I've wanted to get laser eye surgery since I first heard about it. I have pretty bad eyesight, but I didn't get contacts until I was a teenager. Every day I think about how amazing it was not to have to deal with contacts. I can look up information about the procedure and the risks and stuff myself, so what I'm looking for here is information from people that have been through it. What was it like? How much did it help? Tell me all about your experience (or the experience of someone close to you) and whether you think I'm making the right decision. Thanks already. (link)

My aunt had the process, and it worked great...she was able to get rid of her contacts and glasses...the first few days are a little blurry...but after that...it is great...I would recommend it to anyone...that wants to get rid of the glasses...

For homecoming dance (this saturday) I got a really nice dress. the only problem is that it falls three inches past my feet. My mom says if i dont figure out how to shorten it or grow anoter few inches before saturday, she'll let my sister wear the dress instead because she wants to wear it now. Which isnt really fair since i was the one who found.
But anyway, is there anyway to shorten the dress by a few inches? I really need to know before saturday. please help!! (link)

If you want to shorten the dress in a temporary way, so that your sister may be able to use it at a later time....go to a craft store or walmart and get some bonding tape, you just fold the dess up to where you want the new hemm and iron the tape on...it only takes minutes...then later just pull the tape off, you can use a warm iron if the fabic is delicate...the tape cost less than $5.00, then it will be back to the old size for your sister...

If your hair is just Frizzy, you may want to try some oil treatments or heavy conditioners to add some weight to your hair...and talk with a good stylist that can suggest some things to make it less frizzy...if it just has alot of static..rub a few fabric sheet over it...and then comb it out....it works wonders...

I have very bad eczema on my left hand and a little on my right hand. It flares up, I treat it with Demovate Steroid Cream and it goes down after about a week and a half. Three weeks later, just as my skin has healed, it comes back. This has been happening for six months and I need something that will get rid of it.
My doctor is referring me to a Dermatologist but I was wondering if there are any natural or herbal remedies for eczema I could try or anything I could do to prevent it? It feels like my hand is on fire first, then it's SO intensly itchy I can only run ice all over my hand constantly to help it and when it goes, my skin is wrinkled and prune like, scabby where I scratch in my sleep and the skin peels away.

Let me tell you about this...it really, really works and is worth the process, because the cure last for months and months...
You find some black walnuts, still in their green shell, they are about the size of a tennis ball, you boil two or three of them in plain water and make a tea. Let the tea cool and soak your arm or you can take a bath in the tea, not in hot water, luke warm warm..hot water inflames the skin..you will want to soak the arm or take the bath for at least an hour....pat dry and use olive oil as a moistuzizer....this process will clear up your skin for months at the time...and cost only a few dollars..you can find the black walnuts by calling your local farmers market...trust me..it works...and the each time you do it the process last longer....and is milder the next time...

so i don't know why but i've all of a sudden broke out really badly in random places on my chin, cheeks, and forehead. i really don't know why because i use a clearasil pad when i wake up, clean and clear cream cleanser and aveeno non-comodogenic moisturizer in the afternoon, and a clearasil pad and invisible acne treatment stuff before i go to bed. but it still gets worse. what's the deal? HELP!!!

One of the best things that you can do, is to take an egg white and put it on your face like a mud mask..let it dry and wash it off with a warm wash cloth...no soap...rise with cool water...pat dry...you will be so surprised...it works great..

ok so when i was younger and had chicken pox i scratched them so now im 18 and i have marks on my face from scratching. they look like holes in my face. does anyone know how i can make them look less obv other then just putting makeup over it. (link)

Many adults have the same problem, the best thing to do is if it really bothers you, go see a plastic sur. most of them can use a laser to remove the scar...it is quick and easy and you won't need to worry about make up all the time...call around and ask what they advise...good luck

I got a couple of pumpkins for my porch a week or so ago, and they slowly got little bits taken out of them day by day. Then, yesterday I caught a squirrel munching on them. I would really like to put a bunch of pumpkins on the porch, but don't want to have a bunch of moldy pumpkins with holes all through them on my porch.
Anyone know of any way to deter a squirrel. Hopefully without poison or a pellet gun. (link)

Happens for a number of reasons...best thing to do is to use a peice of very fine sand paper to rub it off, run the warm ( not hot ) warm iron over a few peices of wax paper and you should be good to go..

The best way to clean up a big mess like that is to pack a couple of suit cases like you are going on vacation..sit then in the hall way and put every thing in a box (s) . sort it and any thing that you don't use often throw out any thing that you want to save put back in the box and store in the actic...put your good stuff back in the room...

My bf has a real mean streak in him when it comes to gay people. Well he told me one day that every time Queer Eye For The Straight Guy came on tv he felt like throwing his boot threw the screen. It has been about three years now, and I cannot get over my ex boyfriend. I don't know what to do anymore. The last couple of weeks were perfect.
