ive only had cavities like, once before but i was really little so i dont remember anything

anyway i have 2cavities in the back of my mouth, on both sides, and i have to get them fixed in a couple weeks

im freaking out! im like really scared cause i dont know what to expect...

if someone could like, walk me thru what happens, or like how much it hurts?...i would appreciate it ALOT, ill rate all advice

i just got a filling 2 weeks ago and it didnt hurt at all.

first the dentist will put some numbing gel on the spot where the needle will go. then they put the needle, and it does not hurt at all. it feels like a tiny pinch and thats it. then the filling begins and you dont feel anything until they put a little metal thing in your mouth [i think its the filling] and it doesnt hurt, you just feel pressure. doesnt hurt at all. the most painful part is probably the needle which doesnt hurt at all. it doesnt hurt. so dont be worried =] i was worried when i got my filling because it was my first cavity.

im going to be sixteen in 3 weeks.

ive been wit h my boyfriend(17) a long time. and well you know were teens we party and drink. one night it got outta hand and we had sexual intercourse, the condom broke.
here are the signs that im pregnant::
firm breast.
moody.
bloated.
hungry.
frequent urination.
cramps.
spotting.


im really scared because i havent gotten my period yet either.


what should i do.

well first of all you need to confirm that youre pregnant. get a home pregnancy kit from a local drugstore or go to a doctor.
if you are pregnant, you will have to tell your parents because soon they will be able to tell...especially your mother since shes already gone through child birth.
you do have some choices though. You can:
1. keep the baby and raise it
2. put the baby up for adoption [you can do this before its born]
or 3, abortion.

im highly against abortion myself but if you must then you must...

i live in the south, and we always say ma'am and sir when speaking to adults. however, i recently met some students from northern states and they don't say that. they even said that adults from northern states think it's weird when they say ma'am and sir. but in the south, adults think it's disrespectful to not say ma'am and sir. why is this, and should i just say ma'am and sir to all adults because that's how i was brought up?

well im from new york, and i dont say ma'am and sir when addressing adults, but i still address them with respectful names, certainly not anything i would say around my friends or something like that. people are raised differently. not all northerners think its weird to say ma'am and sir, some do it too. dont ever change yourself for other people. if you feel its important to refer to adults as ma'am and sir while speaking to them, then go ahead and do wht you please :]

I have a serious problem with getting hurt on my right leg. This summer I got 2 major injuries on my right leg.

In June, I went to Georgia & we were riding 4 wheelers, and I got burned on on of them & it left a nasty scar. I was wondering is their anyway, I can get rid of that? Like, is their some kind of cream, that will make the scar go away?

Also my second injury, was on my knee. I was at a birthday party just last weekend and we were playing manhunt [it was like 11 at night]. I was running around the corner & i slipped and it scraped my knee. I'm a dancer & whenever I roll around or turn over and put pressure on my knee it really hurts. Today, I accidently banged it on the keyboard slider and it hurt so bad. I was actually hopping to my room. Whats weird about this, is that just the other day, the scab was blue. So I was wondering, do you know whats wrong with it? I keep getting hurt on my right leg. Now, I can't even put pressure on my knee, without having to be in pain! Help me!

ouch...im a dancer too so i know how you feel...well i would suggest seeing a doctor because no one here on advicenators can properly diagnose you without actually seeing your knee...you couldve just bruised it really bad though.

Everyone says American Eagle is the best store, but personally I hate it. All of their t-shirts are basically the same things with different words and colors. A lot of their clothes are really bad quality. I bought a cami from there once and I only wore it once and a HUGE hole ripped and I wasn't even running around or anything. It may be a little cheaper then Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister, but atleast if you buy something from A&F or Hollister, you know the clothes are going to last. American Eagle's clothes arn't the most attractive things, and they look cheap. What do you think about AE?

well everyone does have their own opinons. personally, i like AE. just because clothes are expensive like at a#f and hollister, that doesnt mean that theyre going to last. Not all of their t shirts are the same, they say american eagle on them so what? i think its a lot better than abercrombie where you pay $30 for one shirt.

im just saying that expensive does not always equal good quality.

does trackzor on myspace really work?? or is it just a fake

it does work, but the only people it can detect without saying unknown are other people with trakzor that look at your profile. i had it but i eventually got rid of it because it only showed me one person that looked at my profile because not everyone that viewed my profile had it, so i had no idea who was looking.

hopefully one day theyll create a myspace tracker that actually works...it seems pretty easy, but the real reason they cant make an efficient one is because of myspace's privacy policy.

i got a virus on my computer I don't know how but I got one.. Here is what it is saying..

What should I do to get it off my computer.. I'm useing norton anti virus and its scannign my computer right now..Do you have any other recomedations?

hmm well its always good to have more than one anti-virus software...go to www.download.com and download AVG anti-virus...its free. i have it and it works great.

my uncle is really good with computers and when i first got my computer, like every other windows computer, it came with norton anti-virus. my uncle said that norton can eventually start to harm your computer, like by taking over it and making it crash. i didnt believe him at first but then it started happening to my moms computer. we almost had to erase all the memory because of it but thankfully everything turned out ok.

the point is, get rid of norton and download another antivirus software for free.

for spyware, id recommend downloading spybot search&destroy and ad aware SE personal

all of the programs can be found on download.com, and if not there, just type it in google and download it from a site there

PS- no matter what people say, spybot search&destroy DOES NOT give your computer viruses.

is downloading music from limewire illegal? also, can people get into your computer from it. is there any othe programs you reccomend for downlaoading music? Thanks :]]

well its not really illegal unless you try to resell the music...and people cant really get into your computer from it. ive had it since last year and have had no problems with it. my uncle is really good with computers and all that stuff, and he downloaded it for me. he just said not to download anything other than music files because the viruses are usually in the bigger files, like movies&softwares.

im not saying its impossible to get a virus from limewire, but im saying that ive used it for almost a year now [11 months], and ive downloaded over 400 songs...never got a virus from it.

Why is it so wrong to be chauvanistic, but OMG SO COOL AND TRENDY!!!!1! to be feminst?
Why is that it's wrong for a man to hit a woman, but if the chick hits the guy, it's considered cute?
Why can girls get away with calling guys every sexist name under the sun but if a man dare say the word chick (ZOMG!!!1!! NOT CHICK!!!! *gasp*) he is called a sexist, and that is not ok?

i agree with you on this issue. but the thing is, thats just how things work. females are primarily thought of as the weaker sex, thats why they have men to protect them because men are a lot stronger. since men are a lot stronger if they hit a woman, it can do serious damage to them if hit hard enough. women are sterotyped as weak because when you picture a woman you dont picture a woman with huge biceps carrying a dunbell. you picture a dainty fragile looking person. so when women hit men, they usually dont affect them.

about the other thing you asked, with the sexists and all that? most of that is probably because of how things were in centuries before this one. during the medival times, men were expected to be chivalrous towards women, which means to treat them with respect and courtesy. referring to a woman as a chick is not considered respectful so thats why they get offended.

ok so you gave me some advice on my room but i was wondering do you have an ideas on what colors to paint it because i have no clue but i no i dont want it to be blue even though my blanket is blue but it has to look good with blue

hmm...well a pale yellow would definitly look cute, and soft green would also look good. when painting your room, make sure you dont use dark colors because that makes the room look smaller than it is. lighter colors, like pastels, will open up the room. basically the colors really depend on what type of blue it is. yellow and green will go with pretty much any type of blue. lighter shades could go well with lavender, but thats up to you.

i can do watever i want to it but i am not sure what i want i am 13 and love color i need ideas please i am desprate!!!!!!!
my room is small so i have no rooms for big peices of furniture help!!!

paint your walls your favorite color, or colors. DONT paint the ceiling though because that makes a room looked closed in and even smaller [trust me...i did that with mine which is small enough already and it wasnt good]. next you could get some wall stencils and draw pictures&designs on your walls. since your room is small, try to make the most of your space. eliminate everything you dont need in your room thats taking up space. clean out everything first and get rid of unwanted items that you dont use anymore. one idea that i think is awesome, if you have track lighting [you'll know what that is if you have it] make each lightbulb a different color. that'll add loads of color! or you can do it with any lamp anyway. hang up pictures of you and your friends around your room, or even better make a clothesline of pictures! take some twine[string] and attatch one end to one side of your room and the other end to the opposite side. get some clothespins and pin pictures along it. i tried doing that but it didnt work because i have a ceiling fan =( if you need any more help, just drop one in my inbox!
