hair cut to short!
I had my hair really long, i mean long, when i wore it down, it came all the way to my belly button and i wanted to get it cut so i did and now, its only a little past my shoulders! its WAY WAY to short!! I know that my friends wont like it either,,,i know i shouldnt care what people think but i do. I will always. I know this sounds like i am a prep but i really am concerned about this! please help!

Hey! Don't even stress it! The only reason it feels funny is cause its something new. A ton of the girls in my grade came back for school in the fall with short hair. It looks really good on most of them and its kind of the style now. Even if you dont like your hair it is so important to act confident because how you wear it will help determine what people think. And if you don't like it down expierement with ponytails, french braids, or straight and scrunched. I hope I helped ♥ Kelli

well just act confident and like yourself. its a big change but confidence makes the change SO SO much better. alls you can do now is just keep it heathly and wait for it to grow out. as for now, jsut style your short hair cut. get ideas from style magazines on how to style short hair.

Well, that's a really big change. I bet it doesn't look as bad as you think it does, it just feels so different. Give it some time to get used to, I bet you will grow to like it. It will be a lot more managable and less hot, and you will be able to do more with it. Embrace the change! You can't really do anything about it now, so look on the bright side. Find different cute ways to wear it that you couldn't do before. Curl it with an iron (I'm sure that wasn't an easy task with your long hair). People will love the change, even if it takes you all some time. Good luck!

Ok. I was growing my hair in 4th grade and the beginning of 6th grade it was pretty long but then I CUT IT RIGHT ABOVE MY SHOULDERS. I hated it soo much. now its right about where it was before i had cut it. about 3 inches past my shoulders
now you may not like it but unfortunatley whats done has been done and you cant change it but my hair isnt that much longer than yours and i can get it to look really cute in some hairstyles. just experiment as much as possible.

ok well when i got it cut i was hysterical and i thought it looked HORRIBLE. but anyway i got to school and my friends did like ii and i was surprised becuase i thought it looked bad.
a couple days later you get used to it. try to find a look that's cute with your new hair. and don't worry because it will always grow back.
you probably needed to get it cut.. maybe it looks more cleaner or taken care of.
don't worry.. you'll at least survive
