ok so i have a sweating problem under my arms.
like REALLY badddd really really really really really really badddd. like ew i can't wear like anything besides black or really baggy T-shirts.
because im really self consious about it.
i've heard a lot about certain-dri the antipersperant stuff and i really wanna get it, im just embarassed to ask my mom cause she doesn't know about the problem (my mom isn't one of those psyco ladies or anything, she's like a normal all american stay at home mom) because once again im very embarassed and self concious about it.
so my questions are:
1)how should i ask my mom to get it without being embarassed?
2)If i get it, when should i put it on, i know at night but like afterrrr i shave or before? after shower? before? i need any advice you can give me

Certain Dri is alright. I have the same problem as you and it drives me nuts. You can ask your parent to take you to the doctor for a prescribtion; they will probably give you something similar to Certain Dri, just a little stronger.

You will NOT earn yourself a bad name by getting your belly button pierced. It's not like you're walking around with your stomach showing. 9 out of 10 girls you see at my school have theirs done too. No one thinks much of it. Who cares what anyone else thinks anyway? It's your body. If they have a problem, then they can get over it because it's only a body piercing.

Take it from someone that knows ALL about this stuff. Forget the jerk. He's seriously not worth your time if he's going to tell other people he loves them. Don't make someone a priority if they only make you an option. Just hang out with your friends. Hanging out with them will help everything, but I know things get worse at night and that's when you think about it even more. Start talking to other guys, not only will it make YOU happy, it'll make him jealous, and you'll have someone else to think about besides that jerk. Hope I helped. Feel better =]

a job? i am 16 and i've been working for a year now, and it's so nice having the money for whatever. i save it, but i also spend a lot of it. you should apply anywhere you can. majority of stores hire at 16 but some hire at 18. hope i helped

I'm 16 years old. I've never had a girlfriend, I've never been kissed, I've never even held hands. Is something wrong with me? I feel like I'm missing out on one of the best parts of my teenage years. Is it wrong that it hasn't happened yet? Is it a bad thing? And what about when I finally do get a girl. Is she not going to want to be with me because I'm not experienced enough to make her happy? I guess the advice I need is how do I stop worrying so much. It's nothing abnormal. You know what, consider yourself lucky you haven't fallen in love yet, because once you break up, it hurts.. bad. If you are worried about a girl not liking you cuz your not experienced, then don't tell her. Maybe she will be surprised and you'll be better than you think. It's a good thing you haven't yet. High school is all about fun, so go out and have fun! Just look around local places like the mall or movies and talk to girls. Hope I helped..

Hi, i am 16. Ive been with my boyfriend for 9 months now - this is a long relationship for me. This boy means a lot to me, and we love each other heaps - except we're really on and off. We break up all the time because his friends always get in the way.
Like, on the weekend of my 16th, he decided to go away with his friends to the coast and left me alone at home with dad, and that really cut me deep. Anyway, we always break up because he prefers his friends over me, but the thing is, i hate it. I want to tell him that i need his attention without sounding selfish and he gets really angry really easily. also, we broke up last weekend. i heard he got a new girl that is 15.. i think, anyway shes 2 years younger than him, and i heard they were going out so then i decided to go out one night on a weeknight so me and a few friends went for a drive and i ended up kissing one of his old friends. well that weekend after that he called me and we talked for 4 hours and sorted things out and i broke up with this other boy for the guy i love, but.. this girl he was apparently with is getting in the way.. im really insecure about it and i say "you love her more than me" and he agrees, but i know he doesnt. im really confused. does he love her or not. i love him so much and im sick of breaking up and when we got back together last weekend he talked to her on MSN messenger saying that he "still wants to be friends with her", so does he have feelings for her or not? thanks (link)

Haha.. this reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. He just broke up with me after 2 years for the same reason. He's probably just trying to get over you. He could still have feelings for her, but it's all just a matter of trust. I hope everything works out.

That does sound a bit weird to me. Tell him that you don't want to do it in those kind of places. That's called PDA. Tell him you want to do it when you guys are alone. If he really wants to have sex with you, he should understand.

"brittney" is definately right. sleek.look is the best stuff out there for smoothing your hair. spray some "iron smoother" in it, and then straighten your hair. it'll look so nice!! it may be a little pricey but it'll definately help!

Why is it that so many girls freak out about their boobs being too small? I see so many questions about girls who think that because they have small boobs, they won't get any guys. That is not true at all.
But that really isn't the issue, I guess. I myself have quite the chest. I'm a 38 D, and still growing somewhat. It is painful sometimes, especially around periods, and frustrating, because it is near impossible to find shirts that fit, or decent bras.
So when I see these girls who think their lives are over because they are 16 and they aren't Jessica Rabbit, it makes me angry. They have no idea what larger chested women have to deal with! To me, it seems they have it easy. They don't have to worry about aching backs, or not being able to wear a beautiful shirt or dress because it is too tight at the bust, or too loose everywhere else.
How can I keep from being so angry with them? I know that they don't understand, and I know it isn't worth fussing over, but I just can't help it.

You shouldn't have to keep it all in! I'm a 36 C and i think it's even painful, but I already have back problems. You're right. They do think it's so hard to find boys because they don't have the chest, but that seriously isn't true. It's good that someone finally says it. Don't stop saying it, the flat people need to know it's not all about boobs. =]

Sorry if this is in the wrong category... it seemed to be the best fit.
Anyway, for the past few days my left eye has been really itchy. I don't wear contacts or anything like that. It feels like there is an eye lash that fell into my eye... it's that exact same feeling, but there is nothing in it. The feeling is not there 24/7 either... it probably feels that way every 4 hours or so, and I can't stop rubbing it when it happens which makes it itch and bother me even more!

Well, if you got grossed out by thinking of women, I think you're okay. Every teenage girl will question her sexuality at least once, I know I have. I'm sure you just want to look like them, but don't we all? If you really think you are bisexual, then think about it. You need to think if you could picture yourself doing stuff to another girl. If you get grossed out by that too, then you probably aren't bi. You were probably just bi-curious. I wouldn't really worry about it too much. Hope I helped =]

this might not help you, but that's okay. i use matrix sleek.look. it works really good on making your hair soft and shiny. i use the shampoo and conditioner, and when i straighten my hair, i use sleek.look iron smoother. spray it on before you straighten your hair and it makes it really healthy looking and soft. you can find it at any salon, i'm sure. i work at great clips and i got it there. to get rid of the split ends, you should go get your hair trimmed. it makes your hair look a LOT healthier! hope this helped!

Haha. this is funny because i'm turning 16 in 3 weeks and my boyfriend is 18 too. I don't think it's child molestation unless it's something you don't want. It's still illegal once you turn 16 but it should be okay if your parents aren't bothered by it. Hope that helped

Any fast food places might take you at 14. I think McDonalds might. Places don't really look at 14 year olds, but they might consider at 15. I'm 15 and work at a hair salon. Fast food is the place to look.
