so i generally go by erin. i'm probably 19 years old. i hate my birthday. i go to penn state mckeesport, and i'm majoring in meteorology. i work at a freaking pizza hut. and i like the colors blue and green. so here's the deal. i would like to describe myself as mature, but that's hardly the truth. i love laughing and making others laugh. i'm random. i'm sarcastic. you'll think i'm crazy the first time you meet me, but i promise you'll learn to love me. i live for partying with friends and gettin a little crazy. i don't care what you think about me. i'm not afraid to be honest. if it hurts your feelings somewhere along the way, oh-well. i really hate when people tell me what i can or can't do. i hate asking for help. i'm pretty independent. i have serious trust issues. i don't know why, and i can't help it. i overthink things and worry too much, yet manage to be too impulsive at times. i have OCD. and i'm a perfectionist. it doesn't take much to make me upset. sometimes i cry for no reason. then i laugh about it, cause i'm so stupid sometimes. i trip a lot. get used to it. i can play the piano like a fiend. i have to sniff everything. i'm easy-going and hate making decisions. i love to stand outside in thunderstorms, until someone has to pull me back inside. i'm really addicted to mountain dew. i'm a huge sucker for a guy with a guitar. i'm probably too nice for my own good. and one last thing. u will never hear me scrape my fork against my plate. ever.

Well, I've been working at Pizza Hut here in the U.S. for a little over a year and still get paid minimum wage ($7.15). I don't know if it would be different in Australia, but you could always ask the manager if you decide to apply there, and they will tell you. Besides the lowish pay though, employees get a 20% discount and get free personal pans and breadsticks, etc. :]

I am currently in grade ten in high school. Next semester I am taking my first online class... and I have NO idea what to expect! Anyone have any advice or tips on this please help! Thanks!

I had to take an online course this past semester. Before I scare you though, I will add that I'm in college, and the course I took was basically meant to weed people out, so it was INCREDIBLY difficult. What I'm saying is, I'm sure your course won't be as difficult as mine was, so I don't think you need to worry about that. My suggestions to you though, are to take as many notes as possible. I don't know if you'll be able to communicate with your online instructor at all. I wasn't able to for the course I took, but if you can, take full advantage of this. In online courses, you almost have to teach yourself, because the teacher is not present. But if you are able to ask for outside help from your online instructor, do so, if need be. Keeping a binder will also help keep you as organized as possible. Anything else, just ask, I know all about online courses. :]

Ok, I'm on my junior high's 8th grade volleyball team, and we are recently going to have our schedule changed from 7th hour volleyball to 1st hour.Unfortunatly, we will be riding a bus to a different school for first hour, which has a really harsh coach, who works the team really hard. And she only gives the team about 5 minutes to get dressed and ready to go back to school. I know I won't be able to take a shower in that time, and pretty much, no one will. Is there anything I can use to make my hair not as sweaty looking or anything within about five minutes? I'll be on a really tight schedule. Any hair products/devices? Thanks!

Might seem kinda weird, but if you sprinkle a bit of baby powder (not too much) where your hair is sweaty, it will absorb all the moisture. :]

Well, I started using Frostwire pretty recently. It is EXACTLY like Limewire. You do have to download it, but so far, I've experienced no trouble with it. My computer works just fine with Frostwire. So maybe you could give that a try. :]

Would people take that as really offensive? I read it on the internet and we're making a poster on social justice and I was wondering if I should put that sentence in it somewhere.

Personally, I think it's hilarious, but let me tell you something. I joined a group on facebook that said exactly that, and one of my friends was looking at my groups and saw it. She was completely offended, even though she wasn't gay herself, just had a lot of gay friends. After thinking about it, I left the group. One of my best friends is gay, and it doesn't make me think any less of him. My advice to you is to not put that on your poster. Some people would definitely find it funny, but most probably won't, and I wouldn't take that risk. Hope that helped. :]

There are probably a lot, but I use Aussie Moist conditioner, and it works soooo good. People are constantly saying they're jealous of my hair, cause it's so soft haha.

My ex recently came back into my life, and she was my first and only true love. We have been spending a lot of time together as well. She has a boyfriend of 4 years and he is the complete opposite of me. He doesn't treat her like she should be treated all the time. Yesterday she decided that he was the better choice. He doesn't go to school, he doesn't have a job, and he has no plan to do any of these things. Am I wrong in saying that I am the better choice??

Maybe, maybe not. You may be the better choice when it comes to things like education and a job, but there are other things to consider. I'm no way saying you're a bad person, you seem pretty cool. I'm just trying to give you another perspective. Think about this. She's been with him for 4 years. Obviously, there's something there that you might not see. I couldn't say what that is exactly, you may just need to talk to her about it. But whatever you do, don't pressure her in any way, shape, or form. Simply be there for her if she needs you. Eventually, she might realize that you are the better person for her, but until then, just enjoy being her friend. :]

what is global warming and who believes in it? just a question i'm curious for an answer. and is the world going to be destroyed by global warming? and if global warming isn't real than what is really causing it? god?

Since I'm currently majoring in meteorology, I felt I should probably answer this question. :]Global warming is essentially an increase in the average temperature of the Earth's air temperature. Like younggrandma said, not a lot of scientists believe it's happening. However, even if it was, the earth wouldn't be destroyed in our lifetime. It's almost the same as people getting freaked out about the sun. Yeah, eventually it's gonna eat the earth, it's a dying star, but it's definitely NOT gonna happen in our lifetime. Some people do believe in global warming, though. For instance, I live in Pittsburgh, and the temperature yesterday was 72 degrees (the average is about 40). This kind of weather has caused many people to believe in global warming, but it is simply the Earth undergoing a change. It really makes no sense, especially since a week ago, it was 15 degrees. :] There are going to be times when it gets warmer than usual or cooler than usual, but there is really nothing to worry about. My class was assigned a persuasive essay and we had an assembly the day it was due. my hour was during the assembly. like any other class that i have ever had i assumed it would be due the next day for my hour because we didnt have that class AT ALL that day so i didnt hand it in, because i didnt go to class, because we didnt have class. the next day i went to hand it in and my teacher told me she was going to take 10% off because it was LATE! She said she told people in my class when she saw them in the hallway to pass it on that the papers were still due, but apparently no one informed me. She also said in her "class expectations" under the ABSENTEE policy it says if you are at school for any part of the day she expects all work for her class to be turned in otherwise it will be late. i wasnt an absentee if we didnt have class (&i didnt even know that in the first place, but still i wasnt absent from a class period that did not exist!). is this fair? because if it would have been the original grade i got on my paper i would have gotten an A for the semester. that 10% was the diffrence between an A- and an A, which potentially could be the diffrence between a scholarship or not, which would make a BIG diffrence in what i do with my entire life!...waht do i do? and is it fair. (i plan on writing a letter to the principal)

No way is that fair! There's no way that your teacher could have insured that everyone in her class would have received that message. If no one told you, then how were you supposed to know that it was due?? I would highly suggest that you write that letter to your principal. It is completely unfair, and I'm sure your principal can get it fixed for you. :]

Im really into the Beatles, the Kinks, and the Beach Boys and a few others.. Im really into classic rock/alternitive, never metal, i love up-beat music. Ive been listening to these since I was born; my parents introduced me to them. What are some other bands that i might like? What are some other oldies I might like, and what are some new, modern bands that have similar sounds that i would like?

Don't know if it's necessary low tolerance, but it's generally true. I'm pretty skinny, and it takes no time at all for me to get super trashed. It could be like the person below me said. The alcohol just goes through your system faster. :P

For what its worth, which camera is better: Canon PowerShot SD600 ($528) or Canon PowerShot SD1000 ($160)? Which takes sharper, clearer, more detailed and more vibrant-colored photos with lifelike depth?

I got the Canon Powershot SD1000 for Christmas, and I love it! It has so many cool things and different settings for certain conditions. I can't really compare it to the other, since I've never used it, but I'm happy with the SD1000. :]

So i know how to download music and i know i have to connect the mp3 player to the computer which i already did. But how do i put the music i downloaded into my mp3 player?

All you have to do is know what folder you're saving your downloaded music to and then open it. Then go to "My Computer" (after you connect the mp3 player) and look for the removeable disc and open it. Then just click and drag the songs you want from the limewire folder into the removeable disc folder. Need a better description, just ask. :]

LOVE House. Yes, Hugh Laurie does have a British accent. I've seen a few interviews with him on TV, and he's definitely got an accent. I'm pretty sure they use speech trainers for that kind of thing, like the person below me said. :]

i got the pantech duo phone for christmas, and i love it. but one thing i can't figure out is how to make the mp3's i uploaded to the phone a ringtone. when i go to select a ringtone for certain things, the list doesn't include the mp3's. and when i play the mp3 & go to the menu, it doesn't have the option like "set as.." or anything. any help?

I use Myxertones to get my ringtones. 95% of their ringtones are free and plus, if it doesn't have what you're looking for, it lets you upload your own music and turn it into a ringtone. Then I think you just give them your phone number, and it sends your new ringtone via picture message. :]

ok well i am turnign 19 in like 1 week and i have no breasts...like there is a tiny bump and thats it. i am, just wondering are they going to continue to grow because i am 19 with no breasts and it really blows away all my self esteem and it makes me not want to get close to a guy because i have none. i wear these fake things because i am so self concious....like what 19 year old has no breasts....i dont even want big ones...atleat an A cup would be nice though. It especially makes me not want to have sex because i wouldnt want any guy to see me naked. I am also a late bloomer though because i only started growing hair under my arms at 17 and i only got my period for the first time when i was 15 and i had a thyroid problem...so maybe that has something to do with it. But this no boobs thing is seriosuly starting to kill me! so my question is will they continue to grow?? i dont care if i have small boobs i just want some boobs....thanks.

Haha you know what? I've got the same exact problem. And strangely enough, I also turn 19 in a week. When's your birthday?? Haha. Anyway, it could be because of your thyroid problem and there is a chance that you'll grow some boobs. You'll just have to wait it out and see. If you wanted to, you could also talk to your doctor about it, and maybe they can confirm that for you. Most people say it's genetics: If your mom has big boobs, so will you. Not true in my case, however. But my advice to you is, don't let it get to you. I know of a couple guys who don't even mind, they'd just be glad to get some in the first place. And you wouldn't want a guy who cared if you had big boobs anyway. Just be confident with the way you are, and guys will notice your awesome personality, not your boobs. :]
