but theres this kid in my spanish class hes a sophmore and im a freshman. and ever since school started he always checked me out and stuff, and he'd stare at me all the time. every time he'd pass me he'd flick his hair at me. well i just thought that it didnt mean anything, until these past few days in the halls he'd point me out to all of his friends, and they'd be like "oh thats the girl who you like?" (but they didnt know that i heard), so i know that he likes me but he's kind of shy! i like him too and i want to go to homecoming with him but i want him to ask ME so what should i do? i dont want to ask his friends cause thats lame, but im afraid to talk to him. do you think he's embarrassed cause im a freshman?
lol, I know exactly the predicament you're in. The best thing you can do in this situation is take charge. I myself am very shy around people when I first meet them, and nothing flatters a guy more than a girl taking the iniative. Try it out, he seems to be showing all of the right signs.

I just got a Virgin Mobile phone for my b/day.. Thing is, I've already spent $70 on it in phone cards.. And I've had it for a month. I REALLY need minutes on the phone, because I ran out a week or two ago. Thing is, I'm flat broke & my mom isn't willing to buy me a phone card. Any ideas on how to make money? First of all, don't be scared. I know it's hard, but if you act shy and scared the first day, people may think your'e a bit anti-social. Go out and meet people, introduce yourself to a group that looks like they share some common interests with you. Ask teachers or other students for directions to your classes. Before you know it, you'll be a senior and on top of the world.
Ive had the same boyfriend for about a year and 6 months and lately there hasnt been much time for us to spend together. He left for a week to go to some soccer camp, then he went to an afternoon camp that ran for a week from 4:30 till 8. And now hes started varsity soccer which is gonna cut into the time we spend together. He practices 4 hours a day and his mom invites his friends over all the time which leaves me with about a day a week to see him. I dont think this is fair. And for a week i was sick with mono which he gave to me...and he didnt bother to call or send me flowers like my other friends did. I dont know what to do with him any more...any suggestions?
Talk to him about this, you have been going out with him for a year and a half. He should take time out of his schedule to be with you. Tell him you feel hurt about him not calling you and not sending you anything when you had mono. He should understand, and if he doesn't, then he's not worth it.
Okay...I know a lot of people ask what they should do if they're bad dancers and mostly they're told that they just need more confidence and that they can't be THAT bad. The thing is, I'm REALLY bad, and I'm not just saying it. There have been dances at my school and whenever I go I feel really stupid when I'm out there dancing because I know I suck at it. My boyfriend wanted to take me clubbing once and I had to make up an excuse because I didn't want to embarrass myself! Is there any way I can improve without taking classes? Or is it something that you sort of have to be a natural at? I don't want to have to avoid dancing situations forever! (okay, I'll stop with the drama) Anyway, any advice would help. Thanks!
Haha, I can't dance either. Its nothing to be ashamed about, some people have it, some people dont. You can try to buy some videos that will teach you some steps. Or purchase some books about dancing. I for one can't, nor will I ever again dance to a song with a higher than slow tempo. Unless its with the person I love, then I wont care if I look like a doofus.

If you really know who he is, then go for it. If you are 100% sure he is safe, then there is nothing wrong with that. You should get him to send you a picture too, so you dont go into it as a half blind date.

Many parents nowadays are wary of reprimanding their child by using a little swat of the hand or spank on the butt. I think a little physical reminder is what influences most children to behave. And saying that it will make them turn out bad in the long run is a blatant lie. I was spanked as a child, and I turned out fine. I also plan on spanking my child if he/she gets out of hand. It will not turn the child into an anti-social weirdo, it will teach him/her right from wrong.

You need to go to the doctor and make sure he did to you what you think he did. And if he did, contact the athorities and get his worthless ass put in jail. Any guy like that doesn't deserve to be free. Also go to your local drug store and purchase a couple of home pregnancy tests. Tell your parents, they won't be as mad if you tell them now than later. Surround yourself with your friends and tell them about the situation as well. I told myself I would never answer a question that had "I rate" in it, but you need help, so I did.
my friend she starves her self, everybody tells her to eat but she wont! She has lost 46 pound in the last yera! Its sffectign her because she is loosing hair! and when she does eat she eats like chips and bad stuff like that!
46 pounds in a year isnt that excessive. But if she didn't need to lose the weight in the first place, it's a very big deal. If you have tried talking to her and getting other people to talk to her, like her parents, then talk to her parents and get them to get a phsychiatrist and/or contact the paramedics. This can potentially get to be a very big problem. Tell her she is only making herself look worse because she is losing hair. (only say that if it is a last ditch effort.) I hope I helped.
well i was dating this guy for a while...then things kind of fell apart between us. nothing bad really...he was really busy with work and we kind of just drifted. anyway we just started talking again and he explained everything he was thinking and all that. but while we talked i never really got to say everything i wanted or ask him what the deal is with us. i talked to him online tonight and i had to leave but i thought we would talk when i got back. but he hasn't come back online, and i know he's really busy so i dont want to bug him on the phone. so my question is, should i email him...say what i have to and ask him where things stand, or should i just wait until i talk to him again? i'd appreciate any advice...i really dont know what i should do!
It's really up to you. If you are afraid you wont have time to tell him again, send him an e-mail. An e-mail is sort of cliche, but it is an easier way to express your feelings than on the phone/instant messaging. But, if you talk to him on the phone, it will be more personal than e-mailing him and you will probally get a straight-forward answer. It's all about personal preference.
I'm a 19 year old girl and I can't stand my dad. I move out in a year and a half to go to get my BS, but I don't think I can make it.
He's a slob! He leaves open cans of cat food out on the counter, reaches to the bottom of the bread loaf and crumples all the other slices, leaves sharp and dangerous things where my baby can get them, never closes the cabinets, never takes off his shoes in the baby's play area, etc.
He comes home from work and plays a video game. He has played the same video game every day for the past two and a half years. He never helps my mom or me. My mom is so stressed because of him, and so am I.
He thinks he's always right. If I prove him wrong, I get sent to my room! He yells at me, belittles me, laughs at me, and calls me names.
I just need some advice on how to cope until I can move out, or I'll take any other suggestions.
You need to get your mom and both of you need to talk to him. The man can't spend all of his time playing a video game when he has a grandson/daughter, a daughter, and a wife living under his roof. Tell him he needs to start to clean up after himself and be more sanitary. If he doesn't listen, pester him constantly and maybe even hide his game for an evening or two.

Theres not much one can do in this situation, except talk to her and try to help her out. Sit her down and tell her to eat, tell her that if it was meant to be, it would have happened. You can try and help, but, ultimately this is something she will have to come to terms with by herself. I wish I could help more, but I can't think of anything else to do. If she doesn't start eating soon, call the paramedics.
Ok, im 15 and I have alot of wetness under my arms. I wear deoderant, but it dosen't stop it. There isn't any smell or anything, but I have these big 'pit stains' and it sucks cause I can't raise my arms in fear that someone would see. Dose anyone know of a deoderant or something to use that will stop this?!?

I think what you should do is ask him if he is gay. If hes not, you will be telling him about a rumor that is being spread about him, and he will be grateful for that. If he is gay, then tell him the reason why you asked him. Either way, you'll know the answer.

Don't worry about his past girlfriends, just worry about yourself. Don't even do it unless you are 100% SURE you are ready. And even then, look at him and ask yourself "Is this the guy I want to lose my virginity to?" And if you are unsure, don't do it. No, it is not wrong to be a virgin at 15.
over spring break 2005 my family will be taking a 7-day cruise that will go to 3 or 4 different places in the southern caribean. this will be out 2nd cruise but the last one we went on was 3 or 4 years ago, and the farthest we have traveled is a 4 and a half hour trip, and this plane trip will be a little longer. any advice on stuff to do to keep me busy on the way there?
Wow, you've got a while to think about what your'e going to do on the airplane trip there. On alot of long flights now adays, they have T.V.'s in them so you can watch movies, just don't forget to bring some headphones, or you'll have to shell out 3 bucks to buy one of the airlines. You can also sleep, read, and do crossword puzzles. Bring a cd-player and listen to your favorite tunes. Theres plenty of stuff to do now adays on an airplane.
