Q: I would like to go to new york city, in like march. My mom said she'd take me..but, shes never been there & doesn't know like the area well. Can anyone tell me what its like? We'd wanna go see like broadway plays, & go to china town, to get fake designer purses. & junk like that. Whats it like in NYC? & would we know like how to get around, even if we've never been there? What could I say to get my mom to let me go there? i wanna go realllly bad.

& if you've been there, what are some good places to go to.

me and my mom LOVE the city and taking day trips there, we go every summer to see a broadyway show and go out to eat afterwards, we personally like Chevys, or the Espn zone.

Also we have gone to china town numerous times and we LOVE it. Seriiously, chinatown knows fashion its usually always one step ahead of fashion and the best jewlery is there for really really cheap.

you really should go to the city, its an amazing experience. I live in the suburbs New York so we go by train down there. We've driven but its extremely hard to drive in places like Times Square so wear good walking shoes.

Well, this isn't a purse at all.
This is a tote bag, and i use one in school to carry books around and i've seen those ones as well.

well,

i use tampax juniors or lights. If your a young teen i'd use lights or regular , because if you get tampons that arebigger than you need you have a higher risk of toxic shock syndrome.
ps. if you buy ones that are like huge like, the heavyflow tampons its gonna hurt getting it in and out.

Q: My clothes have an empty smell to them. In fact, they don't smell like anything. Are there any detergents out there that give clothes that fresh smell to them? My mom has been using the Original All and things that get clothes clean, but nothing that makes them smell nice. Are there any brands that seem to qualify?

actually, all comes with many different scents so you can keep using all but just buy the scented kinds, they have scents like fresh rain and that kind of stuff.

also you could use dryer sheets, just throw one in the dryer with your clothes and they'll smell great.

Its illegal on myspace to upload other artists song on your music page. Your friend may have one but its illegal, and it probably will get deleted.

Q: My girlfriend and I have been dating for just over a month now. She had been a very touchy feely person, not in any sort of sexual sense, but always holding or playing with hands, or hugging and such.

Up until this week. She has been in an absolutely horrible mood since Sunday, really hasn't talked to me or returned calls or anything, and hasn't been fond of any sort of physical or social contact from anyone. I would chalk it up to PMS (sorry about the stereotype, girls) but it's literally been all day all wee. I had asked her earlier in the week if she was okay, and she said yes, that she was just feeling weird and didn't want to be around people. Today at lunch it was awful. I asked her again, walking to class (just to note, the first time she didn't hold my hand walking to her class) and she said she didn't want to talk about it. She didn't say anything else, and I hugged her an kissed her goodbye, but still.

I've treated her very well, and I've been giving her space. I'm pretty sure it as absolutely nothing to do with me, but nonetheless, what am I supposed to do?

Hey, I had this friend when I was in 6th grade,(I was 11 at the time) Let's call her carrie,and her brother used to always come home drunk at night. Well, she used to tell me that she was really scared that her brother would do something to her. Well one night, when he came home drunk, he raped her, and the night she told me, she committed suicide. Well, now I'm in 8th grade and the memory of her and her story just sorta haunts me. my brother comes home drunk all the time now, and to make it worse, he has anger issues. well, now I'm really scared that he might rape me. okay i'm a realist. you need to not listen to the people below me, they all offer the same advice 'TALK TO YOUR PARENT. TELL SOMEONE!' well you know what? Thats not going to help, you need to take action now. I suggest locking your door. Its simple but its what i would do, and if you have friends down the street try to sleep over their houses or something. aw, i feel for you. But don't think of yourself like that, I have friends that I talk to but they're not necesarily the first people I want to hang out, but that doesn't mean I'm using them. My suggestion would be to really try to talk to them and get closer, maybe if you invited them to hang out or see a movie they'd have fun and want to do it again. I suggest seeing The Covenant, the movie is full of attractive guys so its the perfect opportunity to giggle and have fun. The columnsit below me is wrong. Q: I am the type of girl you would probably classify as a "player". well i'm a dancer so I know my way around tights. Okay so capezio tights are the most comfortable things in the world, the link i'm sending are the footless ones just pull them up and roll them in the waist to make them shorter. They have some cute colors, not just your average pink and black.

Q: hmm i dont rlly kno how to explain this... like you kno the 'scrunched' hair right? but its not scrunched alot all over, its more just kinda wavy but it still has that wet look? yeah well my hair is naturally curly. but i cant get it to srunch right it looks horrible & ive tried so many times! the bottom half of my hair looks ok when i do it, but the top straightens itself out naturally and when i scrunch that it just turns into a big poofy mess. soo usually i end up puttin it up or at least half up. ok my question is.. how can i make the curls in my hair be more wavy rather than curly and have the wet look? also, is there any way i could straighten my hair and then scrunch it while its dry and maybe that would help me get it to work right?

Well right after you get out of the shower towel dry your hair so its damp, then shake your hair all over to seperate the strands, then add gel and the more gel you'll add the 'wetter' your hair will look. But I have to tell you, the wet look means really crispy crunchy hair. Theres no avoiding that.

Q: So here's a question you don't hear often...

I'm 19/F and I'm a large build... I'm only 5'7, but I'm a size 14 or so, 38DD. The problem is finding a style of clothes that fits me well... most clothes are designed for skinny people and then the size is just bumped up, and it's really frustrating! Button up shirts pucker, long sleeve shirts won't fit my arms...

I want to be able to dress my age without looking like I'm stuffed into my clothes.

Anybody have any suggestions for clothing styles that will flatter me? I'm not a plus size, either.

Actually Torrid is really really great, if you can't fit into an extra small in there I think you should try larger sized polos with cami's underneath. The cami will hold your stomach in if its the kind i'm talking about, like the stretch tight kind and a polo will show a little cleavage but in a cute not sluttish way.
