laser treatment

Question Posted Tuesday June 5 2007, 10:56 am

ive heard that you can get laser treatment for facial hair, and i was wondering if you have to get it done only once and then the hair is gone forever or if you have to do it like once a month?

Okay, I don't know about laser treatment because it's VERY expensive, but what I do is electrolysis. Basically, they pull out the hair and give it an electric shock at the same time, and then that particular hair will never grow back--it's dead! However, you have to keep going back (I go once a week), because they can't possibly zap all the hairs in one session, and also, the electricity stimulates other hairs and makes them grow up. It also hurts quite a bit but is worth it.

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) this site has some information on it, but I don't know how reliable it is. From what I've been able to find, you may have to go for more than one treatment, and it costs about $450 per treatment. However, I'm paying $40 a week for deity knows how many weeks, so maybe it all adds up to about the same. Anyway, check that site, and look it up on google, because I really don't know much about laser treatment.

well ive been getting this done. you have to get it done like 3 or 4 times, and then its pretty much gone forever. if it does come back, though, you have to do it again and you get the same results for about the same amount of time. i think i did it 4 times, and i havnt seen any facial hair since....so its a pretty good deal. it hurts a bit and it will be a bit red for a day after the treatment, but its definately worth it.
