My friend has convinced me to go on a blind date with a guy in grade 12. I am in grade 10. He has seen pictures of me but I know very little about him. My friend assures me that he is nice and such but I'm not sure.
Is this a good idea or bad idea to go?

So there was this guy that I liked for awhile last year because he's nice, funny, and not obnoxious and immature, unlike most guys I know. I really liked him, but then I kind of made myself stop liking him because he had a girlfriend and I barely got to see him. Well this semester, he's in one of my classes and I realize that I do like him again... and I think I may have a chance with him because I make him laugh a lot and we are really alike, and I'm thinking this is a great opportunity to become his friend and maybe that will eventually led to something more than friends. but the thing is, I'm terrible at flirting, I feel weird when I do. So how can I, like, flirt with him and maybe get to know him better? Btw he's really shy and he isn't really flirty so yeah, I know this sounds really cliche, but how can I get him to like me and know me better? my mother is like a different person than when i first met her. she's like two different people in one body. this week, i went on a retreat, and i left her a letter telling her about how much i hate my school and how stupid that school makes me feel. she said she really liked my letter and that she would seriously consider letting me transfer schools. then the minute my aunt walks into the room, she starts screaming. she told me i could never go another school, and if i have to stay in the school that i'm in now, i sware, i've literally thought of like driving myself to another school when my mom drops me off at school or like have someone come pick me up. like, this lady is bipolar and this is definatley not my mommy. i think my real mother was like ubducted by aliens or something, what can i do about her?? please please give me some advice about the school issue, because this lady, whoever she is, doesn't care about anything i have to say. im not even kidding about the car thing, i'm like totally serious and i've made like my main goal to get out of that school, and no one is going to change my mind, even if like i get myself kicked out. ive considered talking to the headmistress and having her ask me to leave, ?? I asked a question regarding a married couple that I'm friends with a couple of months ago. I know the wife had cheated on the husband. Since, I've remained silent about the situation and vowed not to be in a position to witness that again. Well, the wife made a new friend recently and the girl has practically moved her & her two kids in with the couple & their 3 children. Anyways, his little girl pulled me aside after church last night wanting to talk to me and she was upset because the girl and her kids had practically moved in and taken over her bedroom. The couple's two boys are having to share a bed, and the friend is sleeping in the bed with the husband and wife. A friend of mine saw the friend & the husband at the grocery store the day before yesterday grocery shopping together. I thought this was odd. Anyways, I called the wife last night and she was crying and upset and wouldn't talk about it. I called thsi morning to check on her and she told me her husband left her last night and come back really late. I don't know what to do. I'm torn as to whether or not I should call and check on him or not because I spoke to him last night and he never mentioned anything about it. I'm friends with both of them. I've tried comforting her, but she still doesn't want to talk about it. I don't even know why they've split up.
Should I call him and try and talk to him or stay out of it and let them reach out to me when they want to? (link)

a few months ago my friend (15/female)told me she was going to have sex with her boy friend(16 male) of like 5 months. I didnt think it was a good idea, since I thought he was kind of a jerk and a druggie. But I tried to berealy supportive and a good friend, and she promised to go to a doctor, but her mom is sorta verbally abusive, so shes worried the doctor will tell. Well I suggested she go to a teen clinic near her house, and she went but it wasnt open
well then she went ahead and had sex, but she said she wasnt going to do it again. and that shes on this new medication that says she shouldnt be sexually active
well she lied and told my friend four weeks later that they had sex again. So I brought it up, and I said that she should go see a doctor, and she said she would. Then she told me later that she didnt, and then she said that she had sex again! And I was lik, k, you should go see your doctor, just to make sure its okay while your on the medication, and she said no. So I told her that if she didnt, I would talk to her parents. Because I was really worried about her, and I know its not my job, but I was probably wrong. Well then her boyfriend harrassed me online and I freaked out. He called me a bad friend and a bully and stuff, and I didnt knwo what to, seeing as I didnt really do anything wrong, I just told her I'd tell her mom. Well then my friend and I got in a fight because I was scared of her boyfriend and I didnt really want to be around the two of them anymore, so then she asked what was going on so I was honest. And then she said she would go to a doctor if it would make me feel batter. That was about three months ago and I asked her the other day if they were still doing it, and if she had gone to the doctor and she said they were and she hadnt. Then she told me this long story about how shes worried about him and thinks he may be addicted to pot.
I was just wondering; is there anything that can hurt her from his drugs?, should I talk to her parents? Is there anything that could harm her from the medication shes on, do you think that it is important for her to go to a doctor? and is this really my place, or should I back out? I dont want to, but I guess I cant really change her. Any advice would really help. I tried looking at this from an advicenator's perspective and was confused more. My OLD best friend was the greatest for 3 years, or so I thought, I found out she lied and wasn't even my real friend for the first 2 years, and she does little things just to make herself feel better and me feel worse. This may seem kinda stupid and conseted but after being taken advantage of for 3 years it's a big thing/ But anyway, I realised she's really insecure, not that pretty or cool, and I'm MUCH prettier than her. SO after she told all these people lies about me I stoped being her friends, and made friends with my best friend in the world Meg, and we're so good together and we get along great but being friends with her and not my old friend has comprimised my friendships with a lot of my old friends. SO that makes me really sad, and now I'm becoming kind of popular I guess.. and this may seem great but I kind of feel like I'm becoming a snob and that my new friends aren't for real. PLUS with this new like I'm going to have to leave my old life in the dust, but I just don't think I can do that, but I CAN'T go back to my old life because I was SO mistreated. I can't help but feel torn and stuck in the middle... what should I do? (link)

Alright, there is this girl at school(Let'scall her Olivia), and she is REALLY REALLY annoying...if you walk faster than her, she;ll start saying in a whiny voice "Hey, wait, wait for me!" or something, and she cuses a lot, she flips people off, and one day, when I came into school late, she tried to hug me, but I was like 'I don't want to hug, but it's great to see you!' and then my friend calley came up and hugged me and I hugged her back. And yet Olivia honestly won't take a hint! Also, she;s one of those girls who won't stop doing something if you tell her to stop. Like, with another friend,Olivia wouldn't stop hitting her, now there is a place on me where you can hardly touch and it tickles and such. Well, she won't stop and I've told her too, but she won't. i am a freshman in highschool and there's this senior, *John. i knew him all throughout middle school until i was in 8th grade and we just seemed to drift apart. i always used to say "when your a senior, i'll be a freshman & you'll drive me!'" as a joke. now i really am a freshman and i had tottally forgotten about him until one day i walked into the cafeteria in the morning and before i sat down i caught his eye. we looked at eachother for a really long time but neither of us were going to say anything so i just smiled and sat down. i couldn't stop thinking about for the rest of the week. i accidentaly bumped into him in the hall and one of my friends grabbed me before i had a chance to say anything. let me just say before i go any further, we were best friends and when i knew him before i was WAYY to young to even think about him. it always seemed as if he made an effort to sit a couple of seats down from me in the mornings in the caf.
