The only reason you shouldn't go to bed with your hair wet is because when you toss and turn at night your hair starts to dry how it is lying. So if it is messed up it will dry that way and it won't be smooth and straight in the morning. I hope that answered your question.

The sandman is attracted to water, because mud is stronger than sand. Duh.

Well, it's not like something bad's going to happen if you do, but it's best not to because whenever you go to bed with wet hair, in the morning, your hair can become extremely tangled up from all these tossing and turning during the night, and it can become really frizzy and hard to handle and straighten ( if you straighten it ) and brush through it. Plus, it causes your pillows and such to be wet too.

I hope I helped.

Well, obvious reasons are it being uncomfortable and could cause your hair to become majorly tangled if you don't brush it thoroughly beforehand! Other than that, I don't see why it could cause any damage. Anyway, it's not like anyone would go to bed with soaking wet hair..
and I doubt very much it can cause illnesses. Perhaps make you cold. But not give you a cold. That's a myth. :)

The only reasons I can think of are that you will make the pillow wet and your hair could become very tangled as it drys. I have gone to bed when I was younger with it wet and in small plaits to give it a wavy effect the next day. Having wet hair isn't a big problem when you go to bed.
