FernGully has a good idea... but if he's only 12 or 13, he may not be in any directories... if you know the names of his parents, try them instead. You could also try looking for people you both knew or asking around in places where people knew him.

I wanted to work on a new look for the new year, I've been thinking about punk, not being way over board. . but adding my own looks, mixing and matching I don't want to be noticed, but I want some say in what I wear. . . For the past years I dressed to impress, now its time for a change. . . IM gunna be dressed cuz I feel like wearing w/e the heck I want! I love the color black. . and fire is pretty, but I wouldnt cal myself a pyro, cuz I dont really love fire. . A Dad's Bad Day!!!
It was late saturday night,
when you turned on the light,
you sat by my bed,
and all I felt was dread,
I knew something had happened,
but wut I did not know what,
then you started to speak,
and then I knew,
I didnt want to believe I thought you lied,
but then you showed me where she layed,
on the ground in her home,
to what her dad had done,
She was so cold with pure love in her eyes,
I should of done more,
but she said "No its alright he didnt do it" as she stared at the sky,
this wasnt the first time she had marks to bare,
But she would say "Ooh that was Bear",
but how could a dog brusie her that bad,
The thought of this accident it seemed so sad,
As we stand above her body,
We now start looking for Mr. Nobody,
We found out he skipped town,
Now where do we look now?,
Its such a shame,
for a girl to pay,
for what her dad did because he had a bad day. (link)

The meter is weird... it sounds like you're trying to rhyme free-verse in parts and it's a tad prosey. There are a few grammar issues and the point of view is unclear, but overall it's pretty good... it definitely has potential. The last three lines are very powerful (though they would be more so without the commas).

I know if I dry my wool sweaters they're shrink, but I don't have time to lay these things out to dry... can I just blow dry them? Will that shrink them just like a dryer would? (link)

After you wash them, roll them up in towels and sort of... squish the water out, until they're not so wet. Then you lay them out to dry... they dry a lot faster that way.

Tutors are a good thing. My grandmother tutors as a job. There is absolutely NOTHING stupid about having a tutor. (have you ever heard the saying, "the only stupid question is the one left unasked"? This is something like that).

I've been leaving my window open at night because the room is so hot, and some time within the last month I have developed an odd crawling, painful sensation in my stomach. At night I have interesting dreams about creatures laughing and poking me with sticks and blue lightning coming from the ground. I am beginning to think I'm in serious trouble.
The thing I'm wondering most is, am i carrying a demon child or an alien one? I would much rather have a demon child, because with aliens, who knows? I find demons a bit more amiable and predictable. Plus, demons generally speak English. Can anyone tell me if I'm pregnant by a demon or an alien? (link)

First you should realize that punk is a culture born of music, not of clothing.
If you want to look "punkish," make your own clothes. Alter stuff. Vintage is a nice way to start.
No one will hate you if you don't go all out -they may if you go all Avril, though.

I suggest art gum... the stuff you hang paintings with. Any strong tape should work on smooth ceilings, though... and white glue will stick without ruining the ceiling (if you're worried about that).

Take a hot bath about an hour before you want to go to sleep. Read. Listen to chamber music. Daydream. Anything that normally calms you down and makes you feel comfortable will help.

I'd like to add a bit of advice to what's already been said: if you get stains on anything, rinse in cold water before you put it though the wash - the stains should just come out. If you wash it in hot water, the stains will... stain.

My cat, whom I owned for a happy 11 months, ran away. His name was Caspian and he was completely grey, not to mention the most sweet tempered and cutest cat I've even known. My mother let him out one day (even though we both decided before we got him that he would be an INDOOR cat AT ALL TIMES) and he never came back. This, of course, depressed me greatly and he still hasn't come back after two weeks. Slowly, I've let my hope die. How do I deal? (link)

My boyfriend is physically incapable of selecting decent movies for us to watch together. I keep trying to coach him on it ("okay honey, now see, this is another lame flic about rich people killing for more money...") but it's not working. He just doesn't understand the words "pick out something intellectual". I end up chosing most of the movies myself now but it'd be really nice if I could just say, "Pick something up on the way here and we'll watch it" when I'm feeling lazy. Got any tips on how to make him get it? Is this a sign that he's just not right? (link)

Well, if you have a serious aversion to watching one of his movies once in a while, you could always suggest he get one by a certain director or starring a certain actor you already like... also, most video/DVD rental places have their stuff divided into sections, which you could use as guidelines.

I sometimes have pop tarts for breakfast, generally when I'm running late. I think they're fine. I wouldn't eat them too often, especially the heavily frosted ones, but breakfast foods they are.

i need to think of some good cheap ways to stay warm on a camping trip this weekend. it's gonna be really freaking cold, and I don't want to buy and expensive -80 degree sleeping bag because i don't go camping all that often, but i'm afraid i'm going to freeze to death. what should i bring to keep me really warm? i know about wool but are there other really good fabrics to be sure to wear? Polarfleece and flannel are pretty good. Also consider fur or (natural) fleece-lined boots and hoods. Wear socks while you sleep.
One of the best ways to keep warm is to heat rocks in fire, then put them in your tent (well away from you)... only really works if your tent doesn't have a floor covering though - you need somewhat of a pit.
Bring a lot of blankets and something to wear on your head, also something to seal the draft from the opening in your sleeping bag.
