Long story short, I used to be best friends with this guy. (he's 16, i'm 16/f) Anyway, this year stuff's been rocky and we both have been trying to get back to the friendship we used to know, it's not working, it's been about 6 months. I think, at least on my part, I can't remember how I was ever his friend 'normally', like without being so close, but that's how I need to be now. I can't expect to hang out with him all the time, and call him/him call me, etc. How can I get myself used to being okay with being just normal friends? And also..how can I treat him like a normal friend?

Im 16 and my dad died when i was 8 and my mom recently got married to a guy who used to be in the army. I have two sister and now i have 3 step brothers. He is like way strict and his kids are like perfect angels but me and my sisters have never really been raised that strict and for lack of better words are pretty wild. my mom never really punished us for things and now this guy is trying to control us and take over our lives. What should i do?
well, this is tricky. I think you should find a quiet time with your step dad and talk things out. Now I not saying that you havn't realized that he is now your father figure but im saying that you should go with the flow and learn how to live with him. hope you find a happy medium.

what is it like to be inside a hurricane or tornado? i've always been wondering.. i mean part of me wants to see what its like but part of me knows its really stupid and i could die.. lol like when your spinning in one like.. after you get flung off somewhere? i dont get it.
well in a tornado if you opened your eyes they would get sucked out of your head. then you would have to deal with debries and dirt moving at 200mph. a hurricane just has more water and is alot more wide spread.
trust me i have sat in my basement throught two tornados and they suck

I'm a lonely "desperate" teenage girl. hey its ok. rough patches suck. trust me i can relate, my girlfriend dumped me for my best friend today and my mind is a mental soup of confusion and sometimes rage. when you get down you shouldn't think about the boys who rejected you, you should think about the boys you havn't met yet. it ok to feel unhappy but it not ok to let it drive your life.

Kay well for starters, im 14/f and going to high school next year. This guy whom i known since grade 5, his name is Bryan, is acting like a bitch. Im not sure if hes using me or what he wants from me. My friends and i have decided to go to an amusement park next week. He is coming, but he acting like a bitch about it. As in, he wont call my friend to ask for a ride because "hes too busy" but honestly thats just an excuse and hes not taking the time to actually pitch in. It feels like hes only using us for this trip, then going away to camp all summer. well, this guy has some issues to work out with himself before he can even think about going with you. I think you should confront him one more time and tell him that its his last chance to get his story stright. He need to realise that if he doesn't bring this friendship back to a stable basis that he may never see you again. if he really cares he won't let that happen. I think you should watch him very closely and think of all the time he has used you and compare that to how many times he has pulled through. if that doesnt work the personally i would forget him because his excuses won;t make up for his actions no matter how many he makes.

Well if you want to know what guys like, we like skirts, and i mostly like the flowing outfits. personally i think that you need to just do what you normally do and just focus on your natural beauty.
