don't worry, high school is funn! to make friends, join groups and afterschool activites, or just find someone with the same intrests as you. this will get you talking to them, and making friends will be a breeze! you'll be fine, its just that high school is built up to be so much more than it actually is.

ok. i am convinced that there was a mistake in my final and this is why: I did my final in a mechanical pencil, and i wasn't even sure if it was a #2 pencil and the test was a scantron, which only takes #2 pencils. but, after i finished the test, this girl behind me let me borrow her pencil and then i re-did a few of them in mechanical pencil, but i couldn't finish bubbling them all in the pencil. the rest of them were bubbled with the mechanical pencil. the teacher put progress reports in our mailboxes and the test really effected my grade. that's why i really, really need to make sure that i review the test with the teacher. but, when i went up to her to ask her if i could review the test with her, she said no and that she was sorry. i know that there is something fishy about it because i've had a few problems with some teachers because of different reasons. i'm not a bad person, I'm like the best person at school, behavior wise. I never get into any trouble or anything, but in my school, its money situations. so, i don't think that this is fair. I have to review that test with her and the more that she refuses to review the test with me, the more suspicious i am..... can anyone give me some advice?please and thank you (link)

discuss the problem with an authority figure at your school, like the principal or an advice councelor. you have a right to go over the test with your teacher, and if there is something wrong with the test, you have a right to correct it. by talking to one of these people, your teacher will probably be forced to go over the test with you, which even though your teacher will not be happy about it, you will have a chance to see if you got a better grade. good luck.

ive heard that you can get laser treatment for facial hair, and i was wondering if you have to get it done only once and then the hair is gone forever or if you have to do it like once a month? (link)

well ive been getting this done. you have to get it done like 3 or 4 times, and then its pretty much gone forever. if it does come back, though, you have to do it again and you get the same results for about the same amount of time. i think i did it 4 times, and i havnt seen any facial hair since....so its a pretty good deal. it hurts a bit and it will be a bit red for a day after the treatment, but its definately worth it.

Ok well I got my legs waxed and when I finished there was thsi painful looking red strip mark on a part of my leg.
It's like I got hit like REALLY badly! Really red and with darker red dots on it.
What should I do?
It's been 2 days, it looks better but not that much it pretty much looks the same.

you can't really generalize stuff like that. like everyone has different tastes, you can't just generalize by what clique they're in. if you give a bit more information about this guy then we could probably find out if he does, but by just saying hes punk rock that doesn't say anything at all. it just says what kind of clothes he wears and music he listens to...you can't assume he likes/dosen't like you just because of that.

im 13 years old, i weigh 123 pounds or so. and i`m 5ft.
i really want to weigh less maybe around 110 for summer.
i know that im not overweight but i want to be leaner.
i know your supposed to do cardio but like i dont know what types to do that are really effective.
&then like after cardio to tone, how do i tone my arms, like get them leaner not muscleish.
and my thighs &calfs.
please help, i want to be confident in a bikini.

well i have the same problem, just a year older. What I've been doing is not a set of things, but just one thing that works wonders. Believe it or not, Swimming freestyle for 1 hour every day will tone everything and make you look A LOT leaner. and if you keep doing that maybe 2wice a week till summer you'll look AMAZING in a bathing suit and be way more confident. It may seem hard to do this at first, but once you get used to this kind of excercize, it will become easier. If you're in a 25 yard pool, try doing 2600 yards each day. Do it for a few months, and your calfs will be rock hard, you'll lose all that extra unneeded fat in your arms and legs, and maybe even get a six pack (haha just kidding, but all that flab will go away, and remember, there's a little truth to ever joke :D). So I hope I helped with this...it certainly helped me.

well some things that i do to relax is to take long baths with scented oils in them. this tends to help with calming people down. some scents i would recomend would be jasmine and orange blossom.

well the only thing i can think of is, if you have a mac, there's this thing called garage band that comes with the computer. on it, you can make any kind of beats or songs or basiclly anything that makes sound, and you can record yourself singing. im not sure if you can have it on pcs tho. good luck with singing.

I had like the same kind of thing on my hands at the begining of this summer. what I did, was I got up enough courage to tell him on AIM one day...it turned out he didnt like me, but he was really nice about it. the point is, though, you should tell him, but if you're too scared to do it, do it over e-mail or AIM. You'll be a lot braver that way!!!

Sorry to breack it to you, but he's probably just flirting with you because he thinks you're hott (or sumting to that affect). But on the other hand, if he does like you, then he's probably too scared to tell you in front of all your friends (and maybe his). If he likes you, than you should totaly go for him! If not, drop him like a hot potatoe!

Well, I like this guy who I think has the same situation on his hands. If you like this girl on and off, you probably dont like her, just think shes hott or pretty once in a while. There are tons of girls out there that you would probably like for a long time, and not just on and off. The point is, I think you should break up with her.

I just recently moved from Beverly Hills to a suburb town in Pennsylvania. In Beverly Hills, the popular girls were the ones who wore Versace Jeans, carried Louis Vuitton purses, and checked their Coach watches for the time. I thought that moving to this town where there weren't Louis Vuitton addicts would mean that there wouldn't be a totally popularity ruling, but at my school there ARE popular kids who are taking control of the school!
