LiTTLEGiRLBLUE answered Friday July 13 2007, 5:44 pm: You should sit down with them and tell them that you are not the best runner. And that you don't want to do cross country. Tell them to give you a chance to find something that you like and are good at. [ LiTTLEGiRLBLUE's advice column | Ask LiTTLEGiRLBLUE A Question ]

I've gone through this too... when my parents forced me to do a sport I was terrible at and thought was no fun at all.
If telling your parents why you don't want to do cross country doesn't work, I have a plan B for you: Try out a different sport.
There are so many sports out there to try, and I guarantee you'll find one that you like. And if you're worried about not knowing anyone on your team, get a friend to do the sport with you.
