to go. you dont even have to tell him your feelings. just say "it seems like you might have feelings for me, is this true?"

For anyone who actually reads this, thanks.Well, I had a boyfriend, we'll call him "Tod". We went out for about 3 months. Well, all these people were coming up to me and saying, "OMG!Are you going to be okay?!" Honestly, I had no idea what on earth they were talking about. So, I asked "Tod" and he told me that he kissed another girl on the lips! Me? Upset? Yeah, but I could deal with it.I told I didn't care. He told me that he couldn't stand to hurt me again, so he said it was over.Well, about 2 months later, he asked me out again, and I said yes. And just recently, we broke up. Everyone was telling me that he told them it was "another girl". This time, I had it with him. I was through with getting hurt because of his freakin mistakes when I didn't do anything to hurt him! So, I'm never going out with him again. But..I think that there might be "another guy" for me. We'll call him "Justin".He's one of my friends ex-boyfriends.They have been going out on and off like me and "Tod".And my other friends are telling me to not go out with him because she might get pissed at me.Well, first of all, I know she will, but I think I really like "Justin" and just the other day, I told him that I really like him. He told me that he really likes me too. But we're not going out. Yesterday, he was talking to my sister, and she asked him if he and I were going out. He said "yeah" and my sister said "since when?!?!". Then he said "since now". But I asked him if we were really going out, and he said he doesn't know! He's just confused because is isn't sure if the fact that you like each other means you are going out or not. Tell him that you don't think you are "officially" going out until he acually asks you out. Then hopefully he will. Or you can just ask him out yourself!

I know it's long, but I'm looking for some good advice!
Okay, sometimes a teacher of mine can say some terrible stuff about our class, once or twice she's said it about our class, and my sister is in her 4th period, and so is a close friend of mine, and the friend told me stuff she's been saying, and I asked my sister if it was true, and she hesitently said no, and the next day I confronted the teacher and she said she'd never say anything about our class.
And yesterday, she had a terrible headache during our class, she said it started a little before 1st period, then she said today that she was feeling a bit better during her yesterdays 4th period, but she still felt sick
I confronted friends from both periods, asking how they thought the teacher was feeling, because she seemed like she was going to cry, and they all said what are you talking about, she was totally fine.
I know it's not really verbal abuse, but what can some of us students do to get her to admit how she feels about us, or atleast have her stop telling other classes rude things about us? Oh, and I have proof, I actually hid a tape recorder in her room after my class, and then I picked it up the next day, and she had said stuff about us the only bad thing is I dropped it, it was raining and it slipped out of my hand, and fell down the sewer drain (what luck) I've also passed by her classroom while she was telling another class about us. So I do know for a FACT she talks about us, but is there anything we can do to get her to stop... were not really that bad of a class, just 2 or 3 of my friends mess around, and make jokes, which she btw laffs at. Don't worry about it. All teachers do that. Unless she is saying hurtful things about individuals, then you should talk to the guidance counselor but ask that if anything is done to stay anonymous. Don't mention the tape or you may get in trouble.

i wouldnt shave your stomach because it will crow back thicker and if you get behind it will look even worse..also its okay to shave you face..SOMETIMES. i had a light mustache lol so i bleached it but it didnt really work well so i am in between treatments of laser surgery. I shaved it and you can't tell and it won't matter because it will all be gone soon because of the laser surgery.

NO! You are perfect the way you are! If you have a preoblem with the way you look, try building muscle in your abs (for example) or in whatever you are unhappy with. You may find yourself gain a few pounds if you are successful, but that is because muscle weighs more than fat.

Well if you have hair like mine..kinda wavy and really hard to control..it doesnt really matter as much what straightener you use..just the gel. I usually take a shower at night and let it air dry because i dont like to put a lot of heat to my hair..it tends to frizz. so in the morning its kinda curly, so i just put a little bit or normal gel in it, i like rave, and brush it. then i have a stronger gel..its not really a gel but its called Head Wear phytophusion piable putty and it like white stuff and you kinda have to brush it in with a soft bristle brush..but if you dont have one thats okay because the white specks of it go away when you straighten it. It works wonders and keeps your hair the way you want it.

It is not wrong that you are going out. However, this is just my opinion, but I encourage you NOT to have sex with him. There are other ways to express your love. You WILL regret it later on in life. I've read all of the answers people have given you and they are all either: "its fine..you can have sex..blah, blah, blah" or "no thats nasty". I disagree with both answers and I really hope you consider mine, it is your choice. But just remember: It is extremely unlikely that you will spend the rest of your lives together. In the future (I hope its the far future! =D) when you break up, if you had sex, it makes you far much more emotionally attached and the break-up will be much harder. Also you must think about pregnancy. Even using birth control, it is possible for you to become pregnant.

Your best friend seems a little jealous. This is perfectly normal with friends. However, do not, i repeat, DO NOT stop trying as hard in science just to appease your friend. Did your teacher make it clear that he favored your suggestion/idea over your friend's in front of the class? If so, she may be embarrassed.
