Ok, i hope you all understand how hard(as in embarrassing) for me this is to ask, but i dont have any other option really. one of my nipples has gotten all hard and dark, kind of like a scab. im really scared, is this a disease that could really affect me? or just some infection that could go away. i already told my mom, and she said we'd go to the doctor next month, because we're quite busy these days. im 16/f if that helps. i have no idea wat this could be. so if anyone could tell me wat it is, thx.

It could be all kinds of things from something as benign as a reaction to a bug bite or a simple rash to something more serious.
With most things like this (non life/limb threatening), I myself give it a week or so to see if it clears up on it's own. If it doesn't get better, or it gets worse in that period I go to see my doctor.
If the problem persists, I don't think I'd wait a whole month to get it checked out.

No, this age difference is not okay.
The four years between thirteen and seventeen are a lot bigger than the four years between, for example, twenty and twenty-four.
A boy that age is probably looking at girls that much younger than himself for their sexual naivete. He'd likely want to take advantage of your inexperience.
I should also point out that if you two were to have sexual contact, he would be guilty of Statutory Rape in most states.
It's okay to be friends with someone who's older, but the fact that he asked you out says he's after something else.

ok well im the counceler of a summer camp and at the end of it we're having this fun-dance and we have to choose a good dancing song from a movie to dance to. anything but highschool musical because another camp is doing it. and it cant have any swearing or bad stuff because theres kids in the camp.. just like from a disney movie or something like that. thanks!

Postpartum stitches, whether they're from an episiotomy or from simple tearing, are usually in the Perineum (the area between your genitals and your rectum).
Most women masturbate by stimulating their clitoris, which is on the opposite side of the vagina.
So, as long as you're not manipulating in the area where your stitches are, there shouldn't be a problem.
Of course, if it hurts or you feel yourself pulling on the stitches, stop what you're doing.

Here's my deal. I have an XP and a program that saves files to the program file. My boss wants me to figure out how to save them to a desktop file. I have no idea how to go about doing this. So, if you know how to change the settings so that you can save to other files, please tell me, because I need that info.
I assume that you mean that you have a computer that's running Windows XP as it's operating system...
Click on "File" in the upper left hand corner of the program's window.
This will open up a menu.
Select "Save As..." from that menu.
This will bring up a Save Item dialog window.
Along the left side of the dialog window there are several buttons, click the button that's labeled "Desktop"
Name and save your file.
PS Make sure not to use any punctuation when you're saving your file, that can make it end up in different places than you expect.

I'm watching my friends kitten from saturday to wednesday. I'm going to have to keep it at MY house. I have to feed it, play with it, and all that stuff. How much should I charge?
I wouldn't charge a *friend* anything at all.
I would ask them to bring over the kitten's food and toys and litter-box.
But I wouldn't charge them money for it. Its a favor between friends, hopefully they'll return the favor at some point.

I've recently been diagnosed with COPD which is Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease. I also have unstable asthma. Due to this I have to take steroids quite often which makes me put on weight. The extra weight is not good as it puts more strain on my lungs. I am trying to be careful with what I eat. I'm not fat as such, but definitely under height for my weight!
I find it very difficult to exercise, walk far etc, due to the lung disease, but I need some form of exercise to try to keep the COPD at bay as long as possible.
Also, due in part to the steroids I have early onset osteoporosis, so exercise would be good for that as well. Doctors have not really been much help. Any suggestions please?

Ok, well I just got a new mp4 player that is LIKE an Ipod nano, but not actually an ipod, but I want to download music that I already have on iTunes. The user manual I got with it doesn't explain it at all, and I can't figure out how to put music on it. It's called an iNova. I think one of my friends might have stolen my camera when she visited us on vacation. I asked her to put it in her purse, because I didn't have mine with me. She has already gone back, but the last thing I remember was giving her my camera. I called her, and have been harrasing her, even trying to guilt her about it. I even went to the store we went into that day, but NO ONE has seen it. What should I do? It's been about a month, and my parents won't let me get another one because its my fault its gone.
What I find interesting here is that in the very first sentence in your question you say your friend *might* have stolen your camera.
That says that you have some doubt, and if you have some doubt in your own mind, you shouldn't be persecuting your friend.
You also never told us what your friend's side of the story is. Does she remember you handing her the camera? Did she say she gave it back to you already?
Here's one completely innocent scenario I'd like you to try on for size: You handed your friend the camera and she absentmindedly put it into her purse. You forgot to ask for it back when you returned from your outing. Your friend (or her mom) packed up the camera with everything else when they returned home. The camera's still sitting in the bottom of a suitcase... making your friend innocent of stealing and justly annoyed with being accused.
My advice is to decide what's more important to you- your friend or a camera that she might or might not have taken.
Until you have definite proof of malice on her part, don't accuse her. You might ask her to double check her luggage, but don't tell her she stole it, that's just insulting and guaranteed to get her angry with you.

My nephew KC is marrying Kendra and they have 1 child together who is 2 years old. This will be the 3rd date set for marriage. KC is not himself when she is around. He is extremely quiet and uninvolved with the family when she is around. But, when she leaves he smiles and laughs and has alot of fun. Kendra uses their daughter to get what she wants. She has told KC that he will not get to see their daughter when things are not going well between them. She has threatened to leave and he will never see her again. She has said the same thing to KC's mother and even went to their house and took all of their granddaughters photos from their home. She has called his cousins and told them that she hates our entire family. Their wedding is in a few weeks and we are not sure if it will happen but now she has contacted the flower girl's mother and told her that she is not needed in the wedding because of budget issues. She also sent an email to the best man's (KC's only brother) girlfriend and told her she is not invited to the wedding and that if anyone does not support their marriage then they should not be there. Please help with any advice.

Why on Earth would she be angry enough to steal pictures of a grandchild from a grandparent? Something in particular must have sparked that unless she's a complete basket case and a candidate for the psych ward!
It sounds like there's more to the story here than her just being bitter because your nephew got her pregnant outside of wedlock.
I'm very sorry, but I have little sympathy for your nephew- he made his bed and now he has to lie in it. If he didn't want the young lady to be his "baby's momma", he should have kept it in his pants.
The person I DO have sympathy for is your grand-niece. She didn't do anything but she's in the middle of this mess.
Children do better with both parents in the household. You all need to start thinking of what's best for the baby.
The fact that the bride made the statement about not attending the wedding if you don't support the marriage indicates that somebody (the selfsame best man's girlfriend?) in your family decided to tell her that they think she's a bad match for KC. I can't blame her for being mad.
If Kendra is facing hostility from your family, returning that hostility is not exactly to be unexpected, now is it?
Frankly, from your story, KC sounds like an irresponsible type of person and perhaps the strong arm tactics that Kendra is using on him are what's needed to get him to do what he needs to do.
So, maybe you guys need to make the attempt to mend fences and apologize to Kendra for your behavior.
Give this marriage a chance and support the couple and they might just surprise you.
Always remember that the baby's there and it's not just about KC and Kendra anymore...

I'm kind of "addicted" to Gatorade. Everytime we go to the store, I buy it. And, instead of buying cokes to keep around the house like I use to, I now buy Gatorade.. and drink atleast 1 a day. Ok, my question is.. Is Gatorade bad for you? And is drinking this much harmful? Should I cut down on any/all/how much?
Gatorade was originally formulated as a drink for athletes to rehydrate during and after exertion.
It has carbohydrates (in the form of sugar) and electrolytes (Sodium and Potassium mostly) to replenish what's lost during intense physical activity.
I have heard some unsubstantiated rumors to the effect that people who drank too much Gatorade without having physically exerted themselves had problems relating to the Potassium levels in their blood interfering with normal metabolism and cardiac function.
But I've looked and looked an can find NO examples of such things happening.
A bottle or two (or three) of Gatorade per day certainly won't hurt you. The body pretty closely regulates it's balance of Sodium and Potassium, so you'd have to drink a ridiculous amount in a very short time to have much affect.
Like any sweetened drink, Gatorade can pose a threat of tooth decay and weight gain.
It's probably slightly better for you than the Coke you say you used to drink because it doesn't have Caffeine.
So, if you enjoy the stuff, go right ahead!

my friends are soo mean to people. like, there mean to like people in our group too! who they call their best friends. Like, ok.. we are the popular group in school, i go to a catholic school, so its small. so yeah, were the popular ones, & so like nobody likes the 2 of them. They like think there all great bc they belong to a country club, & have a big house. But, i have just as big of a house & belong to a country club, & i dont act like them at all. they get mad, if like me & my best friend, dont invite them to the mall. like they always cause drama, & basically me & my friends are sick of them.. how do we get rid of them? .. it will be our last year at our school, so we dont want them to ruin it.
Well, as a friend, you have an obligation to try to help them before you just dump the relationship.
You only wrote about how you're trying to leave them out of your activities, which is a very hurtful thing to do to a friend. It's no wonder why they get angry with you.
Have you ever sat down with any of them individually and had a heart to heart talk with them about their behavior?
Sometimes people don't know they're doing anything wrong or offensive until a TRUE friend sits down with them and tells them about it.
You should tell them that you think they're acting elitist and snobbish and that you don't like to be with them when they act like that.
If you do this it will either make them even angrier and they'll stop being your friends (which is basically what you said you wanted in your question) or they'll improve their behavior and they'll be your good friends again- which I think would be a much better result.
Either way, you'll have the satisfaction of having done the right thing.

Well, first off, you're going to have to tell us WHICH Lexington you're talking about? There's more than one Lexington in the world, you know (Lexington KY and Lexington MA come immediately to mind).
I just visited the websites of the retailers you mentioned. Those clothes are very expensive! I don't understand the idea of paying a premium to get pre-worn-out jeans. That's something you could do all by yourself with just a little ingenuity.
Shops like the ones you mention are only really selling their name, their clothes aren't any better than those at say Target or K-Mart.
If you are set on worn out stuff, get some second hand stuff. Old clothes are CHEAP on places like Ebay.
Frankly, I think women look much more attractive in properly fitting and maintained clothing- you do want to look good to the guys don't you?
Do you ever see supermodels posing in cruddy clothes (unless they're advertising that specific product)? No, because they wouldn't look nearly as good to the guys.
Spend the money your parent are giving you wisely. If you've ever been loaded down with tons of homework from school and had no time at all to do the things you wanted to do and were stressed out about getting it all done, then you have some small idea of the burden your parents have taken on out of love for you.
Return that love by using the money wisely.
Make a list of the things you NEED for school, then a list of the things you'd LIKE to have.
Go on line to places like Froogle.com and look up the prices.
Make yourself a budget so that you can make the most of your money.

I'm sorry to tell you that hair grows at a genetically pre-programmed rate that you can't affect.
Hair growth can be slowed or stopped by disease, chemical assaults, or severe malnutrition.
But, assuming you're well nourished and disease free, you can't really speed it up.

I went to the dermatologist about a month ago and he perscribed me minocycline 100mg before bed. when i wake up in the morning, i am so dizzy. he told me that there was a slim chance that that would happen. It eventually passes after about 2-3 hours after i wake up. im afraid that when school starts and i have to walk to class that im gonna get dizzy. i have 5 pills left until my next refill. which means that ill take my last pill on July 30th. i dont know if this would help but im 15/f. I have an appointment to see my dermatologist on august 30th. and one more refill until then. i know that when i take myself off of this medication, the dizziness will stop. So i know it wont affect me long-term. so what should i do?

You need to call your doctor immediately, as in RIGHT NOW!
You should never, ever try to stop, start, or adjust the dosages of prescription medications without your doctor's orders. You could make yourself very sick or cause yourself permanent harm.
