i got a slivver underneath my fingernail cuz i was picking sumthing up off of a wooden bench and the wood went up under my nail. and i cant get it out and it hurtss sooo f*cking bad right now. does ne1 know how 2 get it out?? not even using a tweezers is working. plz help! (link)

My bo and I had a picnic under the stars for our first anniversary. After we had eaten we layed looking up at the sky and talked the whole night.
Since it would be a night time picnis i would suggest bring a few romantic candles along...

I'm SO sick of my room. Its medium size and I used to share it with my sister so I have these two huge canopy beds in there and that takes up a lot of space and are very heavy so can not really move around. If the guy really digs you then he wont cheat. I wouldn't stress out about it to much, but if he's really serious about you he wouldn't even go swimming with her with the risk of hurting your feelings. If he does then it's a good sign that he's proabably not a keeper...

there are actaully HEALTHY ways to gain weight without eating junk all the time. I know from experience because I had the same problem for such a long time. I spoke with a doctor and did lots of research on the internet before I decided to start any diet because that is always recommended. Basically what I did was up my caloric intake, doubled it in fact because if your body burns all the calories you take in then there will be no weight to gain. Lots of protein also helps. Plenty of water and I even took a daily vitamin. Exercise along with all this helps build muscle mass too. My basic eating routime was this...
Breakfast
Morning Snack
Lunch
Snack
Diner
Snack
You need to try to eat about every 3 hours or so. It ia really rough at first when your not used to all that food, but you get pass that quickly.
Lots of fruit, water and high protein foods....

I asked a question about wisdom teeth not too long ago. Thanks to those that answered (with helpful answers). The operation was today, and all went well (except for the pain i'm experiencing lol). I'm just wondering how long should I be biting on gauzes? Are there certain amount of hours after the extraction? Or it it until my lips don't feel numb anymore? Or what? Thanks a lot! (link)

Normally you can take the gauze out after the bleeding slows down. when my boyfriend had his removed he took his gauze out about 3 hours after the surgery because he was barely bleeding.
Also, I dont know if the dentist told you this or not, but gargeling salt water will help the healing move along faster and cleanse any stitch you might have in your mouth.

sounds to me like he doesnt want you to leave him and he's trying to play a guilt trip. It's usually just a way to get someone to give in to you. Don't let emails like that bother you for a second. I've gotten from guys myself. I would recommend you do what you feel is right in your heart and the hell with the rest. You can't make everyone happy so just try to make yourself happ.

At 17 I would not suggest bring a baby into the picture. Find some other way to cope with you 2 being a part. Find some penpals or something. A baby is a HUGE responsibilty. Trust me I know...I had my first at 18 and my second at 20. If I could go back, although I love my children very much, I would have waited. At 22 I feel like I never got to be a teen even though ! was 18 before I became a mother. There is so much I want to do and cant because of my kids. Take sex for example, you may get the urge in the middle of the night and GUESS WHAT you cant be with each other because theres a baby down the hall crying that needs you. It takes a lot of financial stability to raise children as well. Buying diapers and clothes isnt all there is to it. I thought the same thing when I got pregnant.

I recently came back from a camping weekend, and ever since then I've had a horrible rash all over my face and neck. It's red, blotchy and REALLY REALLY ITCHY!! I know it's an allergic reaction to something (I am allergic to EVERYTHING!) but it's not going down like my other reactions do. I've taken Benadryl allergy tablets and I've also put on some Eucerin moisturising cream because that usually works, but it's not having any effect!! plus I've got to be at work on Saturday and I don't want to go in looking like this! Please can anyone suggest anything I can do to make it better??? Or can someone give me an idea of what I can do to cover it up?? (link)

Have you tried applying pure aleo vera? If the pills and creams you normally use are not clearing the problem up I would suggest visiting a doctor. Most likely they could give you a shot that would clear it up quickly.

My brother is forced to move to Hawaii on tuesday for 3 years cause of military orders. he isn't able to take the dog with him because of the rabie policy in Hawaii and the money issue of getting the dog tested(my parents won't let my brother borrow money.). He asked everyone he knew to take care of the dog but they all said no. I wanted to take care of the dog but my parents told me and my brother that they hate animals and that I won't be able to concentrate in school and that school is my top priority. I've tried talking to my parents about it but they always get pissed off and yell at me. So my brother has no choice but to send him to the animal shelter. How can I persuade my parents to let me keep the dog? (link)

I would try the approach of showing some responsibility of other things along with your school work so they can see that you would be able to do both tasks without your grades suffering.

Cranberry juice is great at flushing out infections. Apple juice also works for me.

i'm currently using the depo-provera needle as a form of birth control but i'm switching to the Evra patch in August. I was just wondering, if you or someone you know, uses it and what are the most common side effects. any info you can give about this patch would be really helpfull! (link)

Myself, I have never tried the patch, but only because the hormone dose is to high for my needs. I do, however, have a friend that used the patch for quite a while. She experienced 3 miscarrages before removing them for good.
