Why do guys hate/not like when girls cry? For example, last night I was telling my best guy friend about something really upsetting, and he just kept saying, "Please don't cry, please don't cry." What makes guys always say that, like why does it upset tem when girls cry? (link)

he was probably saying dont cry because didn't want to hear/see you upset. i dont think that guys in general dont like it when girls cry but like some might get annoyed by it.
so don't assume that they hate it.

well whatever you are upset about you should find a solution to it. don't let that make you depressed, because you are supposed to be happy in life. look at the brightside of things. don't tell yourself that you are going to be unhappy forever because if you think that then you probably will.

you should just relax and start to talk to him.
i had the same problem with this kid who sat behind me in one of my classes. we are now friends but he doesn't know that i kind of like him.
but anyway, don't worry.. if youre shy than this is the time to prove you arent. boys dont pay attention too much on every single word you say. give it chance and talk to him.

so today, this kid told me he went to the bathroom and got stoned..and its true he did cause he was acting really weird and his face was all messed up when he got back. But i just don't understand how he could do that and not get caught or how he was able to do that in the bathroom, or like what he was getting stonned on? (link)

yea its very easy to do without getting caught.. i havent done it but there are ways. idk what he got stoned on, ask him because why would i know..?

ok yesterday i said to my friend jess on aim "i officially have the best song on my myspace ever." i told her to go look and shes like "that song sucks." it was "but its better if you do" by panic at the disco. then shes like "dude, stop trying to be like me and katie cuz its not working. you hated them like a month ago." katie is one of our friends. she also said i get jealous over the smallest things and its really annoying. is she like way overreacting? because all me friends think she is.
and another thing..how can i not get so jealous? because i do get jealous easily. (link)

well she wasnt over reacting.. maybe it was a point where she was thinking about it alot and she just wanted to tell you. she shouldnt just say that it sucked.. but she didn't mean it in a mean way because she's your friend and shes telling you her opinion. and it's fine if your jelous sometimes, everybody is. idk what to tell you to get less jealous because idk what youre getting jealous of.. but if you want something and you can't have it, just live without it.. and make the best of things.

but mine were a little but then they grew in. if it's a major difference in size, i would go see a doctot but otherwise don't think much of it.
don't sweat you'll be fine.. look at christina aguilara.. her right boob is bigger (if you didn't notice. lol)

I had my hair really long, i mean long, when i wore it down, it came all the way to my belly button and i wanted to get it cut so i did and now, its only a little past my shoulders! its WAY WAY to short!! I know that my friends wont like it either,,,i know i shouldnt care what people think but i do. I will always. I know this sounds like i am a prep but i really am concerned about this! please help! SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME !!!
ok well when i got it cut i was hysterical and i thought it looked HORRIBLE. but anyway i got to school and my friends did like ii and i was surprised becuase i thought it looked bad.
a couple days later you get used to it. try to find a look that's cute with your new hair. and don't worry because it will always grow back.
you probably needed to get it cut.. maybe it looks more cleaner or taken care of.
don't worry.. you'll at least survive

My parents and I just don't get along anymore. My parents think that I'm a completely shallow, bitchy whore, and have no problem telling me this. I try to be nice to them, I do, but they'll start me off by giving me evil looks or using a tone with me before I can even say hello! They put all the blame on me, however, we're both equally guilty. But I just want to get along with them like I used to. How do you suggest I do this? Thanks in advanced. (link)

well i'm sorry to hear this. my best friend had the same problem and i have always talked to her about it. she says the BEST and final way is to talk to your mom. talk to her when shes in a good mood and be open with her.
if you don't come up to doing that, little things can help also like giving her a hug before you go to bed or when you say goodbye to her on the phone and say i love you or say thank you... parents like to hear that stuff. it loosens them up and i'm 99% sure that they will gradually respect you more.
and also give them a break beacuase being a parent is a hard job anf they get stressed (i'm not a parent but i just noticed)
so keep your chin up and you'll get through it

Well... (im a girl)ever since about a year ago, ive reckoned i was gay.In year 5(im now in year 8 and im 13)i yoused to sort of make out with this girl when we slept over each others houses but i just put it down to experimentation. Now i really like girls and dont really like guys and i keep having dreams and watch movies with lots of gay/lesbian people in them. Im not to bothered by the fact of being gay but i was wondering that seeing as i dont have a girlfriend and im not about to tell my parents anytime soon, what should i do? (link)

i think you should wait a little longer until you decide if you are gay or not. i know you think you are since you made out with this girl and you don't like boys.. but you never know. but whatever you do, don't do something you don't want to.. like go out with a guy to prove to someone or yourself you aren't gay.
i see what you are saying and it seems scary when you think you're gay.. and that's fine. there is notihng wrong with it.. but you don't want to decide too soon.
and as if with the parent situation.. you SHOULD talk to them.. but what teenager *actually* talks to their parents about these things, so don't feel quilty if you don't. if you want to and it feels right to talk to them, no one is stopping you. i'm sure they will help you and have your back 110%

Last summer, this boy that was my BEST FRIEND. Came to my house in the middle of the night, to do it with me. In the beginning when we were on the phone, I played along, I thought he was kidding, I even asked my friends.. i was like.. hes kidding right? & there like oh yeah. So i went with it. Then he told me he'd be at my house later. He doesn't live really close so it was about a 3 mile walk. When he came, of course I said no. Ever since, he got mad at me & hasn't spoken to me since. I miss him, he was my best friend. Was I wrong? I mean at the time, I felt so, so smart & all. That I said no. Now, I feel like I messed up something, I messed up the friendship & its all my fault.
Am I wrong?
How can I make it better?

well if you said no than that was the totally right thing to do. you shouldn't feel pressured to do something you don't want to. but if he's not talking to you, personally i think that's kind of pathetic. i would somehow tell him that i thought he was kidding so you can't blame you for saying no. also tell him that you don't want to ruin your friendship over this.
he seems like a nice guy but a little freaky that he would actaully come to your house.

i live in new jersey and on monday my family and i are going to rome for 10 days.
Now i know that when were in Rome were going to do all the touristy stuff so im not asking for like sighseeing stuff. I need stuff to do on the plane and when were like in our hotel room.
i bought a bunch of books, but thats about all i have so far.
suggestions? i need soon cuz we are leaving in like two days! thanks! (link)

i go on so many long plane trips so i know what you want to do..
well you should have an ipod or cd player.. which is obvi to listen to music
bring like paper and w.e so maybe you can play MASH if you have the time. i'm also kind of artistic so i like to draw.. you can try that.
you can also bring a deck of cards (war, gin rummy, go fish, secret, palace etc)
if you have like a mini dvd player you can watch some movies. the plane with probably provide that for you but u can bring one anyway.
bring alot of candy because on long plane rides i seem to always have cravings for candy.. haha
well um also you can also sleep on the plane .. cause its gunna be long.
in the hotel you probably not going to be in the room alot so dont worry about that. if you have a laptop, you can bring that and have it in the hotel room..
and remember that you are going to rome and this might me once in a lifetime experience so if you want (which i highly recommend) is take alot of pics and make a journel.. you may not want to do it while youre there but later on, you would be happy that you did it. when you get home you can maybe make a scrapbook.
well those are all my ideas for now.

PILATESS !!! my mom is a pilates teacher and it works perfectly. do it alot and you'll get toned up in no time (depending on how much you need to lose)

OK this is the hardest thing i have ever been through.. :( and i have never felt this way about someone before..we have been through so much and shared so many good memories..well the story goes like this...
A girl comes out of nowhere and starts flirting with my bf of 9 months on myspace. They wind up hanging out at a football game with friends and he tells me he has some feelings for her. This was heartbreaking. However..i wanted to work it out with him so when he suggested 'open relationship' as in he dates her(not go out) and maybe kisses/hugs her and i agreed to this and to still be with him. I decided it wasnt fair to me..because we had 9 months..i dont desserve this and it hurts..so i break up with him..He says he loves me and sees a future with me as in marriage..that it wont get serious with the new girl but how am i supposed to know? (i mean he might go out with her he says..what do i do then?)They are hanging out more..they call each other..shes driving me nuts with her shoutouts to him and comments..and hes putting her shoutout in his info..its just too much and it breaks my heart. I dont know what to do..isolate myself from him..like not talk to him or hang out or anything so he makes a choice? (like if hes away from me maybe he will miss me..or maybe he will decide he wants her) Or do i be his friend? do i kiss him still and cuddle? i really want to..but this is very hard for me. Hes a sweetheart though. he told me everything..he was honest about her..and we made an agreement that he tells me everything and he has. they were talking together by the lake..they might go to the movies tomorro..i flip flop back and forth though..be his friend and hang out/talk/cuddle/kiss him...but sometimes i feel so sad and hurt i feel like i should back away completely. what do i do? is this worth the wait? well it looks like you really like him and you shouldn't give him up easily. if he said he sees a future with you two and not her than he obviously likes you way more. if you are really open with him, tell him that you feel upset when he hangs out with her. even though you agreed it was ok for him to be with her, tell him that it isn't working out for you.
another option you can do is remind him what he said to about the future thing. tell him that if thats true then why are you with her and not me. remind him that you love him. he will probably say something comforting and possibly stop hanging with her. do that before you kiss him or cuddle etc.

well somehow get him the message that you don't have a boyfriend, pass him a note, or just IM him and tell him you don't. he may not respond but at least he will now. he will probably start talking to you again and things will be fine.. if he believes you.
if he doesn't believe you tell him "would u seriously think i would kiss kiss you if i had a boyfriend aleady?"

i think she should break up with him before their relationship gets even worse. if she doesn't like him, she shouldn't go out with him.. it's that easy. he seems like a person who wouldn't take it the wrong way, but i don't know much about him so i'm not sure.

Ok, i know this probly happens to everyone atleast once in their life, and well i used to like this guy but then i got over him , and now i lyk him again and so on, and well i just wonder if he likes me, becuase i am getting mixed messages. well i'm sure many people have this problem and i have had it too. if i were you i wouldnt want to tell him i liked him, because it can possibly ruin the friendship. but if you want you can because its a chance and he may like you too. all you should do really is kinda give him the message that you like him by flirting and whatever. if he does it back, its like 99% sure that he likes you too.
when he did flirt with you, i guess you can say he liked you so thats a thought that crossed his mind to consider you.
its very possible he likes you now, just flirt!
